It's been said recently that ethereum has fallen drastically because some companies have sold thousands of eth after ICO. At first I believed it. It sounded logically. But now I'm almost sure that this is not the main reason.  Seems like that ethereum is being manipulated. We'll never know the truth, I guess.

Ethereum's increase and decrease was unstable, but this was still safe.

I also feel like you. If the price of BTC drops, all the altcoins also decrease. But ETH is proportional to BTC. BTC is king of crypto, ETH is king of ICO. So these two must be linked together.

It's all about time bro! Nobody knows what happen and what happening? ETH price is at lowest of their history but it is called market! I think it is part of the crypto, ETH is just struggling. Ethereum price is not proportional Bicause Bitcoin is a old Daddy and he rules. When BTC tuned bad - almost all altcoins will be tuned worse - that is rule, and it happiend again and again, but we do not learn anything.

Now the downtrend and all the crypto-currencies are falling in price. But there is a positive moment in this! If now the Ethereum cost 1400$ I would not be able to buy even 1 Ethereum. But now the price of the Ethereum is  300$ and I can buy them three! And it makes me very happy))

I really taught this year was for Ethereum but what happen? I'm so disappointed holding it. Why did Ethereum go with btc flow? Everytime btc falls it falls also. I’m rooting for it since its is an open-source, public, blockchain-based distributed computing platform and operating system featuring smart contract. If the erc20 token using it has high price then why is ethereum price not directly proportional?

Maybe Ethereum is adjusting prices proportionally, and there is no other problem except that it was too big a increase last year. And maybe Ethereum's supply will be a serious problem in the future.
