1  Economy / Economics / Re: Any business where today you launch, tomorrow you begin making profit...? on: August 24, 2023, 01:32:33 PM
I thought you were joking but look at your replies to everyone's opinion at the first page... yeah you at least put some thought into that. "Start today but rake in profit right at tomorrow" doesnt seem like it was possible for any legitimate business. You could do it at the small scale, niche or something but any more than that, huge revenue then it becomes a headache. For example, a lemonade stand. It requires little in preparing while you can rake in profit right away. But of course, we all knew that it was just for chump money, just 1 stand and a little kid thanks to people found it amusing. You couldn't make it to become your main fishing pole.
Or maybe open up an onlyfan account. Nerds and simps will throw the money at you right away as long as you're a 10/10 stacy. But I don't think people want to go that route since you know, society still frown upon it. At a cost of your mentally healthy but if you find it's normal then you'll be fine. Talk about e-girls business, I remember there were a lot of orgs that lording over those e-girls, acting as their management or training them, taking a cut from those girls.

3  Economy / Gambling / Re: I Have a Question ~ Are 1xbit Campaigners Playing on 1xbit? on: August 26, 2022, 05:14:53 PM
For member or full member accounts, I can understand since it's easy to get merit to rank up to that level. But for Hero/Legendary, yeah I don't get why they throw away such accounts and reputations for weekly payment from a scam campaign like 1xbit. I suspect most of those accounts are alts or multi account or already have a low reputation already.
That means they can anytime ditch that account for another or give merit to rank up a new account.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think metaverse have a place in the world on: August 26, 2022, 04:36:12 PM
well, it's something that is possible in the future. I mean zuck changed their company into META, isn't it?

The problem was is it's still not accessible to normal people who even don't know how to use email or buy a necessary equipment.

They rename the business Meta, but I'm not sure how it would operate in practice, will they also be operating from the metaverse? that, in contrast to actual circumstances, will be expensive to maintain. If you are working in the metaverse, you should be able to deliver them there, but can the rest of the world see that? I believe that everyone in the metaverse is only trying to gain more followers so they can make more money.
I believe that NFTs are more authentic when used for artistic endeavours than the metaverse hype we often hear in the cryptocurrency world.
Both Metaverse and NFTs are risky ventures. Don't see much worth or a high chance of gains in return for you if you had invested early into those. Being a pioneer is a perk but I don't think anyone wants to become a pioneer for both Metaverse and NFTs currently. As I said, you would lose more than gain. The market is in a downturn, bear mode. People prefer to hold their investment money on a tight leash.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Price To Buy Ethereum on: August 26, 2022, 04:13:15 PM
A few months ago, $1,000 for 1 ETH is considered a good price entry. Now, $1,600 seems a bit too much, in my opinion. Maybe the PoS hype is already 'priced in' for ETH. Any investments around that price range are very risky. The best course of action: DCA in 25% of your fund to this price but no more. Wait and see if it goes down, DCA in more. If not, just stay with 25% of your fund @$1,600.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fact about Shiba on: August 25, 2022, 08:00:07 PM
We all find it hard to move on from a project that did incredibly well, many are still buying Shiba inu today because they believe it can do another 1000% gain in future but the reality is I don't see how anymore, don't get me wrong, Shiba will still be a profitable investment but what I have learnt so far about making the biggest gain in crypto is becoming one of the earliest investors, before the project get popular you should be in, that's when you should be expecting 100x - 300x.
Not all "earliest investors" get lucky and profitable. Some of them don't even truly understand what the project they're buying into is all about and that tends to make them sell off in panic once price dips. We saw that with Bitcoin as many early adopters still rue their panic sales till date. You can verify this with any early Bitcoin adopter you know. As for your analysis of Shiba Inu, I believe it still has enough room to breathe and move upward in price.
But it'll be a short upward. The number of people invested in it is too much while there is nothing to keep them stay or 'hodl' Shiba. They'll cash out their bag the first chance which in turn makes any movement of price going upward will be very short and unstable.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: August 25, 2022, 06:35:48 PM
After getting a win against Liverpool, of course, the mentality of the Manchester United players improved drastically because after slumping in the first 2 matches they were actually able to win against a big Liverpool team.
and for the next game I think it is very possible Manchester United will get a positive result even though against Southampton it is not easy but for a team that has high confidence and also more quality players it is very possible for Manchester United to win this game.
Manchester united might have drawn motivation from their last match against Liverpool after a 2:1 win but the fact still remains Liverpool was the better team all through the match. Manchester hasn't built enough confidence for the season and secondly Southampton will be playing at home against United. If Hag must win this he needs to build a formidable defense and Midfield before the match
Most of the Manchester United fans are overexcited after this win even it's their right and win against team like Liverpool is surely special one for them but still they need to be calm down because we have to wait for some more weeks as can they now handle things with consistency because in last season they already have wins like this but fail to maintain this momentum and lost few matches frequently which hurt them badly.

Now with the few good playmakers are also coming in Manchester United and Ten Haq is also doing his best which is good for him and team but still we have to wait for development in this team if they play consistently then surely we can expect good results in coming matches otherwise still old story of inconsistency and poor results can ruin another season.
Well, Liverpool doesn't have a strong backup from Arab's money so can't blame them if Manchester United decided to step up their games, buying good players left and right. Yes, Manchester United also have strong pressure from the losing streak so they ought to do better especially against Liverpool which Manchester United know about Liverpool more.
For once, Liverpool can't take the blame here as they haven't had time to get used to this new Manchester United. At least, Liverpool now can make it back as they only had to meet Ajax, Napoli, and Rangers in Group A of the Champion League.
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A little profit for $17k+ buyers on: August 25, 2022, 05:37:48 PM
Bull Trap, Capitulation and all the flag terms are now bored my view is just keep waiting and don't get excited utill we break the 30k. never mind hold it otherwise a simple solution is stay away from the market. For the end of the year i cant see a positive change in market after that im a bit bullish so lets wait untill that time.
Yeah, I saw your post about the capitulation point. Anyone who falls for the 24k price range weeks ago falls for another bull trap. I don't think we could see BTC going to break 30k this year. Seem like FED has indicated they will keep doing rate hikes like this. Up and down, up and down. We're keep going like this, side way till I can see more info about better economy and market.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best portfolio for a $30k fund? on: August 25, 2022, 05:12:08 PM
A few months ago, I'd recommend your 3k fund to ETH @800-1000 dollars. Enough for 32 ETH to set up a PoS node and hold ETH for the long term. Now, 32 ETH cost more than that @1600 dollars. BNB could be a good alternative since they are backed by Binance. You can put half of your fund in it for staking reward and hold BNB for 1 year. Another half, just keep it ready for any good chance of coins going to dip in the market. Look for anything that has the smart contract layer.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Tornado.Cash Sanctioned by the US on: August 24, 2022, 09:09:32 PM
Is that allowed? Cry
https://cryptoslate.com/professor-re-uploads-tornado-cash-code-to-github-for-research-purposes/
"Professor re-uploads Tornado Cash code to GitHub for research purposes
A professor of Computer Science at Johns Hopkins University re-uploaded Tornado Cash and Tornado Nova source codes to GitHub, saying he has been using the code for teaching purposes."

I think under the for teaching and research disclaim might let our dear professor scoot free from the sanction by the U.S. Government. Unless the government can proof it causes harm by simply observing the code which is just a bunch of combinations of 1 and 0.
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best time to buy or wait a little bit ? on: August 23, 2022, 06:12:41 PM
ETH seems more predictable to me. OP, if you still have 50% of your fund to allocate then I advise you should invest in ETH. I expect a sharp downward after the PoS Merge and recorrection after that. Better lay up your orders for the ETH dips.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Solana be the next Ethereum??? on: August 23, 2022, 05:48:54 PM
Without layer 2, no chance for Sol to complete with ETH or even try to mimic the next ETH. If you don't know the difference between layer 2 ETH and layer 1 Sol then I suggest you should research this topic to broaden your view on how Sol works. This isn't taking into account another thing that ETH has miles ahead of Sol in every category.

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is TRON dead? on: August 19, 2022, 07:35:37 PM
No reason for new dapps wishes to deploy on the Tron network. Sadly, this is the real truth Tron supporters have to accept. Mainly because if dapp developers want to migrate from the ETH network because of the high fee, they can go for BNB or Matic. The market of smart contracts has become over-saturated with only one or two smart contract networks making a killing while the others bleed dry. Also, as other mentioned, there is no poster boy on the Tron network. An example of dapp becoming popular and successful at Tron network.
14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for newbie to long-term investing on: August 19, 2022, 06:27:39 PM
A good strategy is to buy when it's cheap and sell when it's expensive...It sounds so simple but why but why are 80% of investors in the red?
This seems so easy but lots of investors still fail for some reasons. Some of them buy while the price is still high because of the fear of missing out. They believe that the coin would continue to strike high and they could still take a huge profit from it while others sell when the price drops because of the fear of losing everything they have. Crypto investment is too challenging and the volatility of the market will test you so you better have strong hands to face all your fears.
FOMO is always there of the unpredictable in the market, low for days and high all suddenly. Many instances like this only reinforce newbies into more FOMO. That's why you DCA no matter what. Whether you're a newbie or not, DCA is the only way to make sure if you made a wrong call, your loss should be minimum. Help you from missing out on the real chance to high too.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: August 19, 2022, 04:08:20 PM
Furthermore they’re planning to sell Casemiro to Manchester United, and I don’t think that they’ll replace him which is another risky transfer from my point of view.
Casemiro's departure will be irreplaceable for now. And his departure is almost confirmed according to the latest update from Fabrizio Romano. It's sad to see Case leaving Madrid. But there's a rumour ongoing that Madrid is considering Bruno Guimares though I don’t think that's going to happen. But I would really love him to see in Madrid. Case will be missing badly in the current season and of course in the UCL.
Real Madrid could always find a replacement for Casemiro. The guy is very old and not much more chance for him in Real Madrid in the next few years. I saw some unconfirmed news about Real Madrid wanting to find a Casemiro replacement, one of the candidates is Tottenham's midfielder, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg. This comes from a tier-2 news runner from England so not very sure but does carry some merit.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest missed opportunity in crypto on: August 19, 2022, 04:00:55 PM
the thing that really frustrates me is not selling my cryptocurrency in 2021! I'm really sick,
and can't think, what should I do?, right now my assets are really down to -90%

Take it as a lesson and experience for us. No one will succeed the first time. Most of us are getting through that together because the market is unpredictable, as long as you are holding the top coins and you haven't sold them that means you haven't lost anything. Try to hold firm during this period, bear market will end and bulls will return, your assets will recover soon. Don't worry and wait patiently is the key to success.
Many people got carried away from the peak of crypto back in 2021. Looking back, that was ATH but back then, everyone thought their coins could go higher. Thanks to the low urge to sell, cryptos could come to that high so he shouldn't blame himself as many others also made the same mistake. We can only learn that as a lesson and try to be better next time, slowly DCA out of your bag if the price is good.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: August 18, 2022, 07:20:09 PM
Although Liverpool did not manage to win any of their first two games, their performances were still quite superior and dominant. So I don’t really think Nunez absence will create a space in that attack. They have Firmino, he is now fit after missing the home game against Crystal Palace and will likely start against Manchester United so they will have that attacking presence and they’d fancy securing their first win.
Liverpool did play fairly well in their last two games against Fulham and Crystal Palace, but they were very far from being dominant, if you watched their first game against Fulham, they didn't play too well in the first half, Fulham were arguably the better team in the first half, though Liverpool played a much better second half, but not entirely dominating; same thing against Palace, though i guess it is difficult to break down teams that set out to defend from the get-go.

Having said that, if Liverpool are going to compete for the title this season, then they must improve on their performances, they have not been at their very best lately, and they can't alllow City to run clear of them, or else the League could be in City's hands yet again quite early. Liverpool will definitely miss Nunez, i don't know if Firminho is fully fit, and with the other injuries they have, they'd need more players to increase their squad depth, but sadly Nunez is going to miss a couple of games for his misconduct.
Sorry, I don't agree with you. Crystal Palace is not a big team, so Liverpool should have won easily against them, but sadly, Liverpool can't get full points and they can only draw at home, and I don't think it's a good achievement for them. They do have to play with 10 men but long before Darwin Nunez got a red card they can't even score a goal. I think there were at least some good chances that should have been goals in the first half but they were only able to score after the red card incident.
The problem of Liverpool now is they hit their player's ceiling, as well as their players, are getting older. Can't maintain good performance throughout a whole season. For example, if you see Nat Phillips like that, you can't blame him because that's his level, can not improve anymore. Midfielders like Carvalho, Milner, and Harvey are all at their level too. Couldn't be any more different or punch more than their weight. Thiago has to accept the fact that he is lucky to be able to play about 20 matches a year.
Now if Liverpool has a lot of money to invest in a new midfielder, they can race in the league with Man City.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Myths that we often hear on: August 18, 2022, 07:04:56 PM
Main myth I regularly hear about gambling is how you feel effects your bets. Which I think is %100 wrong. Gambling isn't something sentimental, you maximize your chances by your own skill, risk assessment, your intelligence etc. And luck side of game is nothing emotional. Its just about possibilities. You try to hit %1 to %10 possibility. People should be more materialistic about it.

What do you mean exactly when you said that “ People should be more materialistic about it”? Also I think you might be missing a little bit of truth when it comes to whether gambling is “sentimental” or not.  I find a lot of people will bet on emotion (such as putting money on their own favorite team). So I think there can be a sentimental aspect in some ways.
I'm sure betting is more sentimental than anything. If not like everyone would bet like a pro gambler and take account of everything fairly. Else, sportsbooks have gone bankrupt and can't expand or we didn't have the motto: the house always wins.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be open to any possibility on: August 18, 2022, 06:47:34 PM
Imagine me creating a topic in 2017 asking if doge coin can hit 0.70$ some day the answer would have been NO from almost everyone, what I have learnt from crypto projects is no matter how stupid a coin looks and you need to get out because its not doing fine always leave a bit behind, I sold all my doge coin 120k before 2021 bull market and left only 1067 Doge coin in my wallet, learn from my mistake.
Of course it would have been no. Who knew Elon would one day show support for dogecoin. This was a rare thing. Look at how many meme coins there are in the market. Look at how many "stupid coins" (the ones you are talking about) there were back in 2017. How many of them survived? Literally none! So lets say you invest a little on all of those shitcoins and only one of them made it while the rest died, you will still make nothing since your profits cancel outs with all those loses you made.
Dogecoin received support and shills from Elon Musk is totally random. No one can predict that so I don't get why we've to blame ourselves for selling it before that event. Same with meme coin like Shiba which thanks to the Dogecoin, people start to pump Shib and think it going to be like Dogecoin.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin - a joke or a way to make money? on: August 17, 2022, 04:09:11 PM
Without Elon Musk shilling for this meme coin, I think the Doge coin future isn't great anymore. No one would want to invest in this meme coin since there is plenty of crypto with good features, smart contract ecosystem, layer 1 or 2, privacy, PoS,... Basically, all the things to speculate and a chance to increase their worth. For Doge coin right now, none of this.
