When it will have that it's will be truly anonymous and ready to be properly used for "anonymous" purposes  Although these features have not yet been implemented the coin is doing well in the markets and the crypto community. Tony e-mailed them half a dozen times without response but apparently they are overloaded with support requests so they have a special form for stuff like this, he contacted them yesterday through this form. [source: Slack] Cryptopia is not worth fighting for. It's an average exchange with volume not high. The people behind Cryptopia are unable to fix problems (if any) fast. it is worth fighting for. Cryptopia is one of the best exchanges in terms of supported coins and it doesn't require verification. A lot of people prefer it, including myself. I trade several obscure coins (yes, byteball is obscure too, though the least obscure of mine) and cryptopia has them all. |

To be honest, this rapid growth of overall market scares me a bit. It is very nice while it goes up, but as the saying goes, what goes up must go down. I am scared of some big crash after this.
Well, many altcoins have huge gains these days and looking for example at TRON on CMC, I can understand your feelings. But I believe that growth of DO is a bit different, there are no big pumps and I do not think that there will be so massive panic selling in case of market crash. But anyway, in case of crash, there should be a consequent growth again  its all natual growth by adoption. many people looked at crypto because of mainstream media and the nice btc pump. many people have invested maybe even at the higher price range. lots of new holders entered the game. i dont think the market will crash anytime soon. it will amaze us with even more growth. we have come at the right time, a new beginning. so dont be scared, know that the current price is nothing compared to the price in 5 years. the problem is except for BTC and perhaps 1-2 other coins like monero, there is no real adoption yet. That's where the bubble is. As for BTC with it's high fees it's no longer usable in real life. I work for a website that just dropped BTC payments because of it. BTC adoption goes down, not up. I guess what I'm saying is I too am concerned with a crypto-crash. If BTC falls, all alts will fall because they are only traded as a pair to BTC. |

Pages doesn't matter to show the worth of the DeepOnion coins. A good investor would gather all information about a coin. And our old thread can exist as a proof to show its worth. Between that thread is not completely lost and we will move back to it after account is recovered.
DeepOnion price is stable now and Bitcoin is rising! That means more USD value !
if anything I find the pages a hurdle. I wanted to invest sooner but the thread was so big I didn't find time to go through it. I always read most of the thread to spot any red flags before putting money in. In this case it delayed the investment with a few months because of this community is more spammy then most. |

is there an any roadmap for the marketing side? The technical side is incredible, but even the brightest gem can remain undiscovered forever. It's not like the early days of BTC where there is no competition. Now there are some 1000 shitcoins all marketing heavily.

It is not surprising that GB receives the fewest number of votes. What is surprising is that MB is receiving more votes than KB. People should realize that this is a one-time exercise. We shouldn't be here in a few months claiming that Byteball costs a few dollars because it is denominated in MB, and people are picking up cheaper coins. The move to KB would be a good idea, in my view. I don't know...there is such a thing as too cheap.... I think we are good with MB. And if the exhanges need money to make the change I'd be happy to make a small donation if there was a fund to do so. I think this change is a must if we want people to embrace BB |

It's a sorrow former thread has been hacked. This could be just a new opportunity to come back to 2000+ pages as soon as possible , we'll see... We will get there and beyond the 2000 pages mark, don't worry. We are a big and devoted community so we can do it... I'd rather not. 12 pages since yesterday evening all will non-sense talk. The ripple’s marketcap is almost half of the bitcoin’s marketcap. It made me to think that not only #2 spot is shakable but also the #1 spot.
Number 1 place is shakeable. But it will take a decade to get there with right development strategy. Also the single fact that institutional investors (american funds) not long ago started trading with the Bitcoint points out that the marketcap will double, triple and quadriple in the course of 1 year or so. IOTA needs to get on the good side of FCC by implementing better security in near future. I didn’t mean only IOTA has the chance to take over bitcoin’s #1 spot. I meant any coins have the chance based on today’s trend as long as they do it right. I don’t think it will take a decade. Again, based on today’s trend it could happen in a couple of years. Here is a single drawback inherited by almost any cryptocurrency from original Bitcoin algorithm (related to the term blockchain): as transaction volume grows the calculation complexity increases as well. The more popular coin becomes the less number of transactions per second is possible. Bitcoin grew so much that only 8 transactions per second available for anywhere in whole world. Think about it - this cryptocurrency is useless now for use as an actual currency in online stores for wide use. The delays are ridiculious if you would like to send bitcoin anywhere. This situation will even become worse overtime. IOTA is different from this prospective, the number of transactions per second is unlimited. As long as other factors are covered (such as security holes, trust by users to dev team, bug fixes with the second transaction erasing first unconfirmed transaction, etc) this coin has a bright future. But there is also possibility that developers won’t improve it and some other better coin with frequent transaction scalability comes out and IOTA will loose momentum as the result. not all blockchains have that weakness, only those forked from BTC. Take a look at the sky coin whitepaper. In theory it should be able to scale. Not tested though. |

So after Jan. 5, probably XRB will be expected to be on another exchange. will be in Kucoin soon as Kukoin announced. With this two great exchanges and no more bad news,, could take Dash and get into top 10 in next months. Dash is only supported by minners. considering the problems it has I would expect them to do what bitrex and cryptopia did: list it and then drop it when they realize the problems |

I politely disagree with the statement “If you can’t trust the developers to uphold the fundamentals of crypto, specifically immutability and security, then you shouldn’t invest a single cent into the project.”.
Trust has nothing to do with ability of getting profit from this coin. The incident affects bottom line of the IOTA price for sure. But this doesn’t mean that a can’t get couple of dollars extra on untrusted currency. Sure, it becomes more risky investment. But it can be still leveraged as investment. I also think it is possible to repair trust by chaning the ways this cryptocoin works over the course of many years. This is a matter of support of this project by talanted developers and their wiliness for improving.

Why do you think IOTA and XRB soared (moon, in crypto slang) while GByte is still 0.05 BTC? Any idea? It doesn't make much sense in my opinion.
it's because noobs think BB is expensive. In the meantime tony keeps ignoring our requests to list the coin in MByte to be psychologically more attractive. |
