Due to security reasons of the funds and the whole group-buy, there will be no refunds until the batch cannot be filled in any way and i decide to refund everybody. The maximum time a batch can be open is 6 weeks. In case avalon stops selling chips, all collected bitcoins will be transferred back to the senders.
What is that suppose to mean? We have to wait 6 weekst to get refunded?
This is relative to the order before batch #2 was filled. So what about batch 2 ? We want refund and other gbs are already refunded. |

Alright guys, got some good news, here's the two big ones.
1. chips from wednesday arrived just fine, they are being split/packaged for shipment.
2. we are going to open refund for all orders, not just june 1st/15th or what not.
expect more detailed update via newsletter later tonight.

Avalon said that "They will start shipping chips from 4th of September" is there any news about that? They really sent? How long will it take their arrival?
If Steve gets a tracking number, he will tell us asap i suppose. No other valid proofs of chips shipped. thanks for the reply |

My vote depends a lot on if its possible to get a partial refund on the boards ordered or not, and if possible how much. Sorry if it has already been mentioned, but i cant find it anywhere.
It is possible, but not at this moment. For me the time does not matter for the decision, the amount refundable however does. If close to all refunded I'm voting for refund, if close to nothing for the hosting option. If in the middle i have no idea  Let me clarify that by asking a refund, all the costs of the chips in batch 1 will be fully refunded... So no refunds for batch 2? And one more question i am not in neither of batchs i ordered from your website. Is there any chance to refund mine or not? thanks Website orders qualify for batch 2 since there was still no website in May.. However, you can be refunded by someone else. Lots of people still interested You mean selling them right? Nah it is not a logical move i am waiting for my miner  Keep us updated mate thanks! |

It is possible, but not at this moment. If we want you to host our device our shipping cost will be refunded? |

I'm a little unsure what is being said here.
If I say no to the refund, my paid for assembled miners won't be sent to me for 3 months?
Or will I get my assembled miners ASAP?
Whichever you wish. I was just suggesting to start the miner myself and send you the bitcoin instead of the miner (at first). Sending the miner takes time and paperwork at customs upon exiting the country. Seems so good! Since i don't have a space to settle them in please detail this project steve |
