The world of cryptocurrency is definitely brutal. We can still fall victim to scams even after making an effort to be cautious by conducting some research and being aware of red flags. It's still preferable to plowing money into arbitrary endeavors, though. However, you are correct that scammers are becoming more daring and are now defrauding individuals in broad daylight. Is it preferable for us to stay away from funding new ventures, then? However, it won't help (honest) new projects advance, and we risk losing wonderful projects in general.

Well, if it's come from random projects that are just given freely without any utility, then I pass. I think besides it wasting energy, time, and fees, somehow I'm worried about security. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but whenever we mint and sign the transactions, it means we also give permission for them to access our wallet, right? Clicking on any unsafe links means we are prone to phishing trials. I personally very seldom engage in this kind of airdrop. It is always better to be safe than sorry.

IMHO, until now, anonymity and privacy have only truly existed in a utopia. As long as governments still want to control their citizens, they will strictly monitor the existence of these projects and take action when needed, just like what happened with Tornado Cash. As we know, cryptocurrency is still controversial in some countries, and they still try to fit in and be able to walk along with the government's policy. We're compromised. I think it's really difficult for an absolutely anonymous and private token or coin to develop in the real world. But, fingers crossed, technology is always developing. We'll see in the future.

Well, I appreciate your positivism. Which is one thing we needed for this kind of season. Yes, the cycle will recur. It happened in 2018 too. The crypto world has faced so many obstacles in recent years and has proven robust until now. However, we have to be considerate at this time because the obstacles we faced yesterday are heavier than before. The resurgence after the pandemic, the FED interest rate was the highest level since the economic crisis in 2008 SOURCE, the war, the energy crisis, and many more. If not too much, I can say 2023 will be the dark age of finance worldwide. We need to be extra careful. Be wise, and keep safe.

Please put in mind that everything that's soundly good to be true probably isn't (true). This sense of differentiating which projects that legit or not comes with experiences. I think we can't always choose precisely too. However, we can always try to see the signs.
First, check their website. What impression do they give to you? How's the design, how's the security, etc?
Second, the team members. Are they doxxed or not? Can we find information about them easily? We can hope they will think multiple times before doing something harmful to the projects or have ill intentions. We can find information about their projects record, work resumes, etc on Linkedin (for example).
Third, check also their group and social media. What do you find there? is it full of spam or meaningful discussion?
Fourth, check their whitepaper. Are there any illogical things or anomalies there? The great whitepaper is not always good, it can be copy pasted from other projects too. Do they have a real product already? or it's all just a plan? Do they stick with the road map and if not, what's the issue and how do they handle it, and so on?
It's so tricky to find a great new project in the crypto world, we have to always be alert.

I believe blockchain will be more developed in the future in every single part of life, including in gaming technology. People will keep searching for innovation so they can lead the competition. Just witness it now, it already happened. People never sleep in the crypto world. The change is so rapid and there are always new things coming. When a new item comes into the gaming technology based on blockchain, people will start to hype it and the cycle will continue.
