141  Economy / Economics / Re: welcome bulls , Bye bears on: March 28, 2019, 12:11:38 PM
This year I didn't get that much profits only thing I did was holding my investments , I hope all my patience will pay off next year and there will be bull market and I make more profits  Grin

many investors are in same hope only ?? I would like to know what you guys think about next year,

Given the fact that no one can ever predict when will the bulls will run again, I'm still hoping that by the end of 2019 or starting 2020 the prices will all rise up high again. Right now is only the best time to buy some affordable altcoins that will surely give you profits when the bulls ran again so I'm just filling my bag as much as I can.
142  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing in Bitcoin in 2019? on: March 24, 2019, 10:17:41 PM
I've always been watching bitcoin since mid-2013 up to now, and the market/bubble is painfully toxic. I'm not a big investor or economist, and I probably still only have superficial knowledge on how the entire blockchain systems work.

I just patiently watch the graph, and keep telling myself not to invest because everyone tells me it's a giant bubble that will someday pop. Recently, I started to run a few side businesses dealing in Bitcoin as payment methods, but I've never stored it long term and always converted it to cash.

I remember back in 2014 when I first thought of investing in Bitcoin as a long-term investment, and obviously was pressured out of it because everyone kept thinking it was a bubble that was about to burst. I'm starting to think about it again now that Bitcoin is starting to crash - and generally speaking in the past it's done quite well after crashes, recovering and increasing every once in a while.

What do you guys think? Is it worth it to give it a try? This would be my second crypto investment, and I'd be throwing in $5-10,000 at most. Any ideas?

Absolutely yes! It is worth to give it a try again investing on it. It is also the best opportunity for you to buy cryptocurrencies because of the low prices. Buy as much as you can then this time you'll hold until the price rise up and gives you much profit.
143  Economy / Economics / Re: The prevailing market condition a blessing? on: March 24, 2019, 09:57:28 PM
Prior to 2018 , the prices of most coins are very high and so not affordable .
Which I believe could have discouraged potential investors from investing into cryptosphere.
Now that the market is bearish which has seen the price of  most of these coins low and affordable and with this, it is expected that those who couldn't invest in 2017 are investing now.
So can we say that the bearish market drives adoption of Cryptocurrency?
Is it a blessing to cryptosphere?

Yes, you said it yourself. These low prices that we are encountering is a blessing for us. It is the best time to invest for the investors  so they're filling their bags as much as they can so when the time that the bulls ran again, they'll gain so much profit from it.
144  Economy / Economics / Re: If you want to be rich..! on: March 24, 2019, 02:36:32 PM

When someone want to be rich they can't make it possible by working 10 to 5  everyday,so what are the things we have to do to make ourselves rich at the right age.

We need to have more income sources like four or five different fields to ensure our constant earnings even if one or two things get us into losses temporarily.Make your investment as early as you can then only you can start making money and remember to save it.

Well yes, I totally agree on what you've said. And that's also what I'm doing right now. Just be smart and make more income sources for us to get rich quickly.
145  Economy / Economics / Re: All times are good to enter crypto - Tim Draper on: March 24, 2019, 02:17:15 PM
All times are good to enter the cryptocurrency market. - Tim Draper
Do you agree with this guy? All I know is Mr. Draper is a billionaire, huge bitcoin bull and a venture capitalist.
I kinda agree with him when I look at the bitcoin inform of investment vehicle for long-term, not just hit and run kind of investment.
What y'all got to say about this?

Well yes, all the time is a good time on investing on cryptocurrencies as long as you know on what you are doing and all prepared for what will be the outcome of your investment.
146  Economy / Economics / Re: You cannot eat your cake and have it on: March 24, 2019, 01:08:56 PM
There is a popular saying that invest only what you can afford to loose. Some people are making the mistake of investing all their life savings into crypto and other ventures. Some people even went as far as borrowing money or even using their properties as collaterals to borrow money so as to invest into crypto. This is a wrong idea and it might cost you a lot.
Every investment has its risks. So consider the the risk involved by taking each step at a time and do not jump in once.

Only the stupid ones who borrow money or use their other assets as collateral just to invest on an altcoin on this bearish market. People should know that they should only invest on what they only can afford to lose.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking to invest in a couple alts.. on: March 23, 2019, 02:00:47 PM
Hi,
I've got a small bit of money to invest with. I trade these days. But it'd give me peace of mind knowing I'm also holding a bit.

I'm thinking of going with Ethereum. maybe 50% ETH / 50% BTC
Are there any of the top10 altcoins that are currently a better buy than ETH?

Investing on long term for Bitcoin and/or Ethereum is really good. But if you are looking for other altcoins to invest upon, I would recommend these: Ripple (XRP), Litecoin (LTC), EOS (EOS), Stellar (XLM), TRON (TRX), Waves (WAVES).
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum (ETH) is still the long-term investment option number 1 on: March 23, 2019, 12:14:05 AM
The world of crypto and crypto coding has been making strides in recent years. In all projects and encodings, Ethereum remains the most popular investment companion to Bitcoin. It is not surprising that Ethereum has surpassed Litecoin and other coiners since it appeared in the pre-codec market in a very short time.
However, in the past ETH decline and many bad news about ETH constantly appear, the trust of some investors to ETH lost.
You think ETH Is the No. 1 choice of investors?

For me it is still the best altcoin to invest in. Because there are many projects that are using its own platform so I'm sure that it will rise up high again someday.
149  Economy / Economics / Re: Bull VS Bear Markets, How Do You Tell The Difference!? on: March 22, 2019, 01:19:22 PM
It is often hard to judge where we stand in the current cycle between bullish and bearish. The biggest problem with this, is that if you cannot accurately tell where you stand in the current cycle, you will not be trading optimally.

We have put together a short, free, lesson to teach you what we have learned over the years about bull and bear markets as well as our strategy to trade different trends, cycles and market conditions. Watch the free lesson on Youtube here.

I would love to hear your own opinions on how to judge where we are in the cycle between bullish and bearish, so leave your comments below.

It is way to easy too distinguish whether the market is at bull or bear. Bull market is when the prices are rising and on the other hand, the bear is when you see the prices are going down. As simple as that.
150  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell us about your experience on: March 22, 2019, 12:56:18 PM
Friends  Wink
I want to share your experience with you.
Since the first time I got to know cryptocurrency I initially did not believe that cryptocurrency can help my economy, after I did it in various ways to work, finally now I can meet the economic needs of my family.

On the other hand I also read articles that they can also provide loans to help others.

And in this forum there are also people who provide ways to help their economy.

Quote
It can surely help the world economy in the following ways;
* Increase job opportunities as people can work from home and get paid in BTC which will benefit both the employer and the employee.
* Provide flexibility in online payments.
* Eliminate the need for exchanging fiat money as BTC can be used worldwide.
* Can benefit e-commerce websites in various ways.
These are just a few ways BTC can help to grow the world economy and I am sure there would be plenty much other ways which I can't think of right now.

Now, what about your experience? let's share experiences.
May you also succeed with cryptocurrency  Smiley

Here’s my experience on the world of cryptocurrencies: first I learned the how the blockchain technology works and why it is so important on cryptocurrencies. Second, I got curious on how can I get some of it so I started finding ways to earn it and that’s when I learned on participating on bounty programs. And after that I learned how to trade them and make profits from it. And lastly, I started investing. Putting some enough money for the altcoins that will surely give me profit on the near future.

151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do to recover your losses? on: March 19, 2019, 11:46:59 PM
You have a long list of altcoin portfolio that have tanked down by 90% since you participated in the ICO.  What was $5000 is now worth $500.  You are at a loss of $4000 and there happen to be an upcoming token sale that is pretty hyped.

You are in desperate need to recover your losses and you plan to invest in that hyped token sale in hope that you can earn 5-10x.  Would you:

1. Pump fresh fiat out of your pocket into the token sale or
2. Trade off the the altcoins you have for BTC/ETH and invest into that hyped token sale.

Share your thoughts.

If I were you I will only hold my altcoins and wait for the price to rise up high again. And when that time comes, I'll sell it high and get all the profits from it to buy some new tokens that has the quality of giving me profit again on the near future.
152  Economy / Economics / Re: LESSONS FROM CRYPTO MARKET on: March 14, 2019, 02:03:32 PM
After a year, a lot of lessons that we did learn. There are 2 precious things that I think I should remember:

+ Fear
+ Greed

I learned that from my teacher, he said when you buy Bitcoin at 10k, it's then $12k your greed rises inside you and you don't want to take profit and expect more. Then, the downtrend is coming, BTC goes down to $8k, you'll be scared to cut loss, and what'll happen, you lose more while BTC drops to $4k.

So, we need to set up your expected profit point as well as the stoploss point.

How about you, what is your lesson?

That's basically what happened to me last 2017. I'm at 50% profit from my altcoins and I expected that it will grow more but in the end the value slides down. But I learned my lesson. I'm always setting now a target profit for me for every investment that I'll take.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you long on, and why? on: March 10, 2019, 01:50:09 PM
Minus the obvious BTC for the looong term win, I'm going long on:

(1) Sia
(2) Dent

Here's why:

(1) They're both really cheap right now
(2) They both seek to unsettle massive players in established markets. Sia is smashing cloud storage players and DENT is disrupting data strongholds in mobile
(3) They are already delivering fantastic products

What are you long on, and why?

Well the only cryptocurrency that I would invest is only Ethereum. Its price is so cheap at the moment and I'm sure it will rise high again on the future because there are still many projects that are using its own platform.
154  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can less the unemployment rate? on: March 10, 2019, 12:10:25 PM
Do you believe that the adoption of bitcoin in every country can less the unemployment rate? As what I have observed most of the countries right now are accepting bitcoin as a payment method. Is there a possibility that crypto will be legalized and become as a legal job also?

I'm currently employed right now and also participating on bounty programs but I cannot convert my altcoins into fiat that I earned from the campaigns due to low price because of the bear market. All of the money that I'm using right now is from my regular job and I think that explains that cryptocurrencies cannot lessen the unemployment rate because of its high volatility.
155  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't stress too much due to the bear market on: March 10, 2019, 03:04:15 AM
This bear market is not different from the one experienced in 2013-2015 that one lasted a year and 9 months from November 24 2013 to August 24 2015.

We might still be 7 or so months away from a trend reversal, or who knows, maybe recent price action is trying to make a trend reversal. No matter what happens, you have to be clear of one thing: blockchain, even after 10 years of Bitcoin's inception, is still a technology that is in "beta". Decentralized systems are not fully figured out to push in a worldwide scenario, but we are all participating in the initial stages of development. Only like 2,000 people knew about the internet in the 70's so development was privatized but blockchain technology is being developed openly by the public, that's a huge difference. We are suffering the hypes and depressions of such volatile changes in price discovery because no one really clearly knows how much blockchain and cryptocurrencies should be worth or could be worth so you might have an investment worth 5 dollars in the future or 1 million, make sure you choose projects with great vision, leadership, development and market share. Also bet in favour to the small ones, but be extremely careful with small projects.

Lastly, if you ever become too stressed from watching your portfolio going up or down, watch this video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJVdvbrxtHo

calming visuals and soothing music are effective in reducing stress and most cryptoheads at one point will suffer from this hahaha

Cheers!

Volatility is quite normal on the world of cryptocurrencies so we don't need to be stressed. In fact we should be pleased about the prices being so low at the moment because we have the chance to buy some altcoins (that will surely rise up on the future) with cheap prices. Let's all be ready and prepared at this bearish market condition because I'm also certain that the bulls will run again but I think it'll also take some time for that to happen so let's be patient too.

157  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best Cryptocurrency to Invest? on: March 09, 2019, 12:39:21 AM
Here's a guide on how to do cryptoinvesting.

An excerpt from http://cryptodime.net/how-to-pick-the-best-cryptocurrency-to-invest-a-guidline-to-trading/

If you have decided that you want to jump into this rapidly growing market, then there are some very important things that you need to understand. In this guide, you will learn how to choose the best cryptocurrency investment for you. We will also analyze a few hot currencies, to kickstart your research. Keep in mind that this guide focuses on long-term investing strategies and NOT active trading.
The Best Cryptocurrency to Invest in is…
Anyone who tries to tell you that the “X” cryptocurrency is the absolute best cryptocurrency to invest in, probably has a very large vested interest in it. In reality, there are will mostly likely be several big winners in cryptocurrency. It’s like the dot com boom, where companies like Microsoft, Oracle and Google ultimately became blockbuster investments. But you only made money in those investments, if you understood why they were good investments AND you had a reason to keep those investments for the long term. Otherwise there would have been a big temptation to sell them as soon as you made a little bit of profit. If you don’t understand what a cryptocurrency does or why it’s valuable, then don’t invest in it. Many of these cryptocurrencies are going to be a passing fad.

There will be a select few cryptocurrencies that will be great investments. Bitcoin has already shown us the potential. But the majority of coins will fade into obscurity. Since nobody knows which ones will be huge winners and which ones will be epic fails, we believe that the best investment strategy is to have a portfolio of currencies. Putting all of your eggs into one basket is a recipe for disaster. You don’t have to understand every single technical detail of each currency. However, you should read a lot about a currency that you want to invest in and make a very informed decision.    That is the only way to find the best cryptocurrency investments.

Well for me I'm only investing my money to Ethereum. Simply because there are many projects on this world of cryptocurrencies that is using its own platform so most likely it will rise high again but I know that thing will take so much time to happen again.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I won't give up on: March 08, 2019, 03:00:58 PM
I'm sick and tired of negative thoughts people are passing unto each other of here and believe me that won't help anybody ,infact its an act of discouragement which s not needed at all as an investor

- in the past I started with faucet ,yes you heard me right,I never had cash to buy coins so I kept gathering SATs through faucets and at that time bitcoin was at 1000+ per one so faucets payout was still very good and I did this for several months till 2017 bullrun and I make good profit through faucets ,why I'm sharing this is

+Sometimes you have to stay positive to achieve aims, neglect the negative thoughts ,I was in a very bad shape then and today I'm glad I'm able to have good big portfolio but LOOK WHERE I START FROM ,bounties and airdrops don't pay like in the past they say ,does that mean THEY WILL NEVER PAY AGAIN? What have you learned to be able to SPOT GOOD projects ?

-I won't give up because good things don't come easily ,just don't expect that you will make thousands of money as if money falls from the sky ,accept the challenges and you will get better than yesterday.

-people are saying ICOS are bad they don't pay ,same to airdrops too ,please kindly look at the profile of those spreading this news they still have SiGNATURES on there profiles means they don't give up ,you shouldn't too ,believe that things will get better with time and make yourself a better person than yesterday

-Scammers are making almost all ICO looks bad I accept but if we extract the scammers as if they never exist what about market condition? We can't do anything about it as it will take time to recover ,please let's not be weaklings ,let's stay strong ,keep patience alive and keep learning so we can get better at spoting good projects ,thank you.

On this current condition of the market, even it is so bearish, I'm still positive that the bulls will run again just like it did last 2017 so I'm earning cryptocurrencies as much as I can and sell it all with good prices. And when I say "earning cryptocurrencies" it is by participating on bounty programs.

159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The worst story continues again. on: March 07, 2019, 10:36:14 PM
The value of top coins dropping badly again, the market is unstable everything seems to be complicated. The worst scenario of crypto continues again as most of them were believing that this time there will not any downfall but crypto market has different thoughts.

Instead of looking this downfall as a negative, why not make it a positive thing? Take the advantage of the prices being low at the moment and buy as much as you can. Just pick some good altcoins that'll give you a good profits on the future.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how you feel at this point(currently) on: March 06, 2019, 03:09:30 PM
i am feel , this stable point keep for some time, after 2-5 years we can expect huge bull run. near future i am not expecting and i dont think bull run comes.
now no new investment coming.

my portfolio now below 50$ , i am anyway ok. i know this will be rise ...

how about your thought

https://www.bitcoin-socialclub.com/

No one knows when will the bulls run again. But I'm readying my portfolio in case. Earning as much cryptocurrencies through bounties that I can so when the time comes, I'll sell them all for good prices.
