221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XUN] UltraNote Re-Launch from block 0 1st November on: November 01, 2017, 01:08:41 AM
this is all im getting

Code:
start_mining 4 Xun1fFLim8YemPCi9WJhky44u2gMumTHVJetmLP16Fs8Thwzb8gmc35UUf
McywqLvJC1uQaKpiwmeXEcycDLgRMj4d5nmeZPbstarget account address has wrong format

Followed tutorial

use Just start_mining 4

Code:
target address has wrong format

The command is JUST "start_mining 4".  Stop putting your address at the end of the command.

Mining works for me, I've hit 3-4 blocks.

In general, I know a lot of you are having trouble, but solo mining is very complicated.  It took me months to learn to solo mine stuff on Linux.  So I think devs have done a good job of making it as smooth as possible.  Hopefully we will get official pool soon for people who have not learned to solo mine.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Bitpaycoin X15 Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: October 31, 2017, 05:41:05 PM

What is it Bitpaycoin?
Bitpaycoin is a cryptocurrency. This currency is like the Dollar, but it is only available in the digital world. The concept may sound like Bitcoin, and is actually not much different from bitcoin.

[removed]

Bitpaycoin is not controlled by institutions or governments
Bitpaycoin that uses the Blockchain database is not controlled by a party, but is so open to the public that it is impossible for someone to forge transactions in Blockchain. All transactions are recorded live, transparent, and spread across multiple servers or workstation that running bitpaycoin core or bitpaycoin cold wallet. Those who want to change or falsify Bitpaycoin transaction data must hack multiple location at the same time.

The number of coins is limited
Bitpaycoin supply will only have 21 million coins worldwide, this resembles an economic system based on deflation and with increasing supply coin, Bitpaycoin prices tend to rise, when demand is high and the number of coins that remain is not increased.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL AS THE AUTHOR HAS RIPPED OFF THE ANN OF REGALCOIN

I am not a RegalCoin holder, but this screams scam if he copied and pasted someone else's ANN.  Compare to below:

Dev missing??  I was really hoping that this one would take off.  Anyone know when the last time he/she was online??

Here:

Last Active:   October 17, 2017, 10:12:46 AM

So this project is definetely dead. Anyone else having issues with the BTC/PUZ pair on the exchange? Seems like I can't open the pair for trading..

You correctly noted that the project is dead, why would it be trade-able?

Who doesn't want to mine a coin run by a pump&dumper?

CoinPump.Group

I am happy to announce the opening of CoinPump.Group pre-registration. CoinPump.Group - a private and invite-only Crypto Trading forum will launch on October 10th October 17th.

The launch date for CoinPump.Group was original set for October 8th, then soon after moved to October 10th. Due to certain features and functions of the community/website not being fully completed, we are forced to move the launch date to October 17th. The first pump round Altcoin Airdrop will be available to all of those who pre-registered, before October 15th. (Details of the first pump round Altcoin Airdrop will be provided to members upon launch.) Secure your account now before October 15th, 21:00 UTC, 48 hours before the community will launch.

CoinPump.Group is a 100% community vote based forum. Every group decision will be decided on a fair and transparent vote, deterring cheaters with strict forum rules, an invite-only system, and the very strict rule of only one account per member.

With the best crypto trading content, group profit planning, trading strategies and tips, tools, and much more, CoinPump.Group will be a must-have for serious crypto traders.

Sneak Peak of the Coin Pump Process

Guidelines - The CoinPump.Group Pump Process

In this post, I will lay out the guidelines of how CoinPump.Group works.

The main goal of our community is to plan, organize, and then execute and profit from Cryptocurrency Coin Pumps. In turn, gaining profit for almost everyone involved. For this to work, everyone in the community needs to work together. Those who break the rules by cheating others for extra gain will be banned. For that reason; we are a private, invite-only community.

Basic outline of the steps in which CoinPump.Group goes from planning to profit

Long-term planning

This is not really a step in the main pump planning process, but this subforum is for ideas and suggestions on both long-term pumps (slow and gradual pumps that can last for six months or more) and future pumps (pumps that souldn't or can't be executed yet for one reason or another).

1. First stage planning

This subforum is where Coin pumps are first decided by all of the members of CoinPump.Group. Anyone member can post a topic in this subforum, suggesting any coin (other than the coins in the prohibited coin list) to be pumped. You can also contribute to other topics here by voting on them to be moved to the next stage with the other top coin candidates, or by replying to them with something to add. You can post topics of coins that other members have already posted here, but your topic should include the following:

1. The coin name, basic information and history on the coin (including, but not limited to the price history, the team, ICO history if any, media sources, etc.) and at least one link to related information on this coin (such as the coin's web page, Bitcointalk topic, etc.)

2. Your opinion (the more sourced facts, the better) on why this would be a good candidate for a coin pump.

3. Any other information that may help your case and get people to agree or at least interested.

4. At the bottom of each topic in this subforum, please include a simple list of links to all of the other topics in the same subforum that suggest the same coin. (Until a system to do this automatically is in put into place, the moderators will periodically update your topic to include these links.)

Note: you can create up to three topics in this subforum, with only one coin as the subject of each.

Topics in this subforum will either get purged into the Failed Attepmts subforum (with the possibility to be recovered) after 45 days, or combined with topics of the same coin and moved to the Second Stage Planning subforum.

2. Second stage planning

In the Second Stage Planning subforum, only Gold Ranked members and moderators can create new topics (read "How Gold Rank is Earned"). This subforum is where all the top candidates for the next coin pump will stay until either canceled and moved back to the First Stage Planning subforum, or moved to the Final Stage Planning subforum. Only three coins can be in the Final Stage Planning subforum at one time.

Members in the second stage will post any additional ideas, thoughts, information, or otherwise helpful content on why any coin should or should not move to the final stage. The actual deciding factor on which three coins will move to the final planning stage will be decided on a 48 hour long vote between all of the top coin candidates. Gold Ranked members can create new topics in this subforum (With the same guidelines in the First Stage Planning subforum) for coins that are not in this subforum. Those coins will also be added to the top coin candidates and voting polls.

3. Final stage planning

In the Final Stage Planning subforum, only three coins are allowed here at one time. The top three voted topics from the Second Stage Planning subforum will be moved here after the voting period is finished. The three topics will be ranked from one to three, based on the most votes received.

All members in the final stage can still contribute to these topics with more information, and a final 24 hour vote will be taken to decide the winning coin from the three candidates. After 24 hours of voting, a new topic will be created in the Active Coin Pumps subforum. The topic will include all of the information and posts previously added about this coin pump, as well as the ability to add more information. The other two topics will be moved back to the Second Stage Planning subforum, with the option to re-vote them into the next planing round.

4. Active Coin Pumps

In the Active Coin Pumps subforum, all of the current and active coin pump topics will be listed. There is no limit on active coin pumps, but once an active pump is dead for a long enough period, the topic will be moved to the Coin Pump History subforum, with the possibility to be recovered into the Active Coin Pumps subforum.

Here, members can still contribute to the topics, but you're on your own from here. The goal is to work together and try to pump the coin as high as possible before selling. Of course many members will "cash out" before others, and you should cash out when You feel comfortable. The main goal here is, however, to keep the price rising as high and as long as possible before cashing out. (Read "Tips on not getting burned during an active pump")

Prohibited Coin Pump List

The full list of coins that are prohibited to be pumped will be available on the forum after the official launch on October 10th.
The list includes the following and some more:
  • Any version or hard fork of Bitcoin whatsoever
  • Litecoin
  • Ethereum/Ethereum Classic
  • Ripple
  • Monero
  • Any other "coin" that may upset SEC or even come close to breaking any laws (for example Ripple (not exactly illegal, but still prohibited), due to it being an "electronic token" and not a true cryptocurrency.)
  • And some others
▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔
Free Altcoin Airdrops during the first coin pump round.

Each round of coin pumps will be voted in and become active within 72 hours (48 hours voting period for choosing the top three coins from the top coin candidates, followed by a 24 hour vote to choose the next coin to pump).

To help get CoinPump.Group to a good start and give all of its members a chance to participate in the first round - during the second stage planning in the first pump round, Altcoin Airdrops of one random coin (a different coin for each member, randomly selected from the top coin candidates) will be awarded to each member that claims before the coin pump goes active.

The Airdrop will begin during the second stage of coin pump planing. The amount of the airdrops will be as follows (USD equivalent of whichever coin):
First 5 members to claim - $60 value
Next 20 members - $30 value
Every other member that claims - $10 value
Note: Members must complete the steps given (when the first pump planing begins) in order to claim the Airdrop. You will claim a random coin from the list of "Top coin candidates" during the second stage of planning (the more votes to a particular coin candidate, the higher chances are of receiving that Airdrop). Members also must claim the Airdrop (the steps to claim are not difficult) before the pump goes into the final planning stage (Multiple accounts for any one user will result in a ban instead of an Airdrop)

CoinPump.Group is a community where its users will work together in an effort for (almost) every member to make profit. With an active community of crypto traders, from small-time to big-league, the best trading strategies and tips, tools, combined profit planning, and much more - CoinPump.Group will be the best and most organized community of its kind.

Free pre-registration is now open until the launch on Oct 10th. Register your account now and you will receive your activation email when CoinPump.Group launches. Rank and Invites will be earned through quality posts and helpful contributions (Providing other users with strategies, tutorials, etc.)

Happy Pumpping!

Are there any news from developers?
For example, masternode? roadmap? website?
News can attract more people

Website is in progress, we had one but changed some things. Will be in day or two.
Masternode will be to soon, other things to.

Just relax, we started a day ago.

This has been a pretty smooth launch and having over 400 kH/s on day 2 is amazing progress.  Hash is notoriously hard for CryptoNote to grow, so its going to take a lot of work to keep people from switching rigs away, but you're doing great so far.

sry, but src can not be compiled

Yeah of course it won't because it's not the real (virus-laden) source, and he already said he's not going to release compiled again until he figures out how to hide his trojan viruses better.

"Fair launch" and "No Premine" but:

1) Shady deals with negative trust and wallet viruses that don't show up on most QTs
2) Pulled binaries so that only a few people can mine (those who know how to build from source), letting dev enjoy extra rewards but still pretending like launch was "fair" so that coin has more value later.

Thanks a lot dev.  If you're serious about fair launch, put proper build instructions on your github and release a windows binary ASAP.  Otherwise this is just a shitcoin that only you're mining but pretending is fair.

Edit: https://github.com/tordotcash/torcash/blob/master/INSTALL says to go to the wiki for instructions to build, but there is no wiki and there are no instructions.  Basically whatever 20 of you saw this before dev pulled binaries are the only ones mining it.  Fair launch my ass, dev you're gonna have a great time trying to sell this coin you own 50% of the supply of.

Edit2: Says there's no pre-mine but somehow can afford an airdrop.

I can't figure out if he's just bored or a scammer, so I have no evidence to accuse him of actually doing anything wrong.  But that being said, I have seen nothing to believe that he's serious about these projects.

Whoa how is the hashrate over 340 kH/s for a CryptoNote on day 1 of launch...

231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]BITtask Airdrop registrations on temp hold due to over 2000 applicants! on: October 29, 2017, 10:34:47 PM
it is already closed, you should change the title so no more new members will click in and attempt to apply for this one.

Really....seems closed, but ewerywhere writing that's open, register.....how is it?

Look at the title of the forum thread, it says they had to temporarily put airdrops on hold due to too much interest.

Thats all interesting but I can't register on a web site  Huh

I think if you read the thread you might find the answer  Smiley

Guys the dev has explained this, please read the thread instead of asking the same question over and over.

The website has a platform for storing coins.  Your airdrops will be deposited to your account on the website.  You can request withdrawals from the website to your local wallet if you want, and those requests will be processed once per day.

Dev - why don't you request a CoinsMarkets listing?  Isn't it free?  http://coinsmarkets.com
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PoW][Scrypt] Twitch Coin - Streamer Support Currency on: October 29, 2017, 05:39:17 AM
Make sure you let streamers know there is a currency dedicated to supporting streamers on twitch.

...

**Disclaimer: All Twitch product and company names are trademarks™ or registered® trademarks of their respective holders (Amazon, Inc). Use of them does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by them.**

Using a well-known brand with no actual affiliation seems super sketchy. And you're developing a coin for streamers but have yet to tell any of them? Why would they prefer your coin over the donations they already accept?

As for the coin itself, why the 10% premine? You included nothing about why you're holding on to 2.1 million coins. No website of your own, no team, no whitepaper, no roadmap... nothing but virus reports, really.

I don't make any claims being affiliated with amazon, you've read the disclaimer.

We just launched, of course nobody knows about it yet....it will depend on the interest in this project...when miners start having coins, they can start donating to their streamers and let the streamers know...we only launched today.

yes there is 10% premine, it's partly for bounties, and partly for creating the coin.  If you have an issue with that, then don't mine/support the project.

Most streamers can only accept subs, and donations through paypal/credit card (fiat).

This coin is another option for them, based on cryptocurrency.

Also the beauty of this is you're just offering an additional way to show support to streamers, instead of replacing an old one.  The guy asked "Why would they prefer your coin over the donations they already accept?"  But you dont need to replace anything; there is no need to prefer twitch coin over other forms of donation.  Streamers can still accept any existing form of donation.  And, a streamer can also accept twitch coin.  In this way, your project will be much easier for streamers to adopt, as they do not need to lose any current income.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [NO ICO] Monero Lite (XMRL) - Anonymous Transactions, Secure and Fast. on: October 29, 2017, 04:57:48 AM
Surprisingly strong network for a young coin.  50+ miners and 140 KH/s hashrate across both pools.

I know that sounds small, but anyone who is/was mining early in CryptoNote projects like CharnaCoin, HumanityCoin, SUPcoin, IRD, Intensecoin, Masari etc. knows that the hashrate usually starts out very weak for the first few months.  140 KH/s in the first few weeks is very good by comparison (of that list, I think only IntenseCoin did better, but I'm not 100% sure).
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]BITtask AIRDROP and POS distributed, Daily instant airdrops! Mining live! on: October 29, 2017, 03:54:57 AM
how do i register on the mybittask com website there is only a login option
and in the google doc i wasn't asked to set a password

I think he's going to email login information once you sign up.  Like a sig-up link, or a pre-set account where you have to change the password etc.  I'm not sure, that's just what it seems like.  So let's not fret!

Signed up, hoping this turns into something.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PoW][SHA256] USDCoin - Mine it now. on: October 28, 2017, 09:49:46 PM

238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CPU mining] Yenten [YTN] on: October 28, 2017, 09:20:03 PM
Hope someone can make a pool soon, getting whole blocks is very hard.

I'll repeat again though: new algo with no pre-mine?  Dev if you make this a serious project, this could be a great one with just a little luck.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CPU mining] Yenten [YTN] on: October 28, 2017, 08:51:43 PM
Screw this. Too difficult to mine. CPU started early and at block 50 not one block found.

My friend, I think it is supposed to be hard.  I have found a couple of blocks, with just an i7, so it can't be all that bad.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CPU mining] Yenten [YTN] on: October 28, 2017, 08:26:10 PM
Is there a way to check immature balance on the Linux daemon?  getunconfirmedbalance doesn't seem like the right command.
