21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Why such high fees in ETH? on: August 26, 2021, 04:32:11 AM
What's going with gas fees? After the London fork, the gas fees only went up. They raised gas limit, and the blocks are half empty, even 5% - 15% filled, but gas fees are through the roof! It's not about limited capacity right now, yet it's very expensive. What is reason for that?

And what is minimum gasused multiplier?

23  Economy / Service Discussion / Need advice on lending platforms on: February 21, 2021, 03:47:16 AM
Need advice on lending platforms. I have to borrow FIAT, putting cryptos as collateral. I need information on how the platforms work.
You must know about these or possibly others: blockfi, aave, anxio.io, bitcoinsuisse.com, bitfinex.com, kava, crypto.com, nexo.io, celsius.network.

I need information:
- Is it available for EU-citizens
- Does it require KYC
- How long to get verified
- What stable coins they offer
- What cryptos they support
- What is rate in %
- Initial LTV %
- Liquidation LTV %
- Do they have custom LTV?
- Time to withdraw
- Maximum of FIAT that can be borrowed

I will pay for quick consultation over Telegram audio or written report. You can make 10-100 dollars quickly if you know all about lending platforms. If you have experience with just one or two platform, send a message too.

20% in Euro of Crypto value.

This is not clear at all.
Math tells that this 20% is not the interest.
Then what's that? 20k EUR is 20% of your crypto holdings worth, meaning that you plan to put on escrow crypto that today worth ~100k EUR?

Also the way the fiat is transferred needs to be also cleared up, but that would be the second point. First you have to prove you have plenty of collateral.

That's exactly what I mean. I put about 100k€ of crypto as collateral. Transfer as normal SEPA transfer. 100k in crypto just in case crypto price goes down.

Coins as collateral, 2BTC, 5000 Tezos, 80 ETH, some LTC and cardano, total price of all crypto in today's price 100k€.

Errr the tezos comes to €15k in xtz (round up)
€20k in eth
€20k in btc

You might be interested in looking at defi if you can't get anything here. The 5% interest rate seems quite low to try to long the euro but you might find someone who can take the deal... Defi interest has a rate of around 3% max.

Which DeFi platform would be best for this?

How do you want to receive the euros? Bank transfer?
I could provide that

EDIT: saw the SEPA

Works for me

Who would be the escrow?

Did they change SEPA deposit bank again?

Now IBAN is SI56070000002199468

When did it happen? There is a news from 12th Feb 2015 about new banking details, but they don't mention IBAN nor other details.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLAM] CLAMS, Proof-Of-Chain, Proof-Of-Pearl, Recent Mandatory Update on: January 05, 2015, 11:59:03 AM
I don't have skills to check the source myself. Since there is a risk BTC from the wallet I'm still using could be stolen, it's not worth the risk for me.

It's good to be skeptical. If you find the specific private keys which have Clams to be dug you can export those and delete them from your BTC wallet. You can claim the clams at just-dice or by importing the keys into a clam client running on your computer. So there are ways to insulate yourself and your btc.

I still use the same addresses and private keys that have CLAMS distributed to. Using a different address for each transaction is very troublesome and annoying, because you need to back-up every single one of them.

I use only a couple of addresses, they are all back-uped and I don't have to buck-up the wallet or private keys every time I receive coins.

You can tell that CLAM creators don't care about this or created the system to steal coins, because it's easy to verify owning the address with a signed message without requiring the private keys. But they want your private keys.

I made a SEPA deposit over two days ago, still haven't received it. Nearly always I get the money in one business day. They haven't replied to my support ticket yet.

EDIT: Deposit arrived.
