Over 850 millions of people use alipay as means of payment mostly in china and i heard lots about wepay as well, i come to think of it that what if bitcoin was been used in their places instead? if alipay and wepay can get to where they are today then altcoins have all the chances of survival as well. Wepay and Alipay are just online payment solution, crypto can do better.
Real use cases plus real life working products, let these two be your main focus when picking altcoins to invest your money on, do not listen to those saying 'dump altcoins for bitcoin' when you are holding solid altcoins
I think Bitcoin has increase its value relative to altcoins. Its dominance becomes significant because it is compared to altcoins. Indeed bitcoin also needs altcoin to dominate the crypto market. Although the majority of altcoins eventually die, I still think their presence helps in the stability of the crypto market

After the failures of ico and the short progress of ico; it brings a sigh of fear into crypto currency.
Investors are smarter; and do not rush into tokens while bounty hunters are increased thus providing poor contents which leads to no reward
If we consider previously where projects raise 10m$ for just launching app unlike now where Most Projects this year struggle to raise even 100$; and it looks like ieo/ico will die soon.
What will be the future of crypto currency? Does it need regulation as stock and forex ? Or the sequence of struggle continues ?
Now there are news about a possible increase in bitcoin supply; is it healthy for the space ?
For hunters; soon; I doubt we will find worthy projects to promote
As this is my first post in altcoins; I hope I get a lot of suggestions to improve my knowledge likewise
The Blockchain technology is still in its infancy stage if you look at its development. Crypto, being one of the faucets of blockchain is still also in its early development. SO I think there is still bright future for it. All this fears will eventually lessen once the technology becomes mature and there are mainstream adoption of crypto. as for the hunters, they might be experiencing a fallout but eventually will florish later on.

that in the past ICO projects performed very well if they used ERC20 tokens or projects built on established platforms. because it has the potential to grow well and reduce risk when compared to creating new technology. but now on the contrary I don't see ICO functioning properly even though it's built on an existing platform like ERC20. I will not blame the platform because the platform has been built in such a way, but I will blame the developer, Why? because most developers have misused this for crypto schemes to get rich and most project failures are based on the background of developers who do not have extensive knowledge and deliberately tarnish the ICO project's bad image.
I totally agree with you. I miss those days of ICOs run by legit developers with platforms that are unique and have a practical use. Today it is very hard to invest in a very legit project that even gets launched in the market. now you really have to have deep knowledge of every ICOs as scammers are becoming smarter in conning victim investors.

You can either buy crypto and trade or hodl it. If you hodl, you Bitcoin would be the best option if you ask me. No matter how successful top altcoins would be, it can still outrank BTC. You can also buy top altcoins and then try trading them. The market is expecting another bull market, so its good to have a hodl of those top altcoins.

You can minimize selecting a scam bounty campaign by truly researching and having deep knowledge about the campaign and the people running it. Choosing and joining a legitimate bounty campaign is a good start. Then putting your effort and being serious on the tasks required is the next step for a truly rewarding bounty campaign.

I became somewhat wiser because of the things I have learned from the mistakes I made in my trading and activities in crypto. For I while I was frustrated and disappointed with my action but overtime I have learned to move on and be wiser with my actions.

The lives of human have been greatly enhanced due to the development of computers. I think that is why they were invented in the first place. It is only in isolated cases that the abuse of these devices have been recorded but I think the benefit still outweighs the harm use of computers in our daily lives.

Reading carefully the rules will help you have a successful bounty campaign. Legit bounty managers often make these rules so the campaign would run smoothly and participants get a fair share of the stakes allotted for the campaign. Just be sure that the campaign you join is 100% legitimate.

Aside from the factors you mentioned on filtering a good bounty campaign, I always check the credibility of the bounty manager running the bounty campaign. I always join bounty campaigns of manager whom I have knowledge and idea about. There is bounty manager who has a concern with their bounty participants and does the extra mile by seeing to it that rewards are distributed to their participants..

I started my cryptocurrency journey from the recommendation of a friend who got really rich from his crypto activities. At first I have joined airdrop, bounties, and then eventually traded. My journey have made me learn many things about the ins and outs of the industry and the crypto market. I plan to continue studying the technology and waiting for another bull run to exchange my cryptos.

The usage and awareness about cryptocurrencies, especially bitcoin and ethereum, have already gone mainstream that it is hard for it to be controlled. So, it will be indeed very hard for regulators to ban them. Maybe its development maybe slowed down but it is here to stay for a long time.

Maybe the bounty campaign is still part of their roadmap. Making marketing campaign gradually so they can have a feel how they would fare in the crypto market. Actually I prefer to join this type of bounty campaign as I am sure that the market would reach the market as they are already listed.

with the way scam projects are running away with people's money, I think regulation would somehow minimize scam projects. Although I think regulation would be against the decentralized nature of cryptocurrencies. But I would prefer having a regulating body than to lose my money.

The issuance of new altcoins everyday only shows that the crypto technology is developing fast. I think having many altcoins increases the awareness of people which is good to the industry. I think as long as it is legally processed, new altcoins will be beneficial to crypto.

I really hope so. For all the sake of Altcoins holders who have patiently waited for their coins to increase value. BTC is having a steady increase in price and once its price in the market have stabilized hope altcoins will be next.

In my case, I have more than a hundred tokens that I have collected overtime by joining bounty campaigns and airdrops. They are just there in my wallet valueless. At first, I got frustrated. But as time goes by, I got immune and just moved on to another campaign hoping that the next time will be more fruitful.

You have a good observation there. I too only invest in altcoins that has a realistics project and usage behind it. Else I only invest on top coins in cryptomarketcap. With the way the market moves lately, one should be very careful when investing.

I also miss the good old bounty hunting days where bounty hunters receive very considerable rewards during distributions. Big enough that you can go trading with it. But right now there are so many bounty hunters that compete with its other even though the stakes are very low.

|
|
Correct. Instead of complaining about the dip in the price of altcoins, one should instead look at it as an opportunity to buy more altcoins and wait for the time that its price would pump. After bitcoin's price will stabilized, altcouns will be next.

I have been in similar situation like you many times in the past. Transfering from one bounty to another because I was influenced by some false marketing that the new project has great potential. But evetually got frustrated that the project run away without giving you rewards. Sad fact but thats reality.
