Bitfury sucks are you on crack. It will be just as worthless as these units. The only company to order from would be xcrowd who will offer you a gaurantee up to a certain difficulty and provide much more hashing power. Or cointerra which their high hashing power might be a guarantee for delays.

Those are the only logical options. Cointerra seems it will be the winner if they keep their promise of long term mining equipment it means they will offer some serious hashing power for much cheaper which will make other manufacterers cut pricing.

And which will effectively kill avalon and bfls shit businesses.

I just wanted to report back(Even though most of you are ass holes) That I just got a Reply back from Knc that they are processing my Refund..

Thank you Knc...

Good luck to the rest of you Suckers......

How long did it take you to get a reply I sent them an email yesterday. These units are pretty much going to be doa since most likely they will ship by end of september due to KNCs wording in the  upcomming weeks. All orders placed now will ship in October meaning full shipping will commence sometime right before October. Even if you get them mid September you can make some money just not worth it really.

Best thing to do is wait for the price/roi wars to start between manufacterers.

I canceled my order as well.

Request to cancel sent on Aug 14.  Got reply pending order for refund, asking for further info/confirmation today.

Which email did you send the request too?

Actually, I retract my statement. I see your point, now.
I demand a refund! They obviously aren't implementing bluray drives, integrated UPS backup redundancies, or even a PANIC button!
Ball-dropping amateurs. Let's go pump our money into something less proven and less likely-to-produce.

You can spin it however you want its still ball dropping, but please keep praising them blindly.
1105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: August 15, 2013, 06:39:50 AM
They also dropped the ball on built in wifi or usb slots for wifi cards. Imagine if you have a few of them not in a data center the amount of wires needed, since you will need to be plugged into different outlets.
Amount of wires? One ethernet cable per unit? I can assure you that terminating T568B ethernet RJ45 connectors is not near as difficult as setting up and successfully running even a single mining rig. And that's flat out assuming you didn't just spring for pre-terminated cables. (They're not that expensive and you've already proven to me you have the capability of shopping online)
And how would an internal vs external power supply in any way affect the NUMBER of power cables?
Unless I'm missing something, you're arguing that KNC choosing to NOT implement wifi is 'dropping the ball'

Great stride towards getting that Ignore button highlighted.

If you have 6 units in different rooms your going to need wifi bridges which is not a problem would of just been easier if it was built in or you could just plug a wifi usb card in.

Unless you want cables running from one room all over your house

Honestly this forum is too full of cancer.   Everyone instantly attributes every statement as a scam or as FUD.  All I am saying is, why are more people not concerned with the fact this uses an external power supply?   I have _never_ seen a 4U in a data center with an external power supply.  Further it logistically does not work out with the design of most cabinets, unless you're planning on putting it in a 23" rack.  In any case, you sacrifice density, which means an increase in cost, as space isn't free.  I would also imagine the aesthetics of such an arrangement would not be appreciated by the host.

It's not external, it just doesn't come with it's own power supply.  This is likely due to customs reasons, as lots of Avalon customers has their units held up in europe due to their power supplies.  For batch 3 Avalon had an option of shipping without one. It also simplifies their supply chain.

FSM FORBID they actually took into consideration other mining manufacturer's mistakes and preemptively circumvented them.

AMATEURS.

I don't, it's just clear there are people here intent on creating fear, uncertainty and doubt for their own gain.

I couldn't care less what people buy as long as they research it themselves and can afford not to go into debt over it.

KNC gets high marks in my book, hope you have a few miners coming to ya..  there's hidden agenda everywhere here..  some of the biggest FUDDERS probably have huge orders with them

Yes that makes so much sense. Lets make everyone refund their orders so they go bankrupt and I never get my 100k worth of miners.  These silly FUDDERS
1108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: August 14, 2013, 06:49:02 PM
If I can get something more for it until then why not if someone wants a day 1
1109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: August 14, 2013, 06:24:13 PM
I asked for a refund of my day 1 delivery Saturn, unless someone wants it for 60BTC PM me.

Uhh True auctions have reserve prices. That Price is not set in stone, I will not consider anything lower than 50BTC.
1112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: August 12, 2013, 11:09:45 PM
If I was the Ceo of KNC , I probably wouldnt pay anyone to respond  in Forums either , especially if I already had 4000 per orders . I think this is a calculated choice by their management , sure their listening . Sometimes saying to much can bite you harder . Plus they arent under any obligation to do so . There was never any such promise.

So as a new investor in this technology myself , I made a calculated business decision . We will just have to wait and see . Best advice I can give is use a master card if purchaseing, it gives you 120 days to file a complaint and as long as that country is in the group, you should  have monies back in  24 hours .

The balance of risk vrs reward is an individual choice ...........I dont know of any successfull business man  that hasnt lost up to $20,000  in a venture ........its never nice .......but it does make you battle hardened .........A real key is never risk all your monies in one deal.

Good hunting

Pete

It's only 120 days in specific countries, don't give out advice for the rest of the world.

Correct. The investigation has more to do with financial products and transactions, that is the only concern of this agency.

wrong that statement covers everybody. BFL receiving millions of dollars in funding is a financial transaction. Their statement involves every exchange and company that deals with bitcoin and virtual currencies.
1114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: August 12, 2013, 10:57:33 PM
Just FYI, I emailed KNC almost a week ago asking what September delivery means if it's early, mid, or late. Still no reply. My guess is they used September delivery which might very well be true to lure in people, but if that's the end of September that's pretty much October. This means for them to deliver early September they need to get finished products by Friday the latest for them to test and ship units.

Without them showing anything working, how are they supposed to accomplish this in 2 weeks time? So again bbxx has very valid concerns. Not that they will scam people, but they might be delayed. Or they intentionally misled people with the September date, since most people will think beginning of September. And with no working demo unit, and no word from KNC themselves, this might very well be the case.

I love speculation, please continue!

emailing them and getting no reply is not speculation. I love dumbass sarcastic fail remarks please continue!

everything bbx said is a reputable concern. You dismissing him like fanboys sounds like another to be BFL. Yes we know they have partnered with OrSOC blah blah. End of the day he is right it's 2 weeks left until September. There is no video of a working unit or anything, besides we are on track and ahead of schedule.

If you ahead of schedule when do you expect to deliver in September? Most likely mid or end, but all they have done up to this point is give vague updates about development and progress.

And I'll ask you point blank, exactly how many units do you have ordered?  If none, then just STFU, this doesn't concern you.  All you are trying to do is cause trouble.

I have a Saturn umad?

Nice $10K for a 5U rack! LMFAO, 10K for a piece of metal, a 5u rack which you can buy for $100-$300.

You're not just paying for the case, but the components inside it as well.

If you have the space, purchase the base modules. Ken mentioned that the expansion case was unfortunately pretty expensive; however, you are paying for space, rather lack thereof when it comes to the expansion cases.

Yes i will right away! because you guys aren't suspicious at all lol
