501  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's refusal in some countries, due to high levels of corruption on: December 14, 2017, 11:23:00 PM
Is it true, some countries that reject the bitcoin are countries with high levels of corruption? So they consider bitcoin to be a potential money laundering crime, potential illegal transactions, Violate payment system authority and undermine the system of investment activity. While countries that provide support for bitcoin is already included developed countries and has minimal acts of corruption therein. What do you think?
In my own opinion, they are fear from bitcoin because they cannot corrupt if the bitcoin dominates their country. Bitcoin is decentralized and government can't mandate their citizen to give high taxes. They don't hold the money of the people. Banks also be useless and there will be a change in the system of payment and transactions. Bitcoin will be the great enemy of corrupt administration, they just said that bitcoin is illegal to avoid spreading of bitcoin specially, in their country. Unlike in developed countries, citizen's sake always be the first.
502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think BCH will replace BTC in the future? on: December 14, 2017, 12:01:12 PM
Less transaction fees and same amount as BTC... why not Grin
Fork will never replace the original one. Bitcoin Cash transaction fees is absolutely less than bitcoin but it will not long-last. When it comes in technicality and trusted coin, bitcoin is the most famous. Bitcoin is the best cryptocurrency and no one can change it for me. Eventhough there are lots of altcoin and forks, bitcoin will be the number one.
503  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin has dropped 1000 USD today13 December 2017 on: December 13, 2017, 10:59:11 PM
hi , is there something to be worried about here since Bitcoin has dropped 1000 USD today , very scary
Don't be afraid that bitcoin price will loose its value. In economics, it is too normal. Law of demand and supply indicated that the price will be affected when demand and supply move. If you are going to analyze this, it decreases 1000usd because of its demand goes down and the supply can sustain the demand. We have not to worry. Bitcoin is under control.
504  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin - New form of Budget for poor countries on: December 13, 2017, 04:57:26 AM
Hello guys, I often read news about poor countries and a new idea came to my mind.
Imagine countries which have budget not more than 10 billion (milliard). Usually these countries import products from other countries and use USD for this. So some of them has national currency and their exchange rate to USD often changes (sometimes on bad side). If their economy fails on some steps, it will affect a lot to people + they depend on nat currency/usd exchange rate. National bank has to sell some usd in order to lower exchange rate and make it a little bit stable but it isn't fix.
I want to say that if they officially invest in bitcoin (they had to do it some months ago).. Imagine price is 2000$, budget is in bitcoin and after some months it rised to 6000$, they get 3x budget.
But no one cares about that.. Bitcoin is a way for them to develope quickly in an ultra fast way.
I think sir you just saying that because you just researched it. You are not in the place of the people in poor countries like me. I am one of the testimony that poor country is hardly to develop specially when it comes in cryptocurrency. I was embarrassed but that is reality. We can't be developed because lots of people don't have educational attainment. Yes, bitcoin helps to improve the way of living but how? Did you think almost people can hold gadgets? No, of course. Our government is corrupt, I never trust if they will integrate bitcoin in our economy.
505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is Bitcoin to you? Is it the same as it was when you got started? on: December 13, 2017, 03:39:43 AM
Curious what Bitcoin is to everyone here!  We all have a personal subjective vision of what it should be, and I am curious where everyone sits.

I used to think Bitcoin was a digital platform for micro transactions and B2C spending.  Back in the day of Changetip and reddit micro tips... I always thought Bitcoin was the online currency that allowed me to send 10 cents, quick and for relatively no fee.

That has changed now, and Bitcoin is moving in another direction which is cool to see.  Its kind of moving away from what I originally thought it was, a tool of empowerment for small sending over large distances.

I now see Bitcoin as a platform for development.  I think in the future we will be spending Bitcoin, but it will be a development on the Bitcoin blockchain. I think we will use it as a store of value, a tool for investment and a way to interact and sell things safely online, but also a means to store information in a transparent, accessible way.

I think Bitcoin is not even close to where it will be in 10 years, but I am curious what everyone elses vision is.  Clearly the Bitcoin miners have a different vision that a merchant processing tool, which is different than the big Bitcoin holders, etc.

What is your ideal Bitcoin?
Actually, I mean for bitcoin when I started was a job. I don't know how I explained it but when I conducted some research about bitcoin and cryptocurrency, my perception changes. I know that when we are starting new things we are fool, we don't know everything but if we are determined to learn new things probably, we can learn it. Now I know that bitcoin is a type of currency but is was innovated by satoshi nakamoto and it is decentralized, meaning it does not supported nor hold by the government. There are many things that I will learn more as I go on in this environment and I am excited to learn and learn new things.
506  Economy / Economics / Re: Why 21,000,000 Supply? on: December 12, 2017, 08:29:19 PM
I think that his purpose was to create scarcity. When bitcoin mining became unsustainable, the value is going to raise like never before, and the coin itself will be seen has a good, not a exchange object, like normal coins.

When that time arrives, other coin(s) will take the role of bitcoin as the reference coin.
Like what happens now, bitcoin price unceasingly moves upward because the supply of bitcoin is much lower than other altcoins. When the demand goes high the supply goes down. When that happens price of bitcoin continuously goes up. Logically speaking, bitcoin calculated the amount of bitcoin that will circulate in the global economy. If the number of bitcoin is 21 million above do you think it will have value for now? Yes, it has but for sure it is not the same as today. If the number of bitcoin is less than 21 million, for sure that will lead to scarcity.

508  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is It advisable to quit my present job for bitcoin? on: December 10, 2017, 11:43:03 AM
Bitcoin trading these days has become so rucreative that I am tempted to quit my present job which is not giving me enough time to explore more out of bitcoin world...

You can have your job at the same time you can work in bitcoin. It's your advantage! A lot of people is unemployed. Just manage your time properly and be optimist on what you are doing! someday you will not regret that you did both of them because every hardworking will result to a successful life.
509  Economy / Economics / Re: Best tip on saving money on: December 10, 2017, 12:20:49 AM
Hi guys! Can you share some tried and tested tricks on making the most out of your buck and also some tips on how to save money more effectively. This will be a heck of a help to our fellow users here. Thank you so much.

I also put aside 20% of my daily jobs earning as saving. And then the what's left is I budget it. It has works wonder for me up to today. I'm glad that I'd listen to my parents early on regarding saving. You might try it if so see if it's fits you. Others do to the opposite, they do the budget first and the rest put into saving. I guess you have to try and experiment it yourself. And always ask yourself if you really need or just want it before spending your precious money.
20% is almost a big money. In my case, I think if I earn in bitcoin I will just save 10% of it because I am poor and there I am allocating my money in food, bills, credits and to my tuition fees. I will save a lot if I have stable job. I will invest rather, because saving will not earn money its just keeping your money for the future use. Investing will earn money and if you look at to your investments, it will grow up.
510  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can we predict if the value of Bitcoin will go up? on: December 10, 2017, 12:06:28 AM
The value of Bitcoin is in roller coaster at some point. But can a bitcoiner be notified if the value of bitcoins will go up or down beforehand?
Anyone can predict what will be the value of bitcoin in a certain time but we don't know how this prediction is accurate. Some can estimate because probably, if the bitcoin gradually goes up the other day will goes up and when we can say it reached the apex it will goes down. As we can we can't exactly determine the price of bitcoin. It is like foretelling of typhoon, we can predict it will come but we don't know when and where it will fall.
511  Economy / Economics / Re: Does this mean Cash will be extinct? on: December 09, 2017, 11:32:33 PM
Eliminating paper fiat will have a measurably negative effect on economies. Paper money represents a more efficient form of transaction than electronic payment. For the poor who can't afford a cell phone or internet connection, paper money is their only hope of buying/selling. Getting rid of paper fiat makes transactions more difficult and also centralizes the currency aspect of economies which leads to monopolism. Centralizing power and influence in this way is strongly correlated with exploitation, predatory business practices and inequality.

Banning paper money will have a measurable negative effect on economic growth, unemployment, inflation, standard of living & other statistics. It will represent lost opportunity, a higher bar to entry for markets, greater difficulty in small businesses surviving and creating jobs. There's no upside or advantage in getting rid of paper money. And there are definitely many disadvantages.
That's why fiat currency should not be eliminated. Here in my country, poor people from mountains and provinces has difficulty in adapting trends about economy. They are fear from touching computers and eletronic gadgets because they are not trained to use that. If the physical money will be removed, people who can't afford android phone and don' know how to use computers will die. They can't buy some foods and it will become a global disastrous event. Poor people will suffer this changes. Many people doesn't know the reality in this world. They don't know the feeling of poor because they came from industrialized country. They don't know the word starvation.
512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is here and it's here to stay on: December 09, 2017, 11:13:49 PM
I truly believe Bitcoin will disrupt the financial sector and rightly so. It will help to drain the swamp, so to speak and in due time the global financial system will be more robust, fair and accessible.

The guys who hold the symbolic keys to the century old monopolistic financial kingdom need to be afraid and afraid they will be. Change is coming very quickly and change will be very scary for them and their minions. If any one of them is reading this I strongly suggest they diversify into cryptos as an act of self preservation.

To the Moon!
Bitcoin will long last! This is the biggest event in our history when it comes in currency. Bitcoin shows how easily and accessible to all people to transact and earn. Bitcoin develops the way we purchase and transfer. Bitcoin will remarks the history and our era is what we called informational age. Bitcoin will change our system of life.
513  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who is now the leader of the world? on: December 09, 2017, 10:45:27 PM
the leader in this world is the god. nothing can match the power and power of god because the world and its contents are created by god.
Yeah! Your right! We are just a human and we are just temporary in this world. No one own in this world and for me there is no person to be a leader or boss. Everyone is fair in God. What we see in this earth is reversed in heaven. We all see is artificial and no one can say that he owns everything.
514  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin in Economics class? on: December 09, 2017, 09:48:31 PM

Do you think they are talking about bitcoin in your basic ECON class?
I have 9 units about economics as of now. I don't think so that bitcoin had already integrated in our curriculum. Well, I am sure that in the future, bitcoin will be part of economics specially in macroeconomics. Bitcoin deals about monetary and it may also include in inflation.
515  Economy / Economics / Re: How much money do you have left from your job? on: December 09, 2017, 02:38:14 PM
I want to talk about salaries. How much $ do you have left after paying taxes, rent, and basic expenses (electricity, water)
I get $10 000/y like a fucking slave
My spending basic is $5 000 / year, including food, $2 500 without food
I live in the former SSSR
Another reason to move away

Also they give me these communistic so called "benefits" when you get like prepaid cards for predefined services

I don't have job but I think I can earn here in bitcoins. I have a sideline before there is a person invited me to join this bitcoin. I have just 20 dollars a month. If I will earn in this forum then I will left my sideline and focus my time in bitcoin.
516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are The Banks Scared of Bitcoin? on: December 09, 2017, 12:33:38 PM
I read an article on Business Insider, Inc. and couldn't help thinking many banks would like to see the end of Bitcoin.

"Miners are turning to more powerful computers to complete these tasks and earn bitcoin. As a result, mining (and on the flipside, bitcoin transactions) are sucking up greater and greater amounts of electricity. Bitcoin transactions now use so much energy that the electricity used for a single trade could power a home for almost a whole month, according to Dutch bank ING"
- Businessinsider@ businessinsider.com

What do you think would be the impact of the anti Bitcoin sentiment of the bank knowing they wield a lot of influence with the governments?

Is Bitcoin really an identifiable threat to banking?

What measures must traditional banking adopt so as not to miss out if Bitcoin would dominate the future?
Bitcoin is not a threat in the banks. As a matter of fact, it can be integrated in banks. Bitcoin will serve us the future currency and the banks can work with it. The innovation of bitcoin will influence to all of the people to use cryptocurrency rather than fiat currency and the banks must not afraid of this. Digital currency is useful nowadays and I'm sure someday banks will make a way just to be a part of economic trends.

520  Local / Pilipinas / Re: ANO BA ANG IBIG SABIHIN NG HARD FORK? on: December 06, 2017, 10:04:43 PM
