341  Economy / Economics / Re: Peer to Peer Exchange on: April 28, 2018, 11:25:04 AM
Is there any trading/exchange site that have a feature where people can directly trade and communicate with each other? Like a social media type platform?
I am following an ICO that will answer you needs. An exchange that you can directly exchange your coin A to coin B. It is an aggregation of coins and their pre-sale is successful. I don't what happens right now but I am pretty sure that it will be successfully launched by the opening of Q3.
I just don't know if it is right to promote it here since this is not a marketplace. But if yes, I can tell you what the project it is.
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Everythings GREEN!!!! Oh... hey wait, it's red again... on: April 26, 2018, 05:39:56 AM
We are all hoping for the next bull run, and many thought that the last week showed promising signs.

And then, today we have another price correction.
You can theorize all you want: maybe it's because of the mew hack, maybe it's just whales manipulating the market.

But the most simple answer, is that open markets routinely price correct as demand and supply constantly shifts.
In the case of a speculative, unregulated, and young market like crypto, the swings are more pronounced.

I think that what we will see here (and what I hope for more than anything), is that the market and investors grow up and stop throwing money at shitcoins.

The next bull run will come, I'm thinking mid may to late may.
And the coins that will perform the best, and throughout the year will be the ones that have an actual product and real world use case.
Guess what happens why there is a sudden crash to the market? Yesterday, there is an article that said MEW was intercepted by the hackers and exchanges suspended erc20 token trading due to potential batchoverflow bug. But don't worry mate! Everything is fine and later on, the market will recover again.
343  Economy / Economics / Re: A government can create a cryptocurrency ? on: April 26, 2018, 02:39:55 AM
What do you think about this possibility ? Would you invest in your government currency ?
Government in some countries already banned and regulated cryptocurrencies, it means that it is possible also that government can create their own cryptocurrency. But I think think it is differ from the cryptocurrency because it is more centralized and controlled by the government.
Whether we would like it or not, if the government will make it as a law, we cannot deny that we will invest even a little amount with it. Remember, government holds us and we can't do anything unless we will act as a terrorist.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any coin like bitcoin? on: April 25, 2018, 02:39:20 PM
Please house, I will like to know whether out of the existing altcoins anyone of them has potential to be like bitcoin in the nearest future. I will appreciate if i can know the reason why because this will greatly assis me in planning my investment strategy. Thanks.
In over thousands of coins listed in coinmarketcap.com, I never see any cryptocurrency that is nearly similar in bitcoin. In fact, I don't think that any altcoin can dethrone bitcoin. I really believe in bitcoin, from its usage, reliability and popularity. Bitcoin was the first cryptocurrency that emerge in our economy, it holds 50% share in market cap, and it was more reliable than any shitcoins listed in CMC. Many altcoins have better blockchain than Bitcoin, but I can't say that they already surpass bitcoin's technology.
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves vs. Bitcoin on: April 25, 2018, 01:04:36 PM
Waves NG - has been released today making Waves the fastest blockchain in cryptocurrency.  1000+ transactions per second compared to 3 for bitcoin.  I'm tired of waiting for 3 days for my bitcoin transaction to go through, and paying $30 USD.  Bitcoin was the first and is well known with the media coverage it receives.  Usually the first coin people buy.  It's time for a new coin to take over, some day.  I think Waves is the best!
I am observing different altcoins right now because I want to start trading soon when I got my tokens in a campaign. I like waves but instead of putting to it, I will lend my capital in bitcoin because I really believe in the king of crypto than in altcoin. This is my first trading year and I want it to have assurance, I rather choose Neo or Monero than Waves but if I gather some information about waves maybe, my mind will change also.
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: BIDIUM: The Best Service Around - Join Whitelist Today on: April 25, 2018, 05:38:15 AM
Bidium Pre-ICO officially closed

The Bidium Pre-ICO sale is now officially closed. During the Pre-ICO phase, Over 61643737 BIDM tokens were sold and more than $500,000 was raised!

The main ICO sale is scheduled for May. The Whitelist/KYC  process would begin soon.

Join the Conversation on the Bidium Telegram community channel. Goto: https://t.me/Bidium

Oh! It seems that bidium pre-ICO was successful. As what I saw at their twitter, the ICO will end for 30 days but the information regarding when it will start will be announced soon. I will wait for the new whitelist for ICO and I hope this project will also launch airdrops because it is useful in order for them to gain popularity.
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IOS Token (IOST) Ready to boom the market on: April 24, 2018, 02:23:17 PM
I always seen IOST in different thread here in forum, that's why my eyes got the attention of this coin. I joined the signature campaign of IOST because it is a weekly payment system which is pretty good in order for me to have their tokens. Hopefully, IOST will continue to bull run by upcoming weeks. If ever I will choose IOST, I want it to be part of Kucoin exchange.
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tips on choosing the right ICO on: April 24, 2018, 08:33:57 AM
How to choose the right tips for choosing a good project?
If I will buy a coin in an ICO, I always play safe. I never spend my capital in an ICO that never reach its soft cap. Yeah, it is 50/50 succession atleast, you have already the assurance that the project you've participated is popular. The only risk is the team, if the team is fake and scammer definitely, you will never do with your funds and say goodbye to it. ICO is just a matter of luck, but you can lessen the risk by researching its background of the developer and usage of the project.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I earned $ 3500 from the 1 airdrop on: April 23, 2018, 11:35:04 PM
I participated in the first airdrop IOP (internet of people) and with 500 token iop I received 2200 hydra .. that I sold in the exchange on the discord and from which I got 450 IOP .... with a gain of over 90% doing nothing. Tonight, the second airdrop closes the second airdrop and tomorrow another part

Nice! I am participating in airdrop but until now, I don't earn even $100. As of now, airdrops are not profitable due to the limited amount of tokens they give to the bounty hunters. Also, airdrop participants doubled everytime from the beginning up to now. Usually, I got $1 only in am airdrop but I always want to participate specially if the airdrops had a high amount of pool.
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Avoiding the KYC procedure on: April 23, 2018, 10:45:17 PM
Avoiding the KYC procedure when investing through "dark" pools is for you a plus (provides anonymity and saves time) or a minus (more risks, harm for ICO, illegal status)?

Well, I think that when a project asks for KYC procedure (especially regarding large investments) - that's good and shows that they're very serious and responsible.
But for people who actually invest (and thus have to pass KYC) - that's another headache - as not many people are willing to share their passports' data, bills info and etc
Usually, projects who required KYC are those who bullish by the investors. Most of the time, investors who invested in a project complained about these procedures specially if the investor don't want to give his identity. Some people have afraid and disgusted about KYC but for me, implementing pf KYC procedure is healthy for the project and investors. It can help to avoid such crimes that the investors involved. We can assure also that our money is safe because the team and developers are serious in their project.
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The art of price predictions on: April 23, 2018, 12:51:36 PM
When it comes to price forecasts, we see a lot of different opinions: who says bitcoin will go down to $ 900, who says it will go up to $ 100,000. In this branch, not only do I want to know by what signals and technical analysis you determine how much and when btc and other altcoins will cost?
Try to view video and read articles about trading and you can learn a lot from it. Technical Analysis really helps to predict the price. If you have knowledge to look at the candlesticks, you will never hear or trust upon the opinion of others regarding to the future price of the coin. Price prediction is a helpful way to gain profits in trading and losing of your capital may lessen if you know something with it.
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Alt coin this year with Low market value on: April 23, 2018, 08:16:14 AM
Any recommendations?

Earth token is good, there are high amount of their market cap and as of now, the price of EARTH is dumped. From 960 sats last day up to 400 sats right now. I believe that earth token is very promising ICO and it is possible that its price will return to its price when it listed in exchange.
I also wanted to invest in lala token and in adbank because their ICO was successful and now, I want to trade with these coins because I think their price will move up for the next pump. All of these coins can found at qryptos exchange.
353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: BIDIUM: The Best Service Around - Join Whitelist Today on: April 22, 2018, 02:35:28 PM
Can’t still get over from trauma of big ICOs, looking realistic and big projects with all proofs of works having  professional developers but still in the end turned out to be scams. I dont know what assurance BIDIUM has that they are not one of those. So traumatizing.
Out of hundreds of ICO here, 10% of ICOs are really genuine and the rest are fake. If I will ask, I will never lend my capital in ICO specially if the project did not benefit much the community.
A part of a wise decision, I think investing in bidium is good. In fact, if we based upon the ratings and project, there is a possibility that bidium can conquer with all those successful exchanges. I want also to invest in bidium but I want to have signs if I will gain or lose with this project.
354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we hitting another dip? on: April 22, 2018, 11:14:39 AM
Hey All. The market is looking healthy and booming for now. What coins are on your radar to trade and accumulate?
I sell right now my debitum tokens. The price of it fluctuates almost 4% when I had it. I was amazed that right now, it's price moves to 900 sats and I am very lucky because this is the first I've sold my tokens. I hold debitum for more than months since it was moved in kucoin exchange.
Almost all altcoins are volatile right now and it is good to trade or hold your coins because there is a possibility that after this event, the prices will dump.
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone invested in token pay on: April 22, 2018, 08:58:40 AM
Tpay low supply coin , only one one exchange I've never even heard of. I'm wondering once this hits a major exchange it can really take off. Thoughts appreciated.
As far as I know, Tokenpay listed in qryptos exchange and the price continuously growing up! I want also to buy tpay from their ICO but I feared to the fact that there are news about tokenpay as scam.
Yes, it is better if tpay will be listed at major exchange.

Looks like there is a new awaiting project that will success anytime! From the platform, the team and advisors to the rate of ICO reviewers, I think that this project has the capability to go at the moon!
But I just noticed, how does this project generate revenue of there is no fee for transaction, hiring and bidding? I also like to stress the Bidium core, does this project has?

Going to the moon is not a n issue to take now, we should read their whitepaper and watch for the development of it.
Are they worth to invest in? or we should just hold to our coins?
Are they have the power and technology to compete with other exchanges?
The security that they will use may be enough to stay safe with our holdings?
I don't Hodl my coins on several exchanges as we all know that they have the best security provided. But along the way if you going to keep a big bulk of coins then i recommend cold wallets, as we can see big exchanges had a big trouble on compromising their data. I hope they have exchange wallet that every users has the right to save their coins with private keys and phrase password.

If they are an exchange they must have a wallet for exchangers to store their token to. I’ve read that they dont even charge the users and those who hold tkens in their Bidium wallets are going to have shares on Bidium profits. Because of their concept it attracted me to join also their campaign.
Don't worry! As what is stated at their whitepaper, Bidium project has a bidium wallet. Besides, bidium wallet is also a secured wallet where you can store coins. In addition, Bidium uses PoS algorithm wherein if you store your coin with their wallet, you will gain an extra percentage comes from the coin inside the bidium wallet.
358  Economy / Economics / Re: do you think bitcoin is controversial ? on: April 16, 2018, 02:52:25 AM
as we know so many reason to make controversial bit coin currency in practical or real media sanitation. if  we observe very carefully  few past few years we have seen that  criminal activities  or occurrence  are occurred by the help of hackers and trader make it famous moving thousand of dollars outside by cheating  with government law enforcement for that reason value of bitcoin increasing very high. even they make money away from center bank and government unable to hold money from general people and through this process people convert this money into different things. i think this is enough for making controversial and what do you think about my think ?
In my country, bitcoin becomes controversial because of the scammers who scammed almost 900M PHP. I always hear in news and with my neighbourhood that bitcoin is scam. They absorb the wrong information dealing with bitcoin. As a matter of fact, I do not say to them that I am working with cryptocurrency because they just say this is a scam. However, I always say to them that they need to analyze why bitcoin is trending right now, not because it is a scam but a lot of benefits bring by bitcoin.
359  Economy / Economics / Re: What cryptocurrency needs most nowadays on: April 15, 2018, 10:56:46 PM
Decentralized exchanges are the ones needed most, we are trading decentralized coins in centralized exchanges  Grin but no worry we have great dex OAX developing
This is the irony in cryptocurrency. We are promoting decentralization in coins but we are using centralized exchange. The goodness of having a decentralized exchange is to secure from the attempting by the owners to steal our exchanges. That's why, it is not advisable to keep your coins at centralized exchange. More over, a lot of decentralized exchange are existing right now. I oftentimes update all ICO that is related in exchange because I know someday, centralized exchange will gone and it will change by Dex.
360  Economy / Economics / Re: How to calculate profit on: April 15, 2018, 02:19:50 PM
P=TR-TC
Wherein, P stands for profit, TR is for Total Revenue and TC is for Total Cost.
Let say you have $200 capital and you invest in the coin with its price $200 per coin. Fortunately, the coin moves up to $600 per coin.
Solution:
P=600-200
P=$400
By the way, the formula can apply in real computation of profits in other investment such as businesses.
P.S. we cannot see your profit in your situation because the price of the coin you've put is constant. You will not gain or lose when the price does not change.
This is the best way to earn profits in business, it was thought during economic class. So far, I could say that it can be applicable with bitcoin investment. However, I think the equation you had put is quite general and in form of aggregating the marginal cost and revenue. Bitcoin profits can simply computed the way you buy the coin to the moment you have sell your bitcoin.
