181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason behind the fall of altcoins??? on: February 02, 2020, 01:59:38 PM
A lot of altcoins have fallen and it's been tough years for alts, Ethereum and other alts have hit harder these coins perform only if Bitcoin rises. So what's actually happening???

Why is it that altcoins are suffering more significantly, Is there any hope for a massive pump this year? Guys kindly share your thoughts.

Many says that whales manipulate and control price of bitcoin and altcoins. They create hype that causes the pump and dump of crypto prices. That is why I am right now into day trading and take advantage of the rise and fall of altcoin price. I was also a victim of the last bubble and somehow have managed to lessen my loses since that time.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How To Spot a Shitcoin? on: February 02, 2020, 06:59:13 AM
There is no shortage of coins and tokens in the crypto-industry. How many of them are any good is the question.

Evaluating the economics, technology, and marketing of just one project is hard. There are thousands of projects out there. It’s impossible to come up with a universally applicable method to tell good projects from bad ones.

Yet, somehow people get by and manage to navigate among all the options in the cryptocurrency market. How?

When there are too many things to choose from and the time is limited, people, animals, and computers sometimes use heuristics—problem-solving approaches that aren’t necessarily optimal or rational, but they work well enough in most cases and save some time if you’re lucky.

https://forklog.media/how-to-spot-a-shitcoin/

I would also on how the project and developers answer their investors and supporters in their social media sites and support chat. Legit projects and their crypto normally make it their responsibility to answer inquiries and questions of their users. As long as supporters get updates about the development of the project, I mean real person and not bots, I think the project is ok.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to survive if you lose more than 80% of your Capital? on: February 01, 2020, 04:12:46 PM
As per my perception here is a lot of investor/trader who was comes in at early 2018 or may be in mid of the year. That time was the best time of crypto and ALT coins too. But later on this scenario was converted into downtrend and all coins were falling simultaneously. It was cause of FUD, huge movements in Bitcoin due to whales manipulation. As a result our portfolio was reduced on daily basis. Mostly people were hoping to bounce back market around their buy potion but this was not happen at all.

In that time how we confirmed our loss? When we were realize that market is going up and our coin is not moving we sold it and jumped in running train,
there we confirm our loss.

What was we need to do there was only patience. Because every coin always give you a chance to be survive your self by bouncing back near your buy rates.

Anyways past can't changed. If you are still try to keep you alive in crypto is keep calm, Trust in your choice, and HODL it. One more thing you should be in
a very potential coin, if you are HODLING shit coins, So you need to be brave and jump into a better coins.

Hope this will help you.

I can relate with you as I was also a victim of the last crypto bubble. Hoping that the crypto price would continue to pump, I held on to my crypto eventhough I detect that prices are slowly going down. Now my cryptos has very low value and some even have no value because the developer abandoned the project due to losses caused by the bearish market. But that was a learning experience as I have slowly traded even on small gains and became wiser with the way I handle my assets.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if Ethereum replaces Bitcoin someday? on: February 01, 2020, 02:08:59 PM
I think it is a possibility that ethereum will overcome bitcoin someday because Ethereum provides more uses than Bitcoin does and has better technology. But I dont think that it will happen anytime soon. Bitcoin, being the first in the crypto industry has already created a community that many will support it even with its limitation.

186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Digital currency of Banks can replace the Bitcoin? What is your opinion? on: January 31, 2020, 02:32:40 PM
Everyone know that the future of economy of the world is connected with digital currency, So the Banks are issuing their own digital currencies and this trend is increasing day by day. Will Digital currency of Banks can replace the Bitcoin? What do you think about it? Share your opinions

I think not. The restriction of Bank money would make it limited in use. Not like Bitcoin where it could be used by many because of its decentralized nature. There may be high demands for digital currencies of banks but it will not overcome the demands bitcoin is having right now. Maybe in the future, but that is still far away.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Cash A Better Crypto To Invest? on: January 31, 2020, 01:28:02 PM
Well!! Bitcoin cash is one of the most popular crypto in the cryptocurrency market, as a lot of experts have been predicted on bitcoin cash.

According to Several experts bitcoin cash price prediction the price will go up in 2020 and investing in bitcoin cash gives a better return on investment.

What's your take on this?

I am holding Bitcoin cash for quite a while now. Even when there was a time when its price really dump, I still held on because I am confident that its price would rise eventually. In terms of really world usage, Bitcoin cash's overall goal is to increase the number of transactions that can be processed by the network. Trying to solve some problems with the Bitcoin platform. I sure with its usage, BCH price would pump soon.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BNB become the king of all coins on: January 30, 2020, 02:54:36 PM
I still think that even with the development of BNB, it will not outrun Bitcoin as the king of cryptocurrencies. Being first, btc has a lot of supporters already and is being used by many. BNB is gaining support also but mostly in thr Binance ecosystem. Still a long way for BNB.
189  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Crypto Bull Run is Here! on: January 30, 2020, 02:35:02 PM
Today Bitcoin price growth is incredible! It seems the bull run already started from the first month of 2020! Bitcoin price is 9K USD again, Chinese Lunar year is not affecting the crypto market anymore. The way Bitcoin price growing, it can hit 10K USD even before February! I strongly believe this is the Bull run and Bitcoin price will go to 15K USD before the halving! What is your opinion guys, share here!

This great development for bitcoin. Hopefully, this will not be a bulltrap again like what happened last year when BTC priced reached $14,000+ and eventually reverted back to the $6k level. Gonna hold on to my BTC right now and wait for its price to pump somemore. I'm confident that with the BTC halving this May, BTC will soar.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about NRG staking reward ? on: January 29, 2020, 03:33:59 PM
I also got NRG from airdrop but only after I passed the KYC. I took me some time to sync the wallet but I did receive 2.28 NRG after synching. Thought that was fast and decided to stake again. With that rate, I think staking NRG is a good activity knowing that it is doing good in the market and with high coin value than other news coins.

192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What can make more profit ? on: January 26, 2020, 03:08:01 AM
Joining in IEO and ICO for a project that has a sure potential is a good to buy coins or tokens at a discounted and cheap price. But it is risky because the project might not make it well in the market and your investment will not break even its value. Buying coins on exchange, on the other hand, lets you see how the coin will have value in the market. But buying on the exchange will not give you as much discount.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Problem in trust or correction time? on: January 26, 2020, 02:17:53 AM
One problem can't solve from first, if new investor can't trust new fresh coin why they don't invest in old coin. We several good coin already exists in cryptocurrency even with very low price. Even I don't think there could be a trust problem. All solution is now is the correction time!!

I think there are as many investors investing in old coin than new coins. We have investors who want coins that are stable and have sure returns when invested in. There are also investors who are riskier and stake in new coins that they feel have great potential in the market. it is just a matter on which project has the greatest long term or short term potential.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to avoid fraudulent projects? on: January 25, 2020, 04:33:14 PM
No matter how vigilant we are in our crypto dealings, scammers will always find a way to deceive people, and they are getting more sophisticated at that. So it is important that we do our own research before investing in a project and not only rely on the advice of any crypto reviewer on social media. Self-education is still the best way to counter scam project.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can the price of Altcoin be good by the end of 2020? on: January 25, 2020, 02:23:03 PM
Now the price of Altcoin is medium. If you look at it now, many people are involved with cryptocurrency. Altcoin prices may also be good in 2020 as cryptocurrency is allowed in many countries. If cryptocurrency goes legal around the world, the price of Altcoin may go up. Is it true?

I think this year would be the time altcoin will rise and pump. Many expert reviews are also saying that altcoin season will happen this year. With the development of the blockchain technology and the halving of bitcoin this May, altcoins will also be carried by the rise of bitcoin price. been a while we have been in the bearish market and a reversal in the situation would be a good thing for the industry.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New investors are too impatience on: January 25, 2020, 12:21:43 PM
The vast majority of new crypto investors that I am aware of are anxious and restless these days. Gone are the days when early crypto investors  invest in coins and watch it develop over time, newbies and new investors are too in hurry to make money and many turned crypto investment into life jobs.
The benefits of an investment is called returns which takes years to accomplish so its never going to be easy for those looking for short term ROI and yet fundraising like IEO still brings short term profit for smart investors,i think almost all new crypto investors lacks patience

I think that is they have seen some hyped projects and thought that getting big rewards are very easy. These investors are maybe new in the industry or maybe does not really know how crypto technology works. Because of the very fast development of blockchain and crypto, many just join the bandwagon without understanding how it works.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it still possible to invent certain Altcoin that can be better than Bitcoin? on: January 24, 2020, 03:28:40 PM

As the subject goes, can we expect the newly developed Altcoin that can go beyond Bitcoin?

In terms of platform features? Yes, there are many cryptocurrencies better than the features of bitcoin. Speed, security, other features, there are simply many created to surpass bitcoin's features and functions. But in terms of price? It would be very hard to beat the king of crypto. Bitcoin simply dominates the market in terms of market shares. There are too many supporters of its platform that neglect its outdated features in exchange to its price and dominance.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum set new High in this Year on: January 24, 2020, 03:03:57 PM
Ethereum is About to set new high in this year . Most of the new and previos Projects are on the ETH platform.

Indeed! More and more projects are adopting the ethereum platform. Its ability to create smart contracts makes the platform attractive to crypto projects. And with the upcoming upgrade of the ethereum blockchain, more features are expected of the platform. The proof-of-stake mechanism will definitely attract more supporters to the eth ecosystem. Expect the price of eth to pump because of this.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it just me? on: January 23, 2020, 03:27:59 PM
January 2019 we have more bounties at that time but this year January seem to be different, very few bounty projects shows up, I'm not saying scam projects aren't around but this forum seem relieved from many junky projects like that of 2019, maybe scammers are tired of not getting answers in return? Maybe people are now smarter and scammers are starving? I so wish so 🙏 lol what about you?

The bearish market push investors away from investing in crypto projects. This creates low return from project startups causing also less proportionate rewards to bounty hunters. Scammers get attracted to big rewards so they also shy away from projects where they could generate little returns from scamming activities.
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum About to Break Out of a 2-Year Bear Market? on: January 23, 2020, 02:06:37 PM
Crypto markets are holding steady for another day following a slight pullback from their recent rally. Ethereum is still looking strong but can it finally pull out of its two-year bear market?

https://bitcoinist.com/is-ethereum-about-to-break-out-of-a-2-year-bear-market/

I really do hope so as I have been hodling my ethereum since the last bullish period 2 years ago. I think with the latest development of ethereum that allows proof of staking to supporters, eth would likely pump this year. Its price has stabilized right now and the only way to go is to go up.
