It depends on the amount of funding you have. You cannot buy shares or real estate without large funds. Crypto is different. Remember that 1 year ago litecoin was just over $4. It is now about $160.

Bitcoin,and all cryptos, need some good news for price to increase. The end of 2017 was full of governments banning exchanges and dealing in cryptos. Once all the bad news is out of the way cryptos can return to normal but I do not expect same highs as achieved in 2017.

How many people click on Google ads? I cannot see how banning ads for bitcoin mining and ICO's would affect the price. Those who know about cryptos do not bother with these ads.

Where are you looking? Check any exchange today and they are all around $9000 so you could buy well below the figure you mention. Depending on where you are you can buy with fiat on some exchanges.

I use exodus and electrum as desktop wallets and myether wallet as an online wallet. I believe if only yourself holds the keys then the wallets are safe. I used to hold a small amount in coinbase but find they have high fees for transfer to a non-coinbase account.

A week is a long time to wait for an ethereum trade to complete. The problem you mention can happen at anytime because prices are moving continuously 24/7.You need an exchange that works quicker eg kucoin.

Idex seems very similar to etherdelta regarding requirement of wallet keys. I would not give my main wallet keys. Transfer what you want to exchange into a new wallet and then empty it.

Most tokens were listed on etherdelta but now they get listed on forkdelta. As for listing on the big exchanges there are few new coins being listed except on kucoin.

We do not need to prove to anyone that bitcoin is a fad. Bitcoin has been around for a number of years before the media hit on it last year. It is up to each individual how they view bitcoin but is has been strong enough to worry banks and governments so cannot be a fad.

The more exchanges it is listed on then the greater the exposure. Hopefully some of the larger exchanges will list it. Both actions should increase price.

If the tokens do not get listed on exchanges then they cannot be traded and therefore no value. It does not matter about the whitepaper or the reason for the ICO,no trade equals no value.

If you mean ERC-20 tokens then there is no point to many of them as they are not listed on the main exchanges,only etherdelta and forkdelta, so cannot be traded.

Averaging down is a longtime tactic that is used with shares trading. It is sensible to use the same method with crypto buying.
