anyone else get a lot more rejects / stales when mining on high intensity settings and more or less zero on lower intensities?

I got 75% less than advertised on coinwarz, for worldcoin i tried 18 intensity and that seemed to work good, but there is no way you should get 75% rejects like i am with this coin even on intensity 20.

That is the orphan rate.

ok thanks

Are orphans and stales still 20%?

this was not. users appreciate us just for the minimum number of rejections.

Join and check.

I'm not speaking about your pool, I'm talking about the coin istelf, coinwarz for example shows say 1000 coins you always got 20% less, same with WorldCoin

What CoinChoose shows is inaccurate. The last pool report I received stated an average of less than 1/15 or 6.7%.

what do you mean? 6.7% stales/rejects?

this is the first coin where the client doesnt connect what kind of fail is this?

mine connects just fine a couple of times everyday, did you think its you and the not wallet that failed?

added nodes in conf file now it connects. It's fail that after 1 week the wallet should automatically find nodes, I shouldn't have to manually add nodes this isn't launch.

1192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOW DO YOU MINE PRIMECOIN? on: July 14, 2013, 07:30:39 AM
how long will it take to find a block and what is the size of the block ?

Size of the block is around 15.65 right now.

Going down at a rate of about 1 per day.

how many coins does a block payout? So i guess we're expecting to find a block a day?

15 atm

so what are we supposed to be getting about 1 block a day now?

1198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XPM] [ANN] Primecoin High Performance on: July 14, 2013, 06:43:23 AM
Wow, on a crappy A8-3520M i started up for kicks, I'm getting about 3000PPS.

how can you check how much you are getting?

Look at primespersec.
use/type the command in the debug window:

getmininginfo

i see that number but how many coins does that translate into? im getting 4052

PPS doesn't translate to a specific number of coins for example:

My 8 core Digital Ocean VPS: 2300PPS = 3Blocks
My i7 Extreme Laptop: 3500PPS = 1 Block

how long is it taking to generate a block? on the i7 core laptop?

I think it took me around an hour to create a block but I can't remember exactly.

kk thanks
