Since yesterday bitcoin price is slowly increasing.
I think it will recover soon and touch the new height..
I noticed that too. Well, hopefully the value of bitcoin will increase continuously. That's why there's no reason to get panic because we all know that after the fall for this past few weeks bitcoin will recover again just like what's happening now. We all have to stay positive and be more patient. Normally, it really happened and we already see this many times. Well, we can't control their emotions worrying of this down value but it is the way btc behave. It's a trick and never fooled with it because we know the power of this coin. Investing in ICO is riskier than investing on a proven coin like eth and btc. If you badly need the money then sell it if not try to assess the coin if it is really worth it to hold. Not all altcoins will have a bright future but if you think they have then try to average down buy more in the current low price and just hold. If they are really good coin then just have faith, eventually the price will rise.
Certainly you're right, this all depends on the situation wherein it is really necessary to sell all newly coins. It is hard to predict this coin due to its new crypto so we are doubt what will be its value for the next months. So, better if don't need it badly then hold it for a while. |

Neo is a very strong and promising coin. everything could continue to stay strong even as the price went down. I plan to keep it for a few years without selling it. The current prices are still very low and can rise to the level of $ 1000 in a year  Altcoins so far keeps surprising us even some are only focusing on bitcoin. There are so many reasons why people keep holding. Maybe they're too late to cut the loss so keep holding is the only choice for them. Beside they also keep holding cause they know the potential of the coin they're holding and they know this huge dump will over soon and the whole market will green again . But sometime hold is not a good way if the coin they're holding is a trash coin
Holding coin will help the value to increased as what I understand. This is why when the market is in red status it means that there are many coins that has been dump. That is why more people suggest it to hold for the reason of its value to increased. |

I think that in 2018 we wont reach $100000, it is too much for bitcoin. My forecast of $35-45000. and the fact that bitcoin wont grow very much it well for the market is necessary that growth was gradual more and more people in the world learned it
I agree with your speculated value which is near enough compared to what the OP wanted to have. Everyone wanted to make bitcoin increased its value 5x than the previous year but I doubt that it will only be 2-3x. |

I am holding BTC, ETH for coins and VIB, LUN for tokens. Especially the last two imho have the chance to grow even more.
Well you are right there are a lot of coins in market that are no peak for demand such as you mentioned Ethereum, bitcoin and ICO but I would say the demand of bitcoin is much higher than any other currency, it will be more profitable as compare to other so I will go for bitcoin and will hold all of my bitcoin as it is increasing in price and people are investing more to hope 2018 will be the year of bitcoin. Everybody loves bitcoin and I think nobody will against with it. This is just because many are already rich through the help of this coin. There are many altcoins now and it's hard to determine which is really the best to hold this year. But for me, I don't want to make things hard and I always prefer to hold btc. |

It's a pretty common mistake, not every coin with low price has more chances. Coins with low price must not be confused with coins with low capitalization. The last ones really have more chances to go to the moon! Even if this coin is the shit, it can be pumped by some group of traders. But better invest to the coins with promising technology, than the growth is more possible
It is really hard to determine the value of a coin because it has many reasons why it suddenly pump even if its price at the ICO is low. Crypto market keeps surprising us because there are coins that we didn't expect to increased its value at a short period of time. I'm also assuming that btc will once again crack the $ 20,000 mark this year. Nobody can say when this will be accurate, but of course it's good to hear someone saying it who should know it.  Many people predict the same thing, that bitcoin prices will surpass $20k this year, I think it might happen? earlier bitcoin prices had reached $19k, certainly to reach $20k price is not impossible for bitcoin, I think it's just about time, where the market will get better and bitcoin users grow more and it will increase the demand periodically, I myself predict like last year where prices will climb at the end of the year As per assumption of bitcoin price value to reached at $20K mark is very much possible to happen within the year but for the month of July reaching the $20K mark would be too early. Whales can only control the price of a market with small volume like most of altcoins but they cannot control a cryptocurrency price if it has a huge volume or if it has lots of investors like Bitcoin but since cryptocurrency prices are determined by the demand and supply, of course whales can still affect the price to drop if they will sell all of their coins and that can also be a cause for small investors to have fear that the price will continue to fall and will decide to also sell their coins, this is why whales play a major role in all kinds of market. If the whales have the ability to manipulate the price of btc then what they are doing is I think have a good reasons. It's also normal that price in the market should not be stable so that buying and selling will continue for purpose of being fair to other coins/altcoins. |

This is all pretty normal, alts have slowed over the last 2 days while BTC has taken off, end result is people now have more faith in BTC so are selling alts.
Also it's a tiny dip, you'll see many many more of these throughout the year.
We already seen this kind of situation and yes this is normal behavior especially this is about market competitions. I rarely see btc and altcoin increasing together. It is more likely that when btw is high then expected that altcoin is low. |

It is so worried because until now the bitcoin is still dropping. I wish after Chinese New Year the price is back to the top. We are need to be patient and trust for it. I believe sooner or later it will increase again.
Btc is recovering as of this moment and hopefully it will continue to go up. We should be always positive especially when there are times that it faces a lot of problems regarding its fluctuations. |

That's exactly the point but other people don't know what to do especially they are new in trading. When they see reds, they will start to think quick and will be worried. So, the outcome will be in bad shape which results only to panic buying. |

Oh my gosh! Bitcoin is crashing! - Who has not heard that in the last few weeks?
Well, I am the "Glass is half-full" kinda guy. I see a Fire Sale of bitcoins, where they see a crash. Since December the price went down with almost 60% <Most people are dumping coins left, right and centre and everyone is running for the hills... The end of the world is coming!

I am like a kid in a Candy Store. If I had enough money, I would have bought all the sweets at the Fire Sale! ... not just that, I would have bought the shop, closed the doors and kept all the sweeties for myself.
Unfortunately, my funds are limited and I can only afford to buy the sweetest candy as my fiat income is paid weekly. <Yes, believe it or not, some of us still have to work to pay the bills>

It's so good to be optimistic yet there is a fine line between being optimistic and irresponsible. Someday people will see a crash you will see a fire sale but it would be just crash that way you buy everything you lose everything. Bitcoin is not just like sweets. Gold is . Bitcoin is a very complicated sweet, like a quantum probabilistic sweet that you can't determine wether it is sweet or bitter. So I know you got to buy when it seems to be a crash because that is the only way you will make a big profit. But you have to be careful and you have to know when to bet against the system. I wouldn't say buy bitcoins but I would say just make money. The point here is never panic when btc value is dropping but instead this is the right time to buy the coin. It's so simple to think that we have to buy when the price is low and sell it in the right time but in actual, we actually feel worried. But overall we should be happy and make money by making the right decisions. |
