81  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Asset Exchange Marketplace + Rewritable Options Trading on: June 29, 2013, 11:37:23 AM
Why there are still no AM dividends this week? I'm missing some investing oportunities.
82  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] Community Exchange w/ Options, DRIP, 2FA, API, CSV, etc. on: June 27, 2013, 11:50:09 PM
Trade history only goes to 2013-05-29. Why is that? And what was the price before that?
83  Economy / Securities / Re: [bitfunder] RentalStarter - A Midwest Real Estate Investment Company on: June 27, 2013, 09:34:10 PM
And other contradicting information is that you say on your webpage "We will be issuing a total of 200,000 shares with a approximate value of $1.25/ea (Or .01btc) –  (Total of $250,000 of investment) in blocks of 10,000 shares per generation."
84  Economy / Securities / Re: [bitfunder] RentalStarter - A Midwest Real Estate Investment Company on: June 27, 2013, 09:24:19 PM
In the description on BitFunder it says your first round is 50,000 shares, but in details page there are 70,000 issued shares. So you decided to sell 70,000 shares in the first round? And the second round will be 20,000 shares?

Also, what is the timeframe after you collect those $70,000? When will you buy property? How long after that to see dividends?
85  Economy / Securities / Re: [AMC]-The Official Active Mining Cooperative Discussion on: June 27, 2013, 06:55:16 PM
So how many shares are issued now? Is that 40,000,000 + 2,000,000 (being issued now at bitfunder) + 2,000,000 (being issued now at btct)?
86  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Block Erupter USB Sales [New Sales Policy with New Price] on: June 24, 2013, 03:27:18 PM
I don't understand all these people who complain about them "overpriced" and "robbery".
If you don't like the price then simply don't buy. There is no lack of demand even at this price, so nobody cares about your complaints. Obviously AM reaps the benefits of no competition, and that's okay, because the price is determined by market, not production costs. You don't expect friedcat to be marxist even though he is from "communist" China. Smiley

Yes, no one forced people to buy them. But people are stupid and will be pissed off at you once they'll realize they can't turn profit on their 2BTC USB-sticks. I already wrote about this before that they should decrease prices in steps not to piss off buyers. For example price decrease of 0.1BTC every week (and a bit lower initial price) right from the beginning would not piss off so many people as it does now. It probably still wouldn't be profitable, but at least less people would be angry, therefore buying more in the future and even with decreased prices the revenues still can be as high due to increased volumes.

Of course you can enter the numbers into https://bitclockers.com/calc (mining calculator) and see for yourself.

An estimate on difficulty growth is not so hard to make either. Just look at hashrate increases from last weeks and enter the percentage. But I as already said, people are stupid, and for their own sake (AM) should not piss off the buyers so they will buy more products IN THE FUTURE.
87  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Is Avalon mining with customer hardware? Answer is here. on: June 18, 2013, 02:00:22 PM
Right at this moment total hashpower is over 150TH/s. With AsicMiner 20TH/s it's possible that Avalon is hashing right now at around 70TH/s. They might have less, something like 20%, but it's not impossible that they have over 45% if they have all the batch 2 and 3 and a lot of chip orders delivered, assembled and hashing.

Batch 3 promises on delivery quantity and time schedules coincide with recent hash rate increases (last 2-4 weeks).
88  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Is Avalon mining with customer hardware? Answer is here. on: June 18, 2013, 12:53:22 PM
I'm not sure how much electricity costs in China, but I think it's a lot cheaper than in the West. One factory can easily consume 1GW depending on what they do. One large warehouse is enough to set up all the hardware. Or they might be using several locations with 10 or so GW. That's not that hard to pull off considering how much money they can make.

If recent increases in hashrate don't come from Avalon, then who else has almost exactly the same amount of hashing power they promised to deliver almost exactly the same time when they promised to deliver?
89  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Is Avalon mining with customer hardware? Answer is here. on: June 18, 2013, 12:22:04 PM
Looking at the hashrate, and knowing who ASIC hardware producers are, it looks like Avalon currently has about 50% of total hashrate. They are sneakily distributing hashing power in many different pools trying to conceal the fact.

According to my calculations at this time they have made at least 1500BTC on customers' hardware.
90  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: June 14, 2013, 08:05:43 PM
I tried myself to create a list with AM shareholders based on yesterday's dividends:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AtqphFCP56ordGVCakJxSU90MlB4MlBkZENya25pS2c

I got > 398k of the 400k shares. If you find any errors please let me know!

Why does it say DeaDTerra PT has 12,876 shares when in reality there are 18,845 shares listed on BitFunder?
91  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: June 11, 2013, 10:04:20 AM
Guys sorry to ask dumb question , What is the difference between owning AM PT share & direct share in terms of price , trading the shares & dividends. Thanks for bearing with me  Embarrassed

There is a thread explaining these things, anyone can post the link?
92  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: June 09, 2013, 12:13:30 PM
Interesting, $10,000,000 worth of BTC sold on a quiet Sunday morning. I have some coins and AM shares, bought mostly at $100-120, but I'm in for long run (5+ years), so crashes come and go, I'll worry only if there is real danger like bitcoin security weekness, hacking, slow adaptation or goverment ban on bitcoin.

Yes, repeat that and breathe deeply instead of selling and buying 20 dollars lower.

It might go down further 20 dollars, or not. I'm not going into short term speculation, too much hassle for me. I might sell some in a year or two if the price is right and I need a new car.

No kidding, screenshots are proof of nothing. When it comes to 'proof' the rule is do NOT use screencap, always cap an 'analog' environment.

What's analog environment in this case?
Shitty phone camera.

How is it any better than a screenshot when you can take a picture of a photoshopped image?

Since there are almost 400,000 shares on the list it mean PT shares are included. But there are no transfers with around 20,000 shares (btct.co and bitfunder). So it must mean the pass through exchanges don't get dividends in one transfer, but multiple.

Which of the transfers belong to pass throughs?

Hint: On the passthrus, you can see how many each hold (BF/BTCT). Check out the G Doc listed above to see which address that holds that number of shares. Presto...

How does it work? Does AM make one big payment to pass throughs and the pass through makes small payments inside? Or AM pays dividends to each share holder inside of a pass through?

Edit, while typing an answer appeared by burnside. Does that work the same way with BitFunder?

98  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] 5xASICMiner Erupter Blades on: June 07, 2013, 12:07:00 AM
Because you could photoshop screenshots in fucking paint *sigh* Its a hell of a lot harder from a camera, especially a low quality one.

1. Photoshop
2. Take a picture with a camera
3. Huh
4. Profit

Something like that?

100  Economy / Securities / Re: [Investment fund] Gamma Bitcoin Fund [Closing] on: June 06, 2013, 11:10:56 PM
I'd imagine many would be happy to participate on trust so long as there is the balance of regular status/strategy/forecast reporting and an occassional 3rd party audit of the fund(s). Perhaps even a fund charter, governance and voter rights.

Would you consider such structures and protocols?
Yes I have always and will always support transparency and listening to the investors voices.
The problem is how to set it up.
//DeaDTerra

What exactly do you want to set up?
