It's not far from Trump to claim being Satoshi Nakamoto XD hopefully we'll see him do so someday  Grin Grin
102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin just a brand? on: November 30, 2017, 04:03:40 PM
Litecoin is faster, monero is more private, ETH has smart contracts and there are much more altcoin with much more features, even Bitcoin Cash is faster than Bitcoin, but BTC keeps rising much faster.
Don't you think it's just because of the name?

Bitcoin is not "just a brand", but I do agree that the name 'Bitcoin' being the first cryptocurrency had a great effect in its success.
103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Total bitcoins limit on: November 28, 2017, 05:18:42 PM
It's a software limit. It can be changed but they won't change it.
104  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why BTC value is growing day by day ? on: November 27, 2017, 06:14:58 PM
Bitcoin is acting more like gold than a currency in this regard.
Would you use gold to buy stuff on a daily basis?
Ofc no, but when you need the money you'll use that gold eventually.
Almost the same goes for bitcoin these days, it's not used as a currency as much as a store of value, and people only use it when they have to.
The difference between gold and bitcoin is that gold's price is stable while bitcoin's is fluctuating too much making it riskier to hold but more rewarding.
105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: this is what will Kill bitcoin. on: November 26, 2017, 09:20:05 PM
For you people saying that it's his fault and if he wants fast confirmation he should set higher fees!
Well, he doesn't want a "fast" confirmation, he wants a CONFIRMATION. Those are 13 F***** days it's beyond fast and slow here. And it definitely is a problem in bitcoin.
106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The real question is .... on: November 24, 2017, 07:20:27 PM
The real question we should all be asking is whether Bitcoin is going back down to $1 mark, so I can buy millions of them!

What are your predictions?

Bitcoin going to 1$ = bitcoin dying, and I don't think it may happen any time soon if ever..
Anyway, you will not benefit from buying it in such a case, cuz if it goes down like that it's never going up.
107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Goverments to go AGAINST Bitcoin on: November 24, 2017, 06:55:38 PM
Is there any chance goverments to go against bitcoin if they see its something against them??

Yes, a government may go against bitcoin if they see it bad for them.. Governments usually like to control money circulation in their countries, other reasons may be using bitcoin for crimes because it's much harder to trace than fiat money

So if a goverment goes against bitcoin in a specific play and some1 uses it that means he might face the justice right?

Of course, if your government bans bitcoin you will be punished if you use it.
Anyway, few countries ban bitcoin atm so I don't think you should worry about it unless you're living in one of those countries.

Now that im thinking about that. What about drug lords? Its something against them. If like in 20-30 years Printed money are not existed. And everything is digital. Then i guess they wont be able to exchange drugs and money. The only they gonna do it its like ex change based on value. like 1kg cocaine for a car.(example)

If bitcoin ever replace fiat (printed) money they will be able to exchange it easily using smartphones, so this won't be a problem.
108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin loses 20% in an hour on: November 24, 2017, 03:17:01 PM
...and then another 20% in the next hour.... after 2 hours we move below 5000 .... and still going down...passing 3000

At which point do you plan on bailing out?

Any rational investor has a stop-loss strategy. It can be different dependent on risk appetite, but is must be there if one is a rational investor.

As a matter of gauging risk-appetite, what is your stop-loss strategy?

Well.. it has already been 1 and half hours, then why are we still above 8k?
Please stop spreading fake news...
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China to launch Wechat coin on: November 23, 2017, 05:48:56 PM

I dont think miners would leave out specially on bitcoin. There might be some possibility of such switch off but i cant think that they would rather focus on new coin than on the established one.

why do you think that will happen? It's very unlikely for the miners to mine a coin created by an government, that too the Chinese government which has been knows to impose restrictions on a lot of things. It's obviously going to be their own centralized 'Cryptocurrency', no one will probably give two shits about it.

If the Chinese government ban bitcoin, miners inside China will have to mine their coin or move out, if they find mining that coin more profitable they will switch to it..

China directions is not clear at all

First , misleading stupid title
There is no China launchign a coin.
It's like saying the US is building a Tesla car or Germany is launching a new yogurt.
A company in China is launching a coin, a huge difference but for ones that actually bother to read and comprehend not just spam the board.

Second , it's old news. Very old news.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-09-15/china-s-wechat-crackdown-drives-bitcoin-devotees-to-telegram

Oh, and miners?
It will (wasn't meant to be) minable.

This is the true side of the story :3
110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin curiosity in value on: November 23, 2017, 04:51:25 PM
The first question is right.. You still have 1 BTC but its value is much higher.
Anyway, what made you think that it will become 3 BTC? I may be able to explain it..
111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hey guys newbies getting into Bitcoin now on: November 22, 2017, 03:09:31 PM
Hey, it's better to keep your BTC in a wallet where you have the private keys..
Here's a post about the types of wallets, choose the one that suits you the most:

112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: INSANE BITCOIN TRANSACTION FEES!!!<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< on: November 21, 2017, 05:19:34 PM
You're right.. bitcoin can never go mainstream with the current high fees and confirmation times..
Anyway they can't set the block size to 1TB because it would allow for DOS attacks that will slow down the network, but it would definitely be better to increase it which they did in segwit but its adoption is too slow. They are also saying that the upcoming lightning network would allow us to make small transactions with almost no fee. So in the end they're trying to solve those problems, just hope they don't take so much time.

You can reed wiki's page about segwit for more info:

113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin does not have limited supply on: November 19, 2017, 09:18:06 PM

And this means in reality that the supply of crypto currency is growing exponentially and without limits

It seems that you are the parrot here...
You can say that cryptocurrencies are unlimited in their supply but "BITCOIN" itself is limited. Your title says "Bitcoin does not have limited supply" and that's totally utterly wrong. End of story.
114  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin falls 20% a day on: November 19, 2017, 03:22:55 PM
It hasn't been a week yet since the drop to 6k. Ups and downs have always been a part of the crypto world and I won't only HODL I will buy!
115  Other / New forum software / Re: Keep SMF Theme on new forum on: November 18, 2017, 09:01:32 PM
Though I haven't been here for long but I do like this theme.

You can browse for hours or even days and it's ok. most forums (99%) suck at this and serious eye damage is the result.

This is so true!

116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin ever fix its high fees and transaction caps? on: November 18, 2017, 01:01:16 PM
I support Bitcoin. But I think it needs to fix its transaction caps and high fees to survive. Will this happen?

As bitcoin grows and more and more people start using it meaning more transactions per second the need for a solution becomes inevitable.. whether it'll happen or not I don't know, but it has to happen if bitcoin is to survive.
117  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Amazon accepting Bitcoin - What can go wrong? on: November 18, 2017, 08:54:08 AM
Let's say we cannot scale to "service" the need for millions of new people who would use

this technology for the first time. What a big embarrassment would it be, if people waited 13 hours for their transactions to

be confirmed.

I don't think this would be the real problem. Normal people won't be using bitcoin to buy stuff on amazon, only people who already own BTC and know about its transaction times would be using this option.
I actually think that amazon accepting BTC would have a really positive effect on Bitcoin and its price.
118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you a True Believer? on: November 17, 2017, 10:23:43 PM
I see alot of people are holding Bitcoins and are convinced that their coins would multiply in value. The same people preach the Bitcoin ideology that its P2P,  decentralised, low to nil send or receive etc.

However, only a small group of people today are using Bitcoins as they were intended. And the fees are not exactly cheap to buy Bitcoins, not to mention those exchange places are basically like banks.

So my question is, are you a True believer of Bitcoins and other Cryptocurrencies that it will one day replace paper money, decentralised and all. Or are you only a believer that the price will continue to climb and you'll one day be a millionaire?

I simply find it fascinating that its apparent, people are preaching the benefits of Bitcoins but they are not using them. Preaching to newbies and drive up the demand and prices of the coins.
Rather, I would love to see people who really believe in Bitcoins, actually going out there and using the coins to purchase products, send/receive coins and let the coins circulate around. I would love to see that day. When the prices are not so volatile, and the coins are being used as they were intended. However, not being volatile also means the prices would rise sharply like it has been this year, which also means you wont be a millionaire holding onto them coins.

So are you a True Believer?

Nice question! Hell yeah I'm a true believer.. I'll be using bitcoin as a currency wherever I could, but the problem here is that you at some point will have to change it to fiat to buy some things.. So I guess that we as a community should be trying to use bitcoin instead of fiat anytime we can so that more companies start accepting it as a way of payment in order to make it the real cryptocurrency we want.
119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Segwit2x will come alive? on: November 17, 2017, 11:32:43 AM
We don't need a fork to invest in bitcoin.. It's continuously rising in price making it a good long term investment.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin or Altcoins? Which is safer or more profitable? on: November 17, 2017, 08:26:03 AM
Investing in bitcoin will always be profitable and the safest way of investing in crypto, as you can see it already recovered sitting at 7.7k right now. However alts can be more profitable if you're a good trader but it's a gamble to invest in them, you may earn big or lose everything you invested. There are some exceptions though.
