God I almost wish any discussion of the Palm Beach Cult was prohibited. That pyramid scheme of a group brings absolutely nothing positive to the world of crypto, especially with everyone speculating on their picks and attempting to convince people they have secret information regarding their picks.

Do not get caught up in a pump n dump. Chances are if you see a coin that has 80-100% gains or higher, you've already missed your chance to make a profit. I've made the mistake a couple times of buying at the peak then desperately trying to sell before I completely lose my money.

That said, if you see a coin that you think is about to explode, by all means go for it. I missed out on huge pumps like Unobtanium and BCH because I never pulled the trigger even on a small transaction.

I wouldn't trust any sort of profit calculation at this point. There's still a lot of controversy surrounding BTG what with the hidden fees and other shady things. It could still end up nothing more than an immediate dump that never recovers, so I'd wait a while to see how things play out.

I realize that "recurring comments" can be an issue, but some of them do actually serve a purpose. In this ANN, for example, I'm interested to see if the dev is active and confident enough to respond to my question. There ARE other coins/tokens targeting game credits and other game-related markets, so I want to see if this one in particular has any features or partnerships that might set it apart. And the lack of any information (website, whitepaper, roadmap) makes me very wary that this might be a token that gets dumped immediately, so again I'm just trying to judge whether it's worth my time to follow this project and attempt to get in on the airdrop.

Anyway, I'll aim to be more focused with my question in the future; I don't want to end up disregarded as some spammer, after all.

Without a website, whitepaper, or roadmap there's not a lot of information here... what makes this token different from all of the other ones already targeting the same market?

Interesting concept, using tokens to make yourself more visible to potential dates... I do like that you're anti-discrimination though, so I don't feel bad about supporting this project

Sounds like now's a great time to stock up on some TIX! Hopefully the testnet will give people an idea of the real-world applications this coin can have.

The time to convert to BCH was a few days ago, but now I think the flow is heading back into BTC. It will be interesting to see what happens to BCH as the dust from the past couple days begins to settle

Today was certainly a rollercoaster of emotion for all BTC and BCH investors, but I think it's pretty clear that BTC is going to win out and continue to grow. Even since the time of your post BTC is back up to ~$6.3k, and I think it will continue to go back up though perhaps not as quickly as the past couple weeks.

Mostly 1-3, though my goal is eventually to convert at least a portion back to fiat. I believe in BTC, but I'm not ready to go in 100% and risk losing everything if the bubble should happen to burst.

But really, take everything you read regarding a specific coin with a grain of slat. Lots of accounts on here exists only to praise/attack certain projects. Do your own research when choosing investments.

I want to give EtherDelta a try, but the interface is pretty off-putting. I feel like if I can get used to it there will be many more opportunities for profit given the number of tokens listed on EtherDelta vs bigger exchanges. Also not needing to register and send them documents is pretty nice.

Initially I had been looking at Kraken and Poloniex but I read too many things about problems getting orders through and some other issues their customers had experienced so I went with Bittrex instead. I've had no problems at all so far, though I've been trading at pretty low volume and have yet to make any withdrawals. Still, I really like all the information they provide and how it's all laid out.

BCH is looking pretty strong right now... An investment in BCH 2 weeks ago would already be worth more than twice as much today

This is definitely a big problem in the crypto world right now; anyone can do a quick photoshop or make a post on reddit and people will go crazy over a shitcoin meanwhile actual projects that aim to be of use in the real world get passed over.

Yeah a copycat account posting a 7 year old video that shows basically nothing is clear evidence of a scam...

Also, calling Verge a PnD scam is just laughable. It spent more than 2 years around 10-20 sat and for most of the past 5 months its been over 100 sat, yet the dev is still active and progress is still being made. That's an awful lot of time and work going in to a "scam" coin with no premine and no ICO.

Just noticed this coin in the zpool neoscrypt pool, always hope to see more ASIC resistant coins do well!

Air caught my interest a little while ago, though for a new coin to already have over 1 bil in circulation makes me a bit wary to invest.

Doesn't having a low supply seem counter intuitive when your project claims to be based on Dogecoin? The point of Doge hasn't ever been to drive the price up and earn a profit, after all...

If that's what you're looking for, probably better off leaving everything in BTC. There might be a couple altcoins with similar characteristics, but very few grow as much and as steadily as BTC.
