62  Economy / Services / Advertise on bictoin.org for only 0.03 btc per day! on: June 01, 2013, 05:45:14 PM
For only 0.03 btc per day, you can have your banner ad showing on bictoin.org.

That's not a typo? or it is? depending on your point of view.

The domain currently gets an average 10 to 15 hits per day.

Your banner will show along with a small message that links to bitcoin.org and possibly redirects there automatically after 15 seconds or so.

minimum term: 7 days
maximum term (renewable): 30 days

Expressions of interest welcome here, or PM me.

Can someone link me to one of these Rev.2s please? Cant seem to find the difference on websites between the rev. 1 and 2.
I believe Gigabyte only makes one model of 7950s, the GV-R795WF3-3GD. While it's technically voltage locked, a lot of people are switching to the F43 BIOS, as it runs at a lower stock voltage, saving power and heat.
Thank you, I saw this one but it doesnt mention the rev2. Now this makes sense that its just a BIOS upgrade.

I am the owner of a hot sauce business HotChil.es, and have recently started to accept bitcoins as payments for our monthly hot sauce club and our under construction store. I have been lurking on the forums for several months now, and have recently registered my account. For some reason the total time logged in is not recording my time on the website. I have 2x 6950 graphics cards on there way to start mining as well. If this is sufficient, please unlock my account.
77  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Anyone have local bitcoin experience? on: May 16, 2013, 02:26:10 PM
I don't have any personal experience but I have heard a lot of very good things in addition to a horror story or 2. Locally perhaps you could advertise/sell/promote on craigslist, etc. I have seen ads on there from diff. areas where people are trying to help people learn/adapt to bitcoin. There are also those local newspapers(like the ones given away in chinese food shops) that are cheap to advertise in. Word of mouth is always good, perhaps meetup.com, good luck.
Thanks for the ideas. I didnt even think of advertising in the local papers or craigslist. What were the horror stories you have heard about?

cpu mining any coin currently is 1 waste of time 2 waste of energy. Ull be lucky to pull 0.001 or even less of an Litecoin using cpu to mine with. If you using multi cpu ie x4 x6 x8 or i7 etc then still it will be very low amounts you generate.

If you want to see your profitability look up your mining speed on here http://dustcoin.com/mining This will give you an indication on how much coin and $ you are making

Thanks for the link, i was not familiar with the dustcoin link. Would you happen to know of a calculator to determine the hash rate for scrypt mining?

You can check out this bitcoin auction website to exchange bitcoins for amazon gift cards (almost like real money Wink: https://www.bitmit.net/en/ (I am no way affiliated with this website, just found out about it yesterday). Or sell bitcoin on ebay to get cash.
80  Other / Beginners & Help / Anyone have local bitcoin experience? on: May 16, 2013, 02:11:27 PM
I am looking for some advice and recommendations on how to increase my local areas involvement with bitcoins. Are there any good avenues to promote bitcoin, besides a bumper sticker on my car or getting a vanity license plate? Also, does anyone have any experience with selling on https://localbitcoins.com/ ?
Thanks!
