161  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A few random questions on: April 17, 2023, 04:03:11 AM
Binance is only one of the biggest centralised exchanges in the crypto world; there are actually many other exchanges where bitcoin is traded. With this situation, it is common that the price on one exchange and other exchanges might have a slight difference. However, it will gradually become the same since people can do arbitrary trading, where they can buy at a lower price and sell at a higher price, and at some point the price will be the same. About Binance regulation, well, Binance is centralised, so there is a probability that governments would ask this kind of thing of them and hold them responsible. But I think Binance will be careful about its obligation to open our personal data to any government that asks because their business depends on customers favour; however, when it's unavoidable, Binance might do it since probably there's nothing they can do to refuse. This is the weakness of centralization after all: they're doxxed, and they can be cornered when the government wants.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HK envisions a positive outlook for cryptos, especially altcoins ? on: April 15, 2023, 03:45:27 AM
Absolutely! The recent news from the Hong Kong Web3 Festival 2023 is indeed exciting and bodes well for the development of Web3 and cryptocurrencies in the region. With the central government lifting bans on cryptos and banks in Hong Kong supporting Web3's development, it signifies a positive shift in the regulatory landscape and a growing acceptance of digital assets.
CZ, Binance's CEO, attending the panel meeting and sharing his views on various topics also highlights the industry's recognition and involvement in the festival. This indicates that major players in the crypto space are actively engaged in the development of Web3 in Hong Kong.

With support from both the government and industry sectors, we can expect a more bullish environment for altcoins in Hong Kong. The increased acceptance and adoption of cryptocurrencies in the region may attract more investments, including into altcoins, as investors seek opportunities in the growing market. But I believe it is not just in Hong Kong; I believe that this string of events has also had an impact on the price of bitcoin recently. We might see a more positive effect on the market in general if the positive signs continue.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your take on the "seasons" topic? on: April 15, 2023, 03:39:13 AM
Whoops, forgive my naivety; I only know about the altcoin season. All I know about the altcoin season is that it's a season where bitcoin's dominance score is gradually diminishing, which shows that people are starting to switch to investing in altcoins since bitcoin itself has already passed its all-time high. People are searching for an alternative to find another way to gain profits. They sell their bitcoins, buy cheap altcoins, wait for their price to rise, and then sell. Usually people get hyped to buy any altcoin in this altcoin season since many altcoins will bloom. Many newcomers get FOMO and jump in to find their position. The altcoin market has turned green, and more people are interested in trading.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dumping ground on: April 15, 2023, 03:22:13 AM
Okay, since you asked about the new altcoin project that probably has a bright future, I would say Biokript. Biokript is the first syariah-compliant hybrid exchange that combines the advantages of CEX and DEX and eliminates the inefficiencies of both exchanges. Shariah-compliant means they don't have trading features like futures trading or staking that actually violate Islamic finance practises. On the other hand, they execute 50/50 profit sharing for their investors and token holders, called the Mudarabah principle. It hasn't been launched because they have a commitment to actually release the product first (which is the exchange) before doing some fund-raising. They planned to do a presale and, right after that, a public listing on Uniswap and Pancakeswap (and, of course, on their own exchange). They just announced a partnership with another project called Melega Swap. I think Biokript is one of the rare new projects out there that decides to make their concept a real product first instead of just selling their concept alone. For me, it shows good intention, a pure heart, and seriousness, which is why I'm looking forward to the presale.

166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the altcoin holders hang on until the bull run comes ? on: April 14, 2023, 03:15:57 AM
Well, your title asks about altcoins, but apparently your post consists of your experience with Dogecoin specifically. I don't think we can generalise that all the altcoin holders will hold their bags until the bull run or not, since it will depend on what altcoins they hold and the situations of the altcoins themselves. But if we're talking about Dogecoin, I think it still has a chance to increase in price if Elon Musk is still attracted to it. He knows how people react whenever he plays with Dogecoin, and he seems to like it. People also associate him with Dogecoin so often, and I don't think he will quit soon. So, if you hold some Dogecoins now, I think it's better to wait for the next peak price. Who knows Elon Musk will want to play Doge in the near future, sooner than we think he will.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bounty really pay? on: April 14, 2023, 03:05:46 AM
It's really tough to be a bounty hunter, mate. So, when you join the bounty, there are phases that you need to face. First, whether they pay you or not; if they do, will it be listed or not? If it's listed, can we sell it or not? If we can sell it, will we get it on time or late, when other people sell it first and the price will go down? So, in conclusion, it takes a warrior's heart to be a bounty hunter. You'll face many frustrating situations, but if you're lucky, you can get jackpot. However, the amount of the tokens also depends on how many works you've done. Nowadays, I must say it is really hard to find a good bounty that will pay you and have a good price later on. It's different from a couple years ago when I did some bounties back then.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You are probably a target already if... on: April 14, 2023, 02:54:25 AM
You're absolutely right! For years, social media has become a source of nightmares for those who search for airdrops there. I've never trusted any news about airdrops from Twitter, nor the link that was shared there. I chose to ignore it. It is important that you have a trustworthy source, like an internal group that consists of your trusted colleagues who only share credible news. I got some big airdrops from there. Even if you get the news from Twitter, check the account. Only follow the instructions that come directly from the official account. Keep safe, guys!

170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Step by step in " DOING YOUR OWN RESEARCH" on: April 11, 2023, 03:24:27 AM
Wow, I'm impressed. Thank you for this valuable information. It's very thoughtful of you to share this kind of knowledge to make us better investors who can be responsible with our own decisions. If I may add, usually it would add my confidence to the project if they had a real product to offer first before doing some fund raising because it could show their passion and good intentions. Not many would do this gesture; it's kind of rare, and it's really appreciated if they do this because of so many history or scam projects that I've found before. I'm kind of tired of projects that only sell concepts and words. I will absolutely use these steps so my research process will be more organized. Thanks once again.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDC is not safe on: April 11, 2023, 03:13:56 AM
I really thought that stable coin was really safe back then, but not until I saw how it crumbled because of some issues. Apparently, stable coins are not immune to volatility (they could even drop). So, I'm personally confused. I thought stable coins were a really good idea to keep our money as secure as fiat. Those problems faced by stable coins back then finally opened my eyes to the fact that nothing is really safe in the crypto world, and it's not a replacement for how you can keep your fiat for the purpose of storing. It's just a tool to do your shopping for your crypto assets. Don't ever keep your money in large amounts in stable coins again. I think I can say that Bitcoin is the safest choice for now, even though we can't depend on it 100%.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The hype ends ? on: April 11, 2023, 02:59:29 AM
Nah, I think it's only how crypto works nowadays in the sideways season. Some peaking happened because of a couple of good news stories here and there. For example, this surge in the price of Bitcoin to $30K was because of some good news, like that China seems to be glancing back at bitcoin, as Douyin shows the bitcoin price live (source: https://twitter.com/CoinWOfficial/status/1645461730833858561?t=2-_iFGkxNgn1FwC6WjORIw&s=19), and bitcoin becomes the best investment in Q1 2023 (source: https://technext24.com/2023/04/04/bitcoin-shines-in-q1-2023-time-invest/) and more I believe the real bull run will still happen in 2024 or 2025 if we refer to history, when the bitcoin halving will be coming.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metamask - new feature that detects scams on: April 10, 2023, 03:18:51 AM
Wow, it's really great news. I think we need more of these things. We need more parties who care about the security of investing in crypto, since security is one if not the most important thing. Even if it won't handle the scam issue, at least it can educate people and minimize the risk. Each day, scams and trials are coming like mushrooms on rainy days, and efforts like this from big players in the crypto world would be much appreciated. We've been exposed to many scams almost every day, and it's really worrisome. No doubt this kind of move could help.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: they change the way we handle money and own things ? on: April 10, 2023, 03:08:17 AM
Uhm, I don't think we've arrived at that stage yet. I believe that until now, cryptocurrencies were still considered just tools of investment by the majority, especially for those who loved speculation. I still have a doubt that cryptocurrency has already changed our ways to handle and save money or own things, since there are still many issues to be handled, for example, with the security of the technology. Massive adoption is still hindered by many factors, such as regulation, (again) security issues, etc., that make people prefer the traditional way to do things. Or even if there's a change, it would be minor.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Doge worth investing? on: April 10, 2023, 02:59:15 AM
I hate to say this, but as long as Doge remains Elon Musk's toy, there's still a chance for the price to go high. Even though it's maybe not as massive as it used to be, it would still have some peaks that could be used to gain profits. Did you see how the Doge image in some of Twitter's features could move the price up? Yes, there are some examples there. I think it is still worth investing, but you need to be extra careful and get prepared with the news.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of tokens like Uniswap, Pancakeswap, Sushiswap, Apeswap? on: April 09, 2023, 03:44:31 AM
What about moving on to the new hype? DEXs and DeFi were already overused; we need something new. What about hybrid exchange? which combine the strengths of both CEX and DEX. I'm wondering why this kind of exchange is still in hibernation. They've been developed for better trading experiences, but none of these exchanges has been hyped, even since the downfall of many CEXs and DEFIs. Do you think there's any chance the hybrid exchange will take over in the future? I personally believe that with the right marketing at the right time, it could also blow up.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High gas fee for sending token is still a problem on: April 09, 2023, 03:36:38 AM
The fact that most of your tokens are on an Erc-20 chain amazed me. You must be a fan. Hehe, no, I'm kidding, sorry. Well, this gas issue has always been a main issue that hasn't been solved until now, even though some solutions have been offered by Vitalik and his team. But because of its utilities and popularity, Ethereum has still become the "King" of altcoins. However, they really need to address this issue as soon as possible before people get really fed up. I've met so many projects in the Erc-20 chain trying to solve this by becoming multichain projects or migrating to Layer 2 platforms; let's hope it will happen to your tokens too. From your side, I can't really give any suggestions other than to minimize token transfers now to save gas for the coming bull season and find other tokens that are not ERC20. Pardon me to be lame.
178  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto currency are digital assets on: April 09, 2023, 03:13:54 AM
Cryptocurrencies are volatile, yes, but with volatility, you can earn your dough. But you just earn money with proper time assigned to learn the system because you must be well informed. There are cases where people are doing well in the market is all about determination plus knowledge=cash

Well, I kind of agree with this one. In fact, that volatility could be like two-sided blades, which could give you advantages but also slice you. Volatility is the one that attracts many people to jump into the crypto world since people could gain profits from the price discrepancy. I just want to add that, beside determination and knowledge, in order to be successful in trading, you also need good emotion control since it's important to have a clear head when you make a decision.

You've probably heard about $25 turning into $200?? It is more than possible. It could take a few weeks, days, months or years.

Talking about volatility, it could even take just a minute or hours for the price to flip, but yeah, in general, it happens when we're in the bullish season, but it's true we should prepare for the possibility you've mentioned too when the market gets bearish.

What matters is the right update, and the part you play, which is DYOR.(Doing Your Own Research),

DYOR will always be mentioned in the crypto world since you can't depend on other people's decisions to decide your fate. Your money is your responsibility, not theirs, and you can't be angry at other people's judgment when many people in the crypto world just want to hype their bags and drag you in. When theyre able to sell their bags for a good price, they'll leave you out. Be careful.

*Cryptocurrencies are assets.* And assets are more guaranteed to hold value than cash, overtime.

Well, I should say that cryptocurrencies are unique assets where you can't treat them all the same because there are cryptos that have a long-term basis, a short-term basis, or are not even valuable at all at some point. Yes, Bitcoin could be a long-term basis asset. Some alts could be too; other alts could be on a short-term basis or trashes too. So be careful about this.

Many people don't have patients though, learn to be patient while into crypto, observe the price, volumes and market, you're good to make it.
Best of luck. You can get more info on crypto updates

Patient is the key. Just like I've said above, besides the determination and knowledge that you've mentioned, we also need good emotion control to succeed.
179  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Set your mind on your goals and nothing else on: April 09, 2023, 02:46:54 AM
It can be tough to pursue your dreams while facing lack of support from loved ones. However, your perseverance and hard work have paid off, and it's impressive how well things have turned out for you. Taking risks and forging a less-traveled path can be challenging, but you've proven yourself and made it happen. It's great to hear that luck has also played a role in your journey.

When it comes to helping your discouraging friends, it's important to prioritize your own financial stability and set healthy boundaries. It's okay to politely decline or offer guidance without taking on undue responsibility.

Remember to stay focused on your goals, surround yourself with a supportive community, and continue to follow your passion for crypto. You're not alone, and many others have faced similar challenges. Stay true to yourself and believe in your vision for the future. Cheers!
180  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't be greedy – a short goose story on: April 08, 2023, 04:00:34 AM
Greed has long been recognized as a negative human trait, and numerous tales and stories cautioning against its dangers. Lots of religions and philosophies, like Christianity and other belief systems, have identified greed as one of the seven deadly sins, further emphasizing its negative impact on individuals and societies. That Aesop story about the dude and the golden goose is a real cautionary tale about being too greedy. So, this dude got super antsy and wanted to get rich quick, so he did something pretty dumb and killed the goose. Turns out, that was a terrible idea because he lost his supply of golden eggs and ended up losing a bunch of money.

In the crypto world, people can get hella greedy in all sorts of ways. Investors might get tempted to go after fast profits without doing proper research or risk assessment, which could lead to making reckless investments in risky or speculative altcoins. It can also make people do shady stuff like pump-and-dump schemes or other illegal things to make money.

Guys, we gotta keep our cool and not get too greedy when dealing with crypto. it's key to do our homework, spread out our investments, and watch out for risks when we're making decisions. It's super important to not let our emotions get the best of us and give in to greed. That can mess with our head and make us do some crazy stuff.
