GUIMiner might be great for newbies but you have MUCH more control with CGMiner.
I'd take the time to learn to use it. Much more stable and better for your GPU.

Use extra flags, but generaly leave GUIminner and try CGminer. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=117221.0Do like they wrote, make OC of GPU for LTC. I had that same problem at the beggining, now I have 745 khash on 7970. Dont forget in CMD : setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 If i try to mine another coin apart from LTC i get proper kHash rate in site ^^ |

Or check how many stales you have. If you have more than 2-5% - change config.

I solo min when diff is low cause if your lucky you can find a lot of blocks and keep all the coins. Pool is just a guarantee pay out based on the diff and average of the hash/shares. I've also found that coins with low block rewards are better to be pool mined, esp if there are no superblocks.
While solo mining you get paid out instantly in your wallet? |

To those with the GPU rigs, at the moment our block and transaction verification code is CPU, although we are looking at being about to push some of this work over to the GPU pipes to make the process more efficient. Whether that's at a testable point during the beta, or after the production is switched I'm not sure, but we will continue to run the test network post-production anyway.
The Android/iPhone wallets will be a while off (unless someone decides to write one before we do), but its useful to know who has devices they could test with, so thanks for providing the info.
Anything else anyone wishes to know?

Sorry, something doesn't look right. It says my 1100KH/s, can make $14.00 per day, mining WDC. I don't think that's right, that makes it ~250% more profitable then BTC...
this is correct, although its only based on the low difficulty and not the large number of orphans and endless new blocks Yeah, anyone know where I can get data for stales, % efficiency, etc so that I can take that into account?
