42  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitstamp - wanted to withdraw money and was hit with these weird KYC questions on: May 01, 2014, 01:57:26 PM
Done with the same process recently. Got the KYC after depositing a small amount of around 300 euros. Replied to every question, giving my salary receipts etc.

How long does it usually take for the process to finish for those of you who already did it?
43  Economy / Exchanges / Re: www.BITSTAMP.net Bitcoin exchange site for USD/BTC on: April 27, 2014, 02:22:34 AM
Today I received a message about a failed deposit to BitStamp. It was a SEPA transfer from a Finnish bank S-Pankki. I checked the IBAN account number and it is indeed correct.

It took about 48h for money to come back to the originating account. It was a 1xx euros. The reason for returning funds says: "Tili lopetettu", which in English means "Account closed".

Anyone else have similar problems? It is rather strange as it is a deposit to BitStamp, not a withdrawal.
any return fee bank charged to you for this transaction

There were no fees.

45  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Ukyo.Loan - Paying 0.05% daily. on: April 03, 2014, 08:42:09 PM
Ukyo is finishing making the claim portal. I tested it. At the moment there is a simple looking but working claim function and a simple "message board". You enter email, nickname and password, also put in the signature made from your BitFunder public bitcoin address. Then you can login into the claim portal where you see the number of shares, the date last dividend was paid and past due dividends owed to you.

That's great that this is almost finally done, but really it means very little. Just because there is a portal doesn't mean we are going to see any of our coins.

I really want to know what the coins are investing in and when we can expect to hear *any* news.

Frankly, I'd like to hear something from ukyo directly. Does anyone know how I can contact him since he has stopped responding to PMs. I'm not going to harass him, I just want to find out what is going on.

In the meantime, I have a meeting scheduled with my lawyer to talk about next steps. I really rather just talk to ukyo directly, but he is making that incredibly difficult and it might end up that using lawyers are the only way. I'm still willing to be patient. I just need some real information.

Come to irc, freenode, channel #bitfunder, Ukyo is frequently there and answers questions. I have had several chats with him.

47  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] IceDrill.ASIC IPO (235 Thash Mining Operation powered by HashFast) on: March 11, 2014, 11:44:29 PM
Why DeadTerra's sig is still [IceDrill.ASIC the 500 Thash mine powered by HashFast]?

It's not 500 Thash.

-Also what will be done with the income that is now generated?

-How much will be paid through dividends, and how much will be reinvested into buying more mining hardware?

-How much hardware can you expect to get due to late delivery?

Original plan was 25% reinvested, but it's so long and so much changed, so what's the plan now?

Is #mtgox open to everyone? I'm an IRC noob and can't seem to register...

You have to have a registered nickname and then identify yourself to nickserv.

I have few bitcoin stuck at weex too and haven't posted at lophie's thread. I'm sure there are a lot of others too. The total could 2,000BTC or more.

I guess we'll see later. Notice that next Monday we'll get instructions, not refunds. Refunds will probably happen much later.

Hey! How long will the LTC wallet maintenance take? It's been 2 days now.

Do LTC withdrawals and deposits work now?

53  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTC-E.com exchange Bitcoin, Litecoin, Namecoin <-> USD\BTC (fee 0.2%) on: November 26, 2013, 08:18:15 AM
So, I opened an account, submitted my docs, and got 'authorization' e-mails.

Wife and I live on different continents - if she wires money to my BTC-e account, from a US bank account solely in her name, is there ANY prospect of this going through?

Am I the only person that is 'authorized' to wire money into this account?
Thanks.

If another person sends money, they will put 1 month money hold on you, or worth. It will also happen if you send money before getting verified. Heck, they even put money hold on verified accounts now.
54  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Graet.Loan - Paying 0.05% interest daily on: November 21, 2013, 03:53:39 PM

Comparing with the public list, only 4 balances match redeem requests. If ru0chen (position 6) is typical,  this list shows balances at time of redeem request, but shares have subsequently been sold. ru0chen is listed as requesting 2000 shares redeemed, but only holds 500.

I am on the list, and the requested amount is different from what I have now. I also sold some shares after the request, but not much. I still want to redeem all of the shares I own. The shares I sold were below face value, so the buyer hopes to gain a little bit extra in addition to the dividends.

I believe that there will be more redeem requests, especially if btc continues to go up in price.

I'm fine with direct shares, and I don't need dividends every day. Once per month would be totally OK for me. That way Graet won't have to send dividends to 100 or so addresses daily.

Trading can also be implemented with direct shares. Maybe with PMs between buyer and seller, then directly through Graet, in that case he can charge a fee (for example 0.5% or 1%). And yes, that would be totally OK, since BitFunder charged 1% too. So if you decide to make shares tradable, Graet, it is completely justified to charge a fee.
55  Economy / Securities / Re: [bitfunder] RentalStarter - A Midwest Real Estate Investment Company on: November 18, 2013, 11:15:05 PM
With the suspension of stock on Bitfunder, we feel it now best for all shareholders to now begin the process of transferring stock to our DIRECT system.

To transfer , please send a SIGNED MESSAGE from your public ID to BrandonSchlichter@gmail.com (If you have not done so already) and note your Bitfunder user name & pulic ID in the email.

Then transfer your shares to "RentalStarter" on Bitfunder.

Dividends will be delayed temporarily until we get stock transferred over to our direct system.

Our cutoff date is Dec 5th for the transfer to direct shares. All shares not confirmed & sent back for direct conversion will be considered forfeit and split between remaining shareholders based on holdings as of December 6th 2013.

Do I transfer the shares right away after sending an e-mail? Can you see the user name that transferred shares to your account on BitFunder?

Take your time Ukyo, I know it's a difficult time for you. I don't want you to burn out and make some serious mistakes.

Could you verify me if it won't take too much time? JMC-580163. Just click verified, all my documents are good.

I think the shares should be moved to HaveLock, as many others did it with their shares.
