XC and Cache are going to be assisting each other. Cache is halfway through a complete rewriting of the satoshi codebase in clean oop code. When finished it will be applied to xc and xc features to cache. Good things usually come from collaboration, this is the way the crypto community should be acting instead of everyone fighting.

After what happened this weekend with the whole CRYPT shake down, "he said/ he said allegations" , pointing the finger at "one rouge guy who did it all in secret". I feel going forward that any entity or start-up (coin) business, needs a standardized paper trail in the form of a "contract for hire" for all members of an alt coin team, from the devs to the social media manger. every person in the organization would have to sign a "contract for hire", and would include, their title, job description, name, address, ssn# phone number and a drivers licence with a photo ID. I work in the music recording industry and each musician, engineer, production assistant, etc, fill one out. I am sure there is an organization within this bitcoin/altcoin realm that could oversee this process. (pay them in bitcoin) XC, wanting to be a  a leader in this field might consider becoming the first altcoin team to do this. Furthermore that would make XC's credibility skyrocket! there needs to be a standard for this, and I think XC should lead the way. I would be happy to spearhead this project! ~  Rockstahh

Turns out that even overstock ceo liked xc/cache concept, quoted us in his talk and gave me his email to contact him later

They had a small audience listening to them, remember there is a "hate" from the btc community at alts. They dont generally listen to their talks. This is normal at all the conferences. All the people are frequenting booths while the talks are going on, again normal. Those are the people we want to speak to, not the small audience where we would be preaching to the choir.

Fibonacci is my company, we sponsored the conference and paid for the xc booth and tickets

We dont really care about the throw down, we know what we have and its value.

Not to mention the Fibonacci logo is on everyone's bags and lanyards We are getting all the attention we want from the people we want.

Why would you not take time to promote XC through the throw down?  That is essentially free marketing.  Seems like a wasted opportunity if you do not partake, IMO.

I understand that "you know what you have, and its value" but the whole point of marketing / promoting (which arguably is XC's weakest area) is to tell other people of its value and why they should care.  Again, just IMO.  I fully trust the teams decisions.

We have 2 booths next to each other, the altcoin "throw down" is going on right now. I am watching it from my table.

I'm in the DC area this weekend. If anyone absolutely can't wait and would like some 2nd party verification I would be willing to go check it out AND take pictures for the price of a crowdfunded ticket. Oh that was Perl ++ who started those accusations incase you don't know, he ddosed our forum and we told him that if  it happens again fbi/interpol would be contacted. He's also annoyed because we implemented cloudflare which prevented these attacks. So yes, these are infact lies spread to worsen XCs rep.

Not trying to be a jackaxx but..... there doesn't seem to be any indication that XC is in fact being showcased as described at the Bitcoin beltway conference other than this forum and publication issued from the XC team.  Pictures would help with the confidence level btw.  Images of the both and team at the conference would go a long way folks.. Just saying...

Somebody dare to explain why there are accusations that XC is "made by FBI"? And please don't say that they just wanna tank the price to buy cheap because this is BS answer.

And last night we were helping out some local homeless to fill the empty rooms that remained at the hotel thanks to Seansoutpost.com Jason King. Good works all around. Now today is the conference and the fun begins.
