I think you are doing the right thing because you only have $500 to invest. Just buy one coin and wait until it grows. You can sell it in 3x and buy 3 different coins, $500 each again. This would be a good strategy if you choose right coins.
For me if his budget is so low he should split it for diffrent coins cause if he has time he can get some money by doing little steps, not one big like you mentioned. I don't agree at all. So I made a prediction on Litecoin a few days ago that sparked a lot of conversation on the thread. It was very interesting reading the different thought processes and predictions. So I decided to do the same for Ethereum, however, I think that Ethereum has a chance to go beyond the 2-5k threshold in 2018, if only they would market a bit better. I believe that they need to get these new "coinbase noobies" to understand what Ethereum is and why it's significant if they want to stand a chance of getting above that threshold in 2018. For example a simple alt coin can double in one day or even more but btc cannot do it that fast. It seems to me that it's necessary to make a decision regarding Bitcoin or lightcoin, based on how large the initial capital is in you. The fact is that altcoin with a lower price is more promising for a user who does not have enough money to buy Bitcoin. |
