41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Electroneum a SCAM??? on: December 06, 2017, 09:26:33 AM

My only concern is once the wallet is released the miners and others will want to profit and sell and it could bring the price down to 1cent i am scared and dont want to lose everything what are your thoughts on this should I beat them to it and sell all of my coins?
It would be a miracle if it didn't dump.

Be careful.

You're handing out Electroneum account info that has nothing to do with these devs.
I suspect it's a weak attempt at gathering as much data on your Electroneum account so they can try get access later on by pretending to be you.

Fill in the form but don't add your ETN details.
Be careful with shit like this.

46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The boring airdrop projects on: December 04, 2017, 06:57:59 PM
Because most of them are just here to hack you. They ask for you personnal data and it makes you more vulnerable to attack. You are attracted for the free principe, but 70% of airdrop don't even launch so it's just your data that they want.
Good point.
It's also very frustrating to see details posted publicly in the airdrop spreadsheets for anyone to abuse.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Electroneum a SCAM??? on: December 04, 2017, 04:00:50 PM
They are working hard and they already have huge followers.
Working hard on what?

The sentiment I get from them is they've handed over to hackerone and can't do anything until the audit is complete.
Why can't we see some app development, game videos (not the one's filmed with a potato on youtube). They hardly update their twitter (their response to me was the ETN community only want updates to very important topics. What?).

There's no sign at all of the exciting company they appeared to be during the ICO.

'Monero/XMR', replace with 'Electroneum/ETN', job done!) - not that the Monero GUI is all that great.
The Monero thing annoyed me when it happened.

I understand they had issues, but people supported the ICO being sold on them having their own unique blockchain which they had 100% control over. Now they're just a forked coin. I wonder if they'd have had the kind of ICO success they did if they started of marketing themselves as a forked Monero coin.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Electroneum a SCAM??? on: December 04, 2017, 09:58:13 AM
electroneum is under ICO... And bonuses like 50% are way too much.
Lol.
They're nowhere near under ico.
They're 7x over ICO right now.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Electroneum a SCAM??? on: December 04, 2017, 09:54:26 AM
I don't have their token but I am interested to buy. I am not sure if where can I buy though since based on their website they are still fixing their system because of the security threat or something that happened earlier. Hope they'd be able to fix it soon though. As for the scam issue, I've read some part of their ANN and based on the news, I don't think it is a scam for now.

You can buy at ETN on Cryptopia exchange right now. Currently trading at 6x to 10x depending on when you bought into the ICO due to bonuses

ETN is worth $0 until ICO participants have access to their coins and can trade on the market.
Agreed.
For any token the ICO dump needs to be out the way for any value to be assigned. It's almost pointless buying right now as that price will just plummet when tokens are released.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The boring airdrop projects on: December 04, 2017, 09:46:22 AM
It is very rare to find something of value for free, right? It contradicts the whole concept of Value  Grin

I know I should be annoyed at the fake projects.
Yet I'm more annoyed at how lazy these fake projects are  Tongue.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The boring airdrop projects on: December 04, 2017, 09:44:27 AM

I don't know what's the use of free coins that doesn't have any real value. there are a lot of wonderful projects that aren't free but great.

No value at all other than to be traded on etherdelta.

But they can at least put some effort into pretending they're going to have their own payment card and be working closely with a big bank  Cheesy. A few months ago the airdrops were elaborate, now they're lazy text posts with no website or anything.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / The boring airdrop projects on: December 04, 2017, 09:28:32 AM
There was a time when ERC20 airdrops had these amazing websites, ANN threads and elaborate white papers. Of course they didn't intend to do any of those things - but it was still strangely fun to see the work they put into making these projects seem legitimate. They knew how to create hype and get people interested.

And yet this month there's been an abundance of ERC20 airdrop projects that have:

1.) A boring ANN thread - just a wall of text, no pictures, nothing interesting
2.) No website
3.) No white papers
4.) Thread started by a 1-post wonder.

To the fake devs of these projects, if you're reading this: Please put more work into creating your fake projects so that it's at least interesting to read.
Thanks.

55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Airdrop][Giveaway] | EOS GOLD - EOSG | Wide Community Adopting EOS on: December 01, 2017, 04:43:58 PM
Hello EOS Gold community....quick question? Will EOS Gold be on the EOS Block-chain? Or will EOS GOLD remain be on the Ethereum Blockchain as an ERC20 Token? s2557376. Good luck with technical n community development. Smiley

They were going to fork from the EOS chain in 2018.
Hope they still do, but haven't heard from EOS GOLD for a few days now.

Literally the fucking dumbest thing I have ever read from a Legendary member. Did you fall on your fucking head as a child. Just perfect.

You complain about the forum going downhill but this is how you respond to people? You can just be civil and decent, you know this right?

Guess when your scam is pointed out create yet another thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2481390.0

Why doest it seems you have new ANN thread every day?

There's a new thread because somebody points out the obvious and lazy scam that it is every time. If you're going to scam at least put some effort into it, but this person is so freakin lazy that they've now just posted this same thread yet again, and yet gain they've used exactly the same info as another project (ETHEREUM LITE).

LITECOIN ECLIPSE WHITEPAPER: https://www.docdroid.net/qUxRNMv/litecoin-eclipse-whitepaper.pdf#page=5
ETHEREUM LITE WHITEPAPER: http://ethereumlite.org/files/ELITE_whitepaper.pdf

LITECOIN ECLIPSE ROADMAP: https://imgur.com/265y1Ne
ETHEREUM LITE ROADMAP: http://www.ethereumlite.org/#tf-portfolio

It's all exactly the same information.

Why doest it seems you have new ANN thread every day?

this is the last ann thread sorry for that

Come on, at least put some effort into your bullshit token. Are you this lazy? You can't even create any original content?

So much quietness in here.
Wonder if EOS will be back.

Why so difficult to find dates about this project?
Can't seem to find when the ICO ends and what the platform launch dates are etc. Don't recall seeing it in the whitepaper either.
