482  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin going mainstream had the opposite effect than I predicted. on: January 03, 2018, 12:38:41 AM
I have held Bitcoin for quite a while now and done very nicely, OK there was the dip in December, but you won't hear me complaining after the great year we have. I have also studied Bitcoin best I can, and apart from it being a great investment in my opinion it also has the power to do so much good in this evil bank ruled world.
Bitcoin never ceases to amaze me and more often than not does the opposite to what I thought it would do. When Bitcoin was attacked by JPMorgan in August along with China closing exchanges I thought we had a year of downside to contend with, wrong. I have always thought that when Bitcoin arrived at the eve of it going mainstream I thought all the real fun would start, and I believed it did go mainstream when it $10,000 in December, well it did in the UK and I am sure the USA was the same, it was all over our mainstream news. But what happened, it took fright and there was a big fall and a slight rally and now it is flat lining.

What a great ride owning Bitcoin is, but I am All in and going all the way Smiley
Yeah! Bitcoin will never be vanished, as what people said during its dumped days. Bitcoin will continuously grow and grow. Bitcoin always be on top cryptocurrency list. If I earn bitcoin someday, I will hold it until its price doubled. I think there is no lose in bitcoin, eventhough sometimes there are dipping down, bitcoin price will always recover and goes up!
483  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Rise again in January? on: January 02, 2018, 10:21:45 AM
In my opinion bitcoin will rise up to $22000.
Its hard to predict if it will rise up or not. Some critics said that in the end of January, bitcoin will move up because bitcoin people are now investing again. Due to the recent dumped of bitcoin price, probably it will recover at the end of January.
484  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph o Coinbase? on: January 02, 2018, 06:48:53 AM
485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your Bitcoin New Years Resolutions (2018)? on: January 01, 2018, 12:44:52 AM
First of all I want to greet all of forum members a Happy Happy New Year!

What are your three Bitcoin New Years Resolutions (2018)?
Happy New Year too!
My New Years Resolutions first, probably is to earn now a money wether bitcoin, altcoin or fiat currency. Next is to make my project, portfolios, reports, research and thesis efficiently in order to focus in bitcointalk. Lastly, I will invest and hold bitcoins and altcoins whenever I gain tokens in bounty campaign.
486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reality of Ripple - centralized or decentralized? on: December 31, 2017, 07:17:19 AM
There is a lot of accusations that ripple is more of centralized crypto which will only benefit the government and banks not for individual investors and also it serves the agenda of bank to penetrate the crypto currency market ? Is it true ? Because as far as I think ripple.will benefit everyone and make transfer of funds more easier and there was an recently article where there are speculation that ripple.will be more decentralized than bitcoin
I just don't know how fact is that but I know that Ripple is more decentralized than bitcoin. However, it is too scary if it was held by the government. It can be the reason when it will dip down by next year.
I recently read news, 13hours ago Ripple overtaken Ethereum as the largest market cap in altcoin.
487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2017 is Bitcoin Year and 2018 will be Ethereum Year on: December 30, 2017, 04:11:05 AM
Read news about BTCitcoin and ethereum. Which is indeed fact that 2017 is the year for Bitcoin. Is Bitcoin stopping here already? Or still on its way to $100,000? I just hope that. But I love ETH to go up more also. And I think it will be a year for both BTCitcoin and etherem.
 https://www.coindesk.com/2017-bitcoins-year-2018-will-ethereums/  Smiley

Need more idea. Any thoughts about that?
2018 will be the year of ethereum and other altcoins. I believe that the upcoming innovation of blockchain technology and entering of Japan at the same time the spread of cryptocurrency in the whole world will bring a triumph to crypto world. I believe that bitcoin also will pump by next year and it can attain $50k at the end of 2018.
488  Economy / Economics / Re: European Union official suggests that Bitcoin will not be regulated on: December 29, 2017, 01:23:49 AM
Regulators in Europe have tried to pressure the European Commission to put Bitcoin under a magnifying glass in one way or another. However, there are other characters that sometimes make us believe that these efforts are over, at least for now.

Yeah it is highly impossible to regulate the use of bitcoin because it is anonymous and there is no way to trace the usage of bitcoiners. So no government can put rules and regulation for using bitcoin.
Agreed, being anonymous of bitcoin is the reason why some of the country are prohibiting to use it or to circulate in their economy. Government does not hold the people, they cannot impose laws and regulation about bitcoin because it is not centralized and the most important, bitcoin is a bubble thing and it can be vanished anytime without the concern of investors.
489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: All major four cryptos starting declining at the same time on: December 23, 2017, 07:07:52 AM
I just looked at the graphs of litecoin, bitcoin, bitcoin cash and ethereum at coinbase and they all started a downward spiral at the same time (07:44 am Florida time) and the reached a bottom at 9:16 am. I have never seen anything like this before. Was there any new information around this time or is this just some manipulating all four at the same time with their bots?

This is kind of shocking.
It just explain that not only bitcoin crashed during Christmas season. We expect also that all market price are volatile. Maybe there are whales that sell out this week. I think there is no also bots who controlled this four  but the investors decided the price of these four cryptocurrency. It is unnatural to see that they are crashing down simultaneously but I know they will recover someday.
490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is Hashgraph and how will it replace The Blockchain!? on: December 23, 2017, 05:25:48 AM
The hashgraph will dethrone blockchain instantly. The blockchain now becomes obsolete and hashgraph will be the new technology that uses consensus mathematical algorith. Hashgraph is more fair, speed and secure than block, I think it will be the greatest challenge to blockchain technology. I hope bitcoin will adapt hashgraph technology because some said that it needs to  develop their blockchain.
491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what is the biggest risk that bitcoin is facing at present? on: December 22, 2017, 10:40:13 PM
From a technical point of view。
I think when it comes to technical view, the most important to fix by bitcoin is the number of supplied coins and they should improve how their blockchain works. A lot of new cryptocurrency and altcoins existing today with has the quality features unlike bitcoin but for me bitcoin always be the one. Many altcoin can surpass bitcoin and I think it will be the greatest enemy of bitcoin to success. Bitcoin forks also be dominated the cryptocurrency, as of now, bitcoin cash is the most promising coin. I think if the bitcoin will not enhance its system, many investors will move to other forks or altcoin.
492  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Should Europe repay Africa for Slavery on: December 22, 2017, 08:48:30 PM
Do you honestly believe that European countries should pay reparations to African countries for the sins of Slavery ?
It happened already in our history, we can't deny how it is worst because people didn't have the rights to live and freedom. However, why the European should repay it now? I think repay is not suited, European must help African people to overcome their problem in their society now. They brought that problems because in old times they are greed in power and resources, that's why slavery existed.
493  Economy / Economics / Re: Becoming wealthy and social responsibility on: December 22, 2017, 02:05:43 PM
If we join in a bounty we must becoming wealthy and social responcibility because time is money. So we must use our time to work and work Smiley
Time is not defined by money, the essence of time is to appreciate that you are living in this earth with full of happiness even there are lots of sacrifices. I believe that too much work will lead you to a great fatigue and stress. Have time to yourself and don't just centered yourself on working to earn but focus the people behind you, the people that makes you happy. Give quality time to them because if we die, all of things that we hold on in this world will left and we can't use it in the next life. True wealth cannot be measured by material wealth but by the happiness that brings upon yourself.
Work but not too much, be curious on time simultaneously be thankful that you have always time to do what you want.
494  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN A REALLY SHITTY COIN! on: December 22, 2017, 10:55:32 AM
Come on guys. Never expected this. My transaction got stuck. This is insane for a newbie. Investing in bitcoin will make a newbie like me to never believe it
After all things that bitcoin have done, I cannot say that this is a shit coin. It don't means that when the price sharply crashed and the transaction always stuck, bitcoin is  a shit coin. Remember that bitcoin is the foundation of cryptocurrency. I believe that bitcoin still the best cryptocurrency.
495  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe the news ? on: December 21, 2017, 01:38:59 PM
Or do you think media is independent ?
In my country, I think most of the news are not seriously and based from the facts. It is more scripted things like between the two artists, I noticed that they just create a battle just to promote themselves. News also came from the mind of the reporter and we are not assure that it is true or it is filtered already. Somehow, I am watching TV news because I want to be updated in happenings around the country and worldwide.
496  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have You Been Scammed? on: December 21, 2017, 12:19:23 PM
no one knows exactly where the scam and what is not, except maybe he has the 6th sense may be hehe, the point back to dirikita each, we do something we really understand and we know. my advice is more careful, because it all depends what we do as well. yes so lah I never experienced it because I myself was not careful.
Somebody told me that when I invest something, I must use my heart rather my mind. In terms of scam? I never scammed since I was started here in bitcointalk and cryptocurrency because I am not yet earning lots of money but I think I already scammed by project ( I just don't know if it will pay my service). Someday I will try to invest and trade altcoins and bitcoin, I will conquer my fear of being scammed. You are right! We don't know the day and how we will be scammed but checking of backgrounds and personality behind altcoin helps us to keep calm that our coin is in the good hands.
497  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we support altcoins ? on: December 15, 2017, 11:03:36 PM

From a "lets make the world a better place perspective" should we support only bitcoin right now or altcoins also?

We should support also other altcoins because bitcoin already established its popularity. However, altcoins may shitcoins, please also understand what they are trying to do. I think 2018 will be the year of altcoin since bitcoin spread in the world. We need to support everyone of them, for them also to be successful like bitcoin.
498  Economy / Economics / Re: The legalization of bitcoin. on: December 15, 2017, 10:24:25 PM
Do you think if we create an initiative group for the legalization of bitcoin. To find uninhabited island, to announce the collection of funds for its acquisition. Everyone who contribute will receive a piece of this island. Based on the state of Bitcoin official currency of this state to make a bitcoin. Do you like this idea?
The government held already the islands, even uninhabitable islands. We cannot push the legalization of bitcoin to that particular island if the government does not want bitcoin to exist in their territory. As far as I know, there are lots of countries applied bitcoin in the sense that the people using it as earnings and to transact. I've been searched also the different countries that bitcoin is legitimate and I found out that bitcoin already spread in our world.
499  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how safe is bitcoin to use with phone on: December 15, 2017, 01:33:24 PM
So eventually bitcoin is gonna have to compete with credit cards and mobile payments. To do this people will need to have a bitcoin mobile app.

I know there are the lightweight wallet mobile apps. Are those any safe? Will those be the future. Or will the future be having a hosted service where the company has control over your bitcoin and you can just send them to pay with stuff with the mobile app? Like Square recent integration of Bitcoin.

I don't know what options are out there now. But it would seem to me that having a secure offline savings account coupled with a hosted mobile bitcoin service (checking account) for payments would make sense. I mean I guess obviously if you're making payments you can't have everything in cold storage so some compromises on security must be made.
I am currently working through my mobile phone and I made accounts in bitcoin and ethereum in mobile app. But I trust bitcoin wallet since it is reliable by other people. Some said that it is not hackable because it is secured. In my country, coins.ph app is also reliable bitcoin wallet.
500  Economy / Economics / Re: Which Market Cycle Stage Are we ? on: December 15, 2017, 05:04:26 AM
As of now, I think cryptocurrency is just amidst of prosperity. We won't actually predict what will happens in cryptocurrency. Maybe it will reach its peak by the year 2018 or it may turn down. For me, it will grow up specially bitcoin becomes famous all over the world.
