1021  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: November 22, 2013, 08:25:14 PM
Well, nice to hear back from HF. But still seems that they are going to ship the sierras at the same time as the BJs which is a nice deal to sierras owners and no so good for first batch BJs. Still without answer:

- When are the upgrade chips shipping ? They are included with the first batch ?
- How are they calculating the MPP ?
- Hosting notices ?

Please, if you are not going to offer a nice hosting let us know so we can organize ourselfs with enough time and we do not hurry in the last time to change the shipping adress  Wink
1022  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: November 20, 2013, 10:11:13 PM
I emailed them again on 17th of Nov for any updates about the substrate, pcbs, shipping... Their answer:

Updates coming soon

Lets see how much time is "soon" this time  Grin
1023  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: November 14, 2013, 10:19:20 PM
It seems that ASIC manufacturers make much more money that the miners!!
Why should they ALL ask for our money in front?! To do business with our money? That's the worst way to develop a business!
I am waiting for their telephone to confirm the delivery, otherwise will not pay for the order placed.
Let see what happens...

Yeah its a really bad way to do business, but its like that  Embarrassed

By the way, they will tell you that everything is under schedule and as planned as they did to us back at October when they did not even expect the wafers to be shipped until a week ago.
Do not trust on HF words. They will tell you all you wanted to listen until you are in. Once you are in, say bye bye to any kind of contact or suggestion. These days they did not even answer to the emails and the same for Josh at skype.

Run away now that you can !

If you wanted a real estimated shipping date look at their terms of sale. Until that limit date they will take your money and do whatever they want. We will tell you what happens when that date comes close what is their next brilliant movement
1024  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: November 14, 2013, 09:26:13 PM
Is there any topic about hashfast 1200GH/s ?
I have ordered one today and would like to find out if there are others who did so. January delivery; hope they will be able to keep their word.

Sorry but the first batch is expected to be shipping in mid December IF everything goes well. They have not said a word of the next batches , but I personally think that we could consider ourselfs "lucky" if we got our first rigs in late December

I also posted on the " duplicated " thread that was in mining section and now I realise that there is another thread here and that we all do not count  Angry

Now they do not upload this update to their webpage ? Or they do not post the same thing in twitter every 2 hours ?

I suppose they will wait to have the photos of the wafers and then upload them and they wont say a word of the delays. This marketing strategies seems quite ilegal to me. There is no somewhere we can go to at least shut down their webpage so they do not engage someone else ?

They could send us more emails if they want, the updates are useless same as the order chain and the hashfast customer help, so the only reason to have the webpage is to catch up more customers

By the way they will post photos soon... I think this sounds familiar to me....

The shipping dates in the website have been updated.

-The HashFast Team

And here we are still waiting you to post the delay info in your webpage  and for the photos

Next joke please...
1028  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: November 09, 2013, 11:17:58 AM
Well I am already setup and payment ready for Hashfasts Next Surprise announcements ( I am not allowed to say what it is but i know of 2 up comiming announcements that will shock everyone ( they are good announcement )

I am still waiting to see the update of the delay in their webpage and the photos as they claim. This is just a complete joke and a big marketing strategy.

I also know some of the future plans of HF and for sure they used to be really promising (just words as usual), but with this huge joke they are playing with us, no thanks.

+1000

They have been lying to us from the begining.

Their schedule has been always for end December and now they are trying to save their ass, but they still have NOTHING. They knew this long time ago but if you asked them they would tell you that they were on schedule for mid November, even the second batch
1032  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: November 07, 2013, 09:46:34 PM
Going out on a limb, Im going to hypothesize the "statement" they are preparing is nothing else than a working prototype. And thats why they remained silent and are running late, they are hard at work and want to show the thing working.

Am I betting money on this? Nope, but its just as plausible as all the other theories.

I wish you were right. I would say that the chips are delayed again and we will just see a Babyjet "in production" (prototype) made of a normal pc case, power supply and water cooling. I hope I am wrong  Wink
1033  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: November 07, 2013, 05:15:33 PM
This is what you get if you ask about shipping dates, pcbs  cases and chips photos and many more explanations. Thedy do not even read our messages:
We have received your email and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks,

And now where is cyperdoc and many other HF employs giving us updates in the forum ?
1034  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: November 05, 2013, 11:14:32 PM
Well I will give them until this week as they said me:

I don't have an update right now, but I hope to have one this week.

If in this upcoming update they do not say the things clear, I am just going to take the lawyers way. And by clear I mean where the hell are the pcbs, the cases ( PHOTOs and videos testing, not NDA bullshit) and what happens with the chips.

They have just deleted their Ciara pictures blog entry and uploaded another entry with the SAME pictures where it says:

Here are recent photos taken on the assembly floor at Ciara, HashFast’s exclusive assembly house

Really, now I understand why the have the comments switched off on their webpage. A company that knows that is doing the things in the right way wont try to silence all its customers like HF is doing.
Now where are all the HFs people that were posting so much when they have to get the units sold ? Where are they now ?

1035  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: November 04, 2013, 05:14:41 AM
Well I asked again about any shipping updates and they told me that they "hope" to have one update this week.

They also told me that cases and everything else is being assenbled (check pictures on website they said) and that they are trying to do their best to ship as soon as possible.

I find the comment of the pictures really funny because the only parts shown were a sierra case, psu and cooling, not the pcbs or the case of BJs they claim to be already assenbling. I suposse its also under NDA  Cheesy

1036  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: November 01, 2013, 11:50:29 AM
They hung up your call?

I added John on Skype and asked him some questions on the chat. He didn't even answer me.

I spent 2 days and hours in front of the computer while he was online asking to him if he was there and writing question in the chat so he could take time and read them, but got no answer.

The only time he answered me was when I asked him about buying further products. In that moment he wrote me something like " Hey you want to talk today ? " and I got no more answers.

1037  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: November 01, 2013, 11:14:59 AM
Well I contacted HF again to know any more exact shipping date.

After been answered that they are on track before 31 of December I asked them if they are still on schedule before the 15th of November, if they already got the pcbs, cases produced, the chips from TSMC shipped..... Their answer have been to directly close my case without any answer. This is looking really good  Undecided

1039  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: October 28, 2013, 08:28:38 PM
Well at least in may case I do not want a refund, all I want is to be at least at the same level of profit as the further batches.

From the begining, back in the end of September (you got the quote in the post #2012) they denied any chance of changing the order of a BJ to a sierra (paying the 400$ difference ofcourse).

With the BJ delay a sierra customer will receive x3 hashing power at the same, or in 10 days gap if you want to keep HF offical word and for the same price. I think I prefer to have 1,2Th in end november rather than 400GH now and 1,6 in February (plus the time for shipping the chips/boards and having to buy psus, cooling, cases...).

But the solution is pretty simple, start the MPP from the first day of November or offer the chance to swith into a sierra. The second one wont happen simpley because they do not want to it to happen. There is no excuse and we should be clamining for that long time ago. But the first one is easy and I dont think that for HF shipping the chips that they already claim to have payed 15 days earlier will cause them too much trouble, unless they plan to ship later than they expected, what as a customer, I hope is not happening

The thing is that they seem to be closed to any further suggestion and compensation. We will end having our BJs and a customer that comes on further batches, without any product already shipped is expected to have more profits than us. Not pretty fair  Sad
1040  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: October 28, 2013, 07:25:34 PM
I think folks should take a chill from trying to elaborate or overinterpret the Miner Protection Protection Program on Hashfast's behalf, or tell Hashfast that it must pursue some very particular possibility shakily extrapolated from a few Hashfast statements.

What's important for me is that the first batch customers are made whole, in the sense of Hashfast's pledge:

"We want our customers to succeed.
And let's keep it civil.  HF people are not our enemy.  We have strong common interests.
Sorry but HF got it pretty clear. The MPP will start counting when your unit is shipped, not before.

They do not care if you succeed or not. Please take 5 minutes and look the pages back.

We are not complaining if the MPP is good or not, we are complaining because they offer the 2 batch users x3 hashing power for the same price and they refuse for the first moment to switch the order giving no excuse or reason. You may win money with the BJ, but someone in the batch 2 sierras will win more. Pretty fair, huh ?

Even more, they refuse to listen to any advice or suggestion. They will answer you to with a copy/paste message. If you want more reasons I havent still see any pcb or BJ case, but how about the sierra ?

Edit: I do not want to start any legal action against HF of course, that is the last option, but I have sent them many emails and they do not plan to give you any compensation for the delay and the shorter gap between the 2 batches
