121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Greed is bringing loss for traders on: April 18, 2019, 05:47:21 AM
Naturally, traders come to crypto currency with a loyal and considerate mindset
Which is to make profits from 1% - 50%

I.e a trader of 100$ investments wishes to get 150$ (50$ profit). But when the bull spikes comes in; instead of cashing out their profit, Begins to imagine building mansions and suddenly wants to hodl to 3000$

When they wake up the next day and are left with 25$; they say altcoin is shit, that is shit

What can be done to ease greed amongst investors ??

Well I agree, that kind of greed sometimes becomes loss for traders or investors. It is always better to set a target value to sell than to wait for your altcoins to give you 1000% profit only because of your imagination that the bulls will run again on the next morning.
122  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is following the same path of 2017 on: April 18, 2019, 03:11:08 AM
The bitcoin behavior this year is mimicking 2017.
Has anyone seen what I have been seeing? I think the bitcoin is following the same path of 2017 with a slight difference.
If bitcoin gets to the new ATH in December, who's buying the LAMBO with me? Grin Compare April-May 2017 to now and see what I'm talking about!

I don't think that bitcoin now is following the same path of 2017. It's just too early to say because there's no trend and hype at all. I think the rise of the prices now are only temporary. But if it continues then it is so great for all of us. Let's all just be prepared on what will happen next.
123  Economy / Economics / Re: The bulls are back, bitcoin on the way to $5k on: April 17, 2019, 02:28:48 PM
The bulls are back. Who is watching the live action with me?
The cryptocurrency market added over $20 billion in market capitalization in the last 24 hours.
This is the biggest bull run we've seen since 2017. Do you think the market will hold or this is just another artificial pump?

Well I think it is too early to say that the bulls are back again. Let's all just be prepared for the upcoming bull run. Let's all fill our bags with quality coins that will give us huge profits when the time comes again.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Crypto now? on: April 14, 2019, 10:33:48 PM
I'm just curious if you guys still hodling your altcoins?
Do you still believed that we could get x1000 profit if we hodl our altcoins longer? And kindly suggest best coins should i invest this year.

Thanks.

Well yes, I still hold my altchoins that have the potential of giving me huge profits when the bulls run again. And if you want to invest on which best coin I would recommend Ethereum for long term.
125  Economy / Economics / Re: Time for investment on: April 14, 2019, 03:13:09 PM
Any suggestion for things that we could invest and make money at the same time

If you want to have a safe investment then choose only the top altcoins. But I would recommend these: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), Bitcoin Cash (BCH).
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's time to pick altcoin on: April 14, 2019, 02:31:33 PM
I know many will say the time ended, we must have bought before 15 days but I think this is the best time. Before couple of weeks ago, BTC was around $4k and which is why altcoins are overpriced in term of BTC. Now that BTC has gained price, altcoins price has decreased in term of BTC and now is the best time to pick your favorite altcoin because right after the BTC ride, altcoin will also follow the trend.

Yeah right, this is the best time to pick altcoins to invest in that has a good qualities that’ll give you enough profits when the bulls run again.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still hodl? Then we go to you! on: April 14, 2019, 12:32:15 PM
Do you still hold coins and wait for them to grow?
I trade every day and make a profit. I can make a few in one day. For a month, it turns out about 100%
Why sit and hodl coin?

Yes, and I'm proud to say that I'm still holding my altcoins and waiting for them to grow because I know that on the future those coins will give me huge profits someday (based on my research).
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SHIT COINS WILL ALWAYS DISAPPOINT on: April 14, 2019, 11:52:06 AM
I have to come realize that because someone made huge profit from a newly listed coin or a shitcoin doesn't mean it will go the same way of profit for you.

I had bought some few shitcoins and newly listed coins that were making some waves, those coins are currently a shadow of their entering prices. I should have left my money in bitcoin instead of gambling with my bitcoin and end up been burnt. Some of these project have technical issues, which I think will end up killing the project.

We can always play safe with bitcoin/fiat or bitcoin/USDT or just leaving our holdings in good altcoins rather than getting on a rat race chasing shitcoins for possible Lambo, which in effect will lead to  wrecking and regretting.

You said it yourself, you bought shitcoins then you're expecting for good profits? You should've put your money on Bitcoin and not on those shitcoins that you're talking about.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You Can't Be Jobless And Be Participating In Bounties on: April 14, 2019, 11:17:55 AM
Truth be told. You can't be jobless and be doing bounties. You will starve  Grin

My advice is to just see bounties as a pass time and don't be too expectant. Find some other job that gives you money. So many factors determine if you will get good rewards from bounties. For instance, when it lists, the price is out of the control of the team (unless they decide to do a buyback which rarely happens). The price of the token can rise if there is a lot of demand for it when it lists. But most times (since the bear run) the demand is low and to make it worse, several holders set ridiculously low prices just to sell off which devalues the coin.

Another factor that determines your reward is the authenticity as well as the success of the team and its project. Many campaigns have closed down in the past after several months of working on them only to announce that they failed to raise enough funds for the project. Worse case is the team devs exit scam and no one gets paid.

Project owners can also decide to execute their "reserved rights" by changing the rules at the end of successful campaigns. Rules changes can usually mean bounty rewards are reduced, locked, subjected to uninformed KYC checks, or distributed over a very long period of time.

If you consider all this then you will see that bounty campaigns are a gamble and cannot be always relied on to provide regular income for people participating in it. Those that participated in Deex bounty campaign (which ended in January 2019) are still waiting for their rewards (3 months after) and the devs are not communicating any date for the distribution. If you ask them they will say "soon". They have been saying "soon" since January, by the way. I'm not trying to slander the project or anything. I'm just advising fellow bounty hunters to try to get something else to do that will fetch them money and not to rely too much on bounty campaigns for payments.

Of course yes, always be practical at all times. I'm a bounty hunter too with a lot of participation on some bounties but I never quit my regular job as a Software Developer for the company because I know that bounty programs are not just like regular jobs the gives you regular income.

130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you ready to invest now? on: April 14, 2019, 10:42:53 AM
Seeing market slowly recover then it is a good sign that there could be next ATH. So, while crypto is cheap.now, Do you think that it is better to invest now? How ready are you to do it. Are you going to invest all at once or make a succeesion of investment over a period of time.

Please let me know your plans and strategy and how you think you can earn from the market.

Well totally yes, right now is the best time to invest on projects because their prices are so cheap and so affordable. But I'll only pick those projects that has the good qualities of giving me good profits on the future.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Know what token you hodl on: April 14, 2019, 03:46:41 AM
This is a brief overview for non believers of coin hodling

In 2017, a lot of investors bought binance token at 1$ each and then the token amassed popularity and went to 2$; a lot of incidents and it went back to 1$

In 2018, bnb went as high as 23$, a lot sold at that peak; then it went back to 5$ a lot moaned; many bought back when the token went back to 5$

Now we all know what’s happening to bnb tokens

The basic thing here is... Know what you are holding. If you are holding a good project, no matter what the ups and downs are you will always win in the long term. Holders make the most profit.

NB: This are my opinion and my idea; feel free to contribute; then dyor and trade and invest wisely

I agree. Just do a massive research about the project and invest only on those altcoins that has the qualities of giving you enough or more profit on the near future.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you still hodling that shitcoin? on: April 14, 2019, 01:43:13 AM
There are some tokens in my ethereum wallet that have lost value to the extent I don't think they can ever recover even if the bull market starts tomorrow due to the level of competition in the altcoin market. I also bought some coins but can't remember the password or name of exchange i bought them on (thinking it was cryptopia) I didn't bother transferring it off the exchange and most of them were bought around 1satoshi.

Back to my ethereum wallet, each time I see those worthless token I just laugh and continue with what I login my wallet to do. If you ask me why I'm still holding does tokens in my wallet I can't give a reply. Why are you still holding those shitcoins sorry altcoin

Well I'm totally waiting for the price to rise up high again. I'm not rushing it too because I know that most of the altcoins' prices are only suffering on the market that is so bearish. Let's just be patient and wait for the bulls to run agai.
133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: negative views about Bitcoin always come! on: April 13, 2019, 04:11:14 PM
Do many people around you claim that bitcoin is bad? yes this happened around my place.
I don't care what they say, even though I haven't been here long, but I'm sure bitcoin isn't as bad as they think, this is a future technology where when the future comes, we are ahead and they are still behind  Cool. I am sure of that!

Well I'm sure that those people who are saying negative things about Bitcoin are also those who suffer from huge loss. They're only bitter about their investment because they didn't gain profit.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bear market,a blessing in disguise on: April 13, 2019, 02:06:11 AM
Before now, crypto sphere is full of many people whose interest is getting rich overnight and not crypto and blockchain tech, but the present bear market is exposing and already showing them a way out,I guess that is good for us because with their exit, crypto sphere can be restructure.I can't wait to have everyone working together for the interest of crypto and blockchain tech,it is going to happened soon.

Volatility is quite normal on the world of cryptocurrencies. Prices can be high or low at any moment so if the values are so low then that's the time that I'll buy as much altcoins as I can and on the other hand when prices are rising high then that's the time that I'll sell my altcoins for good profits.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Price is not everything! on: April 12, 2019, 02:42:08 PM
Stop thinking about the price for a while and think about the technology and adoption what is happening just now! More and more people are involved in cryptocurrencies, bigger and bigger partnerships are made everyday, better and better news comes everyday and price? Still same? It shows that whales are cumulating why other people who care about the price are selling them their cryptocurrencies for cheap.

For me, as an investor myself, all I think about is the price. I invest on cryptocurrencies to gain money at the near future, not to think about the technology.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in? on: April 12, 2019, 01:01:19 PM
Hello all,

Probably you've heard the same question every day, but I'm a bit confused...
I've got some money to invest, I'm following some coins from months but the prices doesn't change.
What I mean by ,,the prices doesn't change,, let's give ETH as example in the last 2 months the price was between 92£ and 129£ and I don't know if is a good idea investing... Please change my mind and give me some options and opinions please.

Thank you.

Well if you only done some good research about which coin that you're going to invest in, I'm sure that you'll get profit on every investment that you will take.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Take the profit OR hold on on: April 11, 2019, 02:44:02 PM
I have invested in ETH when it was $105. Now it's $176. Will it be a good idea to take the profit now? Or I should hold on for better profit which may lead to less profit too  Grin Suggestion is appreciated.

Well if you think that kind of profit will surely make you satisfy, then go sell it. But if you're targeting higher than that then you should hold it (after all the price keeps rising and rising).
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest only in active projects on: April 10, 2019, 01:22:49 PM
Here is a good source to decide which altcoin to invest in. I would never buy a dead altcoin with no development except Doge. Doge is unique and will be successful without much development.

Source: https://twitter.com/el33th4xor/status/1068856384983363585?s=21

dead alts are:

- Verge
- Holochain
- Bitcoin Private
- Pundi X
- Poet
- Decentraland (MANA)

Well of course! Who would invest on a project that is not active? No one! And also when investing, not just the fact that the project is only active but also has a good qualities that will surely give you good profits on your investment at the future.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you make money from crypto? (Bitcoin and alt-coins). on: March 31, 2019, 04:22:39 AM
I am curious on how people make money with cryptocurrencies these days. Let me hear about your money making methods and perhaps you could introduce us to your project.

I'm also curious on how other people make more money and I also want to know how are they doing it but here's mine: I'm always participating on bounties (Facebook and Twitter campaign, Translations, Signature), Airdrops, and investing on some ICOs.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coin is the best in your opinion? Poll on: March 31, 2019, 03:37:16 AM
the Chinese love centralization, full-fledged crypto-currencies have taken last places, but what do you think?

http://special.ccidnet.com/pub-bc-eval/index.shtml

Well for me the best altcoin is only Ethereum. Simply because there are still many projects that are using its own platform.
