It will take forever to buy so many coins so not practical to do. Agree with the posters
saying put equal money in top 15 - 25 coins. Cannot go  much wrong with those.

This seems weekend profit taking or another round of selling altcoins to buy bitcoin
ahead of next week's bitcoin gold fork. Hopefully, should be over by Monday.

I think Litecoin could be $500 or more by 2020. First needs to get in the $100s in 2018.

Bitcoin has room to go higher  next week. Just holding it thru the BTG fork.

Yes, these two are top coins. ETH will go $1000+ and LTC will go in hundreds
in 2018.

ETH should rise after its and Bitcoin's forks and FUD is out of the way.

Nothing will take bitcoin's place in the crypto currencies. Sure, there will be plenty of
 other good coins too.

Using any fiat money to buy either bitcoins or good altcoins is going to be
fine.

Burning coins seems the latest fad :-)  Flik coin is burning 90% of its coins this month too.

ZEN is a fork off Zcash and good dev team so is a safer bet.

Do not know how much it will rise against Bitcoin for sure or not but its price and value in
 fiat currencies will surely rise so hold on to it.

More people know about bitcoin than Ethereum so bitcoin is still the leader
and going to remain there.

Some alts have been recovering nicely in the last few days but a bigger overall
rise probably will start after Oct 25 event. Still a good time to buy quality alts.

It seems everyone is unanimous is saying it cannot reach $1 that I agree completely.

Coinbase addition will be great news for BAT. However, there have been
speculations about other coins being added on coinbase in the past and
those have not materialized yet so fingers crossed.

My favorite is bittrex since it has the most coins trading and it is a nice reputed exchange.
coinbase/gdax is good too and needed mainly for exchanging between fiat and cryptos.

With alts, it is hard to know which ones will outperform bitcoin and for what period.
Holding a core position in bitcoin without trading in and out is a must. Put any new funds
in bitcoin only for near future while waiting for the alts to recover.

Most likely some policy/regulation regarding this will be announced after China
party congress is over. Let's wait and see.

Good summary of what many of the ICOs are trying to do. It is probably going to
get a lot worse before heavy regulations by various country governments kick in.

Is there going to be some other wallet that will support bitcoin gold? Some one must otherwise
how will people send and receive it.
