41  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Auto updating Wallet balance in Excel??? on: January 28, 2014, 03:52:13 PM
It's pretty simple

Make a excel file, click on "Data" -> From web -> Insert http://altexplorer.net/address/ (your wallet address here) and select block that shows transaction and balance (you need to click on small yellow arrow icon on left side.) and then click on import.

Do this with all your altcoin address and collect all data on same page, for eg:

Then right click on each block and click on "Data Rage Properties" and check "Refresh data when opening the file" option.

Once you add your all wallets data, open Sheet 2 and make a small summary.

For example:

To grab balance from previously created data click type =  and select first cell that shows balance. Eg: 14.2125 COYE
You can then add a total count if you want or you can also grab current prices from various exchange sites and calculate total value of your coins in USD/BTC

Ps: I didn't tested this but I think when any new transaction will come into any address, that last balance transaction will get replaced by new one.

45  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to know if a trader in Localbitcoins is not a fraud? on: December 06, 2013, 07:56:54 PM
Does it mean that he have already traded more than 10k usd? What if those trades are just made up and he's the one who's buying it? Then if someone buys a lot he'll scam the guy?

He cant do scam because escrow is enabled for all online deals. Check localbitcoins faq page to know how escrow works.
46  Economy / Speculation / Re: Only "traders" got burned today on: December 06, 2013, 07:53:23 PM
Yes, the speculators, the "traders" and all... The rest, who sold calmly for profit, or bought by faith are safe.

The ones that were frenetic, making loans to buy coins are burned. Not being to sorry for them, everyone has to learn the lesson. I did also learned it.

Today, many lost their coins. Let's keep a moment of silence for our fallen playground comrades.

Nelson Mandela died yesterday. A fucking hero. Should have a moment of silence for him, fuck the coins.

Lets stop bitcoin trading for a day.

49  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to know if a trader in Localbitcoins is not a fraud? on: December 06, 2013, 07:42:08 PM
Good news for you, prices went down.
Ps: localbitcoins is a good site, just use escrow there.

Trade volume means total amount of bitcoins he have sold there in those 70+ deals
50  Economy / Speculation / Let it grow. on: December 01, 2013, 10:00:16 AM
Don't be too selfish and dont be too worried about bitcoins prices, dont create panic and stop selling bitcoins in cheap prices, if price is going up, its good for everyone.
The more prices will go up, more people will start using it

Bitcoin is future. Let it grow.

I have seen new peoples buying and selling in panic, its not good, they should understand that bitcoin is not a share market, alot development is going around the world, its not going to crash as crash is not good for anyone.

So my new millionaires, dont sell your bitcoins due to panic, keep them, sell them slowly and enjoy your wealth.

Just a reminder to one and all, before taking Rpietila too seriously. He had predicted a bitcoin valuation of several hundred thousand USD by the end of the year. That was during his manic phase, just before he was involuntarily hospitalized. He is now likely in a depressive phase of his bipolar affective disorder and things are therefore bound to look gloomy from his perspective. Or else he just wants to buy cheaper bitcoins... which is fine

He deleted this post and several others from his thread. He's just trying to manipulate peoples mind.

Isn't thats a great way to steal money.
I mean make new wallet, put 0.01 and encrypt it with strong password.
Then post it on forum and tell people to crack it and donate funds on the address
After getting some donations, withdraw all funds and tell others that it got cracked lol
