@ninjarobot, if only you had brought a microphone with you that day... (btc refunds)...

>Why 400 we have 570 BJ in Batch one.
270 where converted to Sierra cases? (the 200 BJ order, mine's, and someone else's?)

Did you convert it? I was answering them the same and got this

Even you try just to change the CASE of the BJ for a sierra one in order to fit into a normal dc racks, the answer will be a big NO

This is hashfast  Angry

Hi HashFast_CL,

Would you be able to provide an estimate as to when those who bought into the MPP will receive their additional chips? Thanks!

After the 31 of January  Wink

Please bosag send me the contract as soon as possible and a fast way to put you in contact with HF because they are preasuring me  Wink

By the way, the prices of the 1st page are updated ?

I see 60$ for a BJ while I got a price for 150$ /month. I suposse the price should be adjusted when we finally know how much a BJ is consuming

It does say that 400 BJs were assembled and packaged. I don't they would be packaged without chips. I'm hoping this means shipping will begin in a few days.

I came out here yesterday, with three modules in my carry-on

We made good progress in working out how best to attach the cooling head to the chip in an easy and repeatable fashion.

They took the Baby Jets’ chassis’ out of their boxes and opened them up. Removed their drive bays and other unneeded components. Unboxed the Seasonic power supplies, attached and labeled their cables, and installed the supplies in the Baby Jets. Inserted the cooling unit and radiator. Added an additional chassis fan on the back of the box. Then screwed the chassis back together, put it back in its styrofoam packing material, and stacked each on pallets.

For sure that they have not put any pcbs or chips into the 400 BJs. They are in "progress" on how to mount them and simply insert the power supply, fans and water cooling components. Good job Ciara, HF as usual

What is about the customs, when they ship the upgrades, what worth will they have on the bill, because
I have to pay the customs for every delivery, if they don´t come in one package.

I think the hole worth at the shippment of BJ´s and upgrades are the paid price for one BJ.

Hmm I saw big problems in my glassball with customs if HF declare it other then I think.

 Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh

That is something I asked from day 1.

They will declare FULL VALUE of the product. They will ship the BJ for its value and after the 2nd batch of BJs the upgrades will come.

986  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 17, 2013, 06:50:38 PM
It is time HF reached out to customers to confirm shipping dates and addresses.

I provided a work based shipping address but during the holidays it will be closed. If this is the case I will need to change the address to my home address. i.e. I need to know *when* my unit ships to determine where to receive it.

Also whatever happened to the managed hosting plans? HF will not be able to deliver all 550 units globally before the end of the year (Most postal services are overloaded around Xmas) and merely providing tracking numbers is *not* a substitute for delivery.

HF get your act together.

Yeah they said they will post updated information every day to see all delivery process and orders.

Same as they said 1,5 month ago that in a week they will have notices on the hosting location they were preparing

Same as they said that they are "limited" by the pcb factory that can just handle up to 700 pcbs per day, while Ciara could handle thousands.

Same as they said back in late October that they were still on schedule and that they were going to ask the factorys for some photos on the pcbs, cases..

Same as when I posted the picture of the chip, John told me they expected to be shipping units on 13 of December

Now seriously, it takes them like 8 days to give me a reply of my ticket to change the shipping delivery info. Good luck if they tell you any "expected" delivery time

Now they refuse to change the Babyjet case for a sierra one. Still thinking who was the smart guy who though  " lets put the boards into an oem atx case so the can't have them hosted into the datacenters and then we change them for future batches ". Then cannot even change a 50$ metal case after been 2 months delayed.

Now I have to change the hosting again when they claimed to be offering hosting in a week time, back in October as the pcbs...Really good job HF  Shocked

You ordered a Baby Jet, knowing full well it comes in an ATX desktop case.

You paid for a Baby Jet, knowing full well it comes in an ATX desktop case.

HashFast already got an expensive Corsair ATX desktop case for your Baby Jet.

If you wanted a rackmount Sierra, you should have ordered a rackmount Sierra instead of a Baby Jet in an ATX desktop case.

I ordered that because there was nothing else.

I paid for that, as there was nothing else.

Then a smart guy like you from HF decided to offer a x3 hashing power machine in rack mount at almost the same price. Brilliant !

HF refused to change the BJs into sierras from the first day (even paying the 300-400$ difference)

HF said that there is no need to worry as there will be a month gap between those products and then you also have the  MPP.

HF is 1 month late

HF claims to have a 500Gh/s chip and after 15 days of testing still haven't see a proof of that and then we also have the worst video ever made assenbling some capaciitors ( or trying ) on a pcb

HF is almost 2 months late

BJs and sierras will be almost shipped together and we are all screwed, but specially the ones with the BJs

And you do not say nothing about what they promised back in October ?

Nothing more to say, welcome to my ignore list again  Wink

Yes, probably.
Another point in my favour for my lawyer... But i recall another user complaining of the lack of answers a few days ago, this is why i asked here...

Yeah, I was that user I suppose. I haven't received any answer back from HF tickets ( 10 days ago or so) from John's email or even John 's skype, even he is online all time and reading my messages.  And I was just requesting an invoice and to change the shipping adress as they told me months ago that could be done without problem

Again, as usual HF do not care about nothing more that the money they got in their pocket

HALF A TERRAHASH/s (500GH/s) on a single chip.
HashFast ASIC Golden Nonce- Half a Terrahash Complete bitcoin mining system as found in the BabyJet
This result was achieved during the bringup process of HashFast’s GN chip and module. The engineering team are progressively testing the system, and have not yet reached the full speeds the system was designed for. We expect to see better results over the next few days.
This milestone represents a breakthrough in Bitcoin mining technology and is several times faster than existing Bitcoin mining chips. We are starting volume production of mining systems now.
Stay tuned for further speed results.

Answer to the customers tickets NOW !

I am trying to change the shipping adress, getting an invoice for the customs and asking for changing the BJ case into a sierra one as many did (just to fit into a dc) and I am been ignored for 2 days now. Take care about the customers unless you wanted to pay me thousands in customs fees.
991  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 13, 2013, 09:21:58 AM

Still no word yet that they're shipping us 2x sierras with 5 modules in total each running at 500Gh/s as a result of the lies and deception?

That is not going to happen. I suggested that long time ago and the answer was a big NO. They don't care even a little about customers after they have your money

@HashFast: FiRST TESTS:  UP AND RUNNING! http://t.co/naqM73X1Wg #bitcoin #bitcoinmining

We’ve had an extraordinarily gratifying nine days of testing on the chip and motherboard. On Dec 1, the substrates finally became available and Golden Nonce became closer to a reality. Below is an update from our engineering team on how the chip has performed in tests. (In a word — excellent!)

“We chose a methodical and incremental approach, beginning with a free-standing environment with external power supplies and control logic. The device and substrate combination proved functional outside the motherboard. Low speed mining was performed to establish a baseline of current consumption vs frequency. A baseline of functionality (100%) in conjunction with cgminer was also established, giving us a place to stand should difficulties arise in any of the PCB-related bring up steps.

Next, the chip was placed on a blank motherboard with no other components. Power was provided using an external supply. Control was provided by external FPGA and microprocessor, and a liquid cooler was attached. This allowed testing of the device at about 1/2 speed, proving that motherboard power planes and substrate connectivity are good.

A motherboard with the complete 400 amp power supply but no ASIC was populated and tested under various loads. Power supply basic function was proven.

The last step was to bring it all together. We were pretty confident that it would spring to life — which it did! And from there the fun began. Clock speed was ramped, measurements taken, and finally we ended in full-speed operation of a single die, at temperature, with plenty of overclocking headroom left and an excellent looking power supply. Even the emergency thermal shutdown proved functional — saving the day when a water pump was accidentally left unpowered!”

The coming days should be equally rewarding as systems come together and we move on to all four dies. Look for more updates soon.

PM sent for a BJ hosting  Wink
995  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 08, 2013, 11:18:01 AM
@Visesrion, i personally went for Iceland. Cheap electricity, next to home

But how about shipping fees ?

I am from Spain and they charge around 20% in vat. They will declare the full package value, so the 20% and shipping fees are quite high. That's why I though it would be better to have my unit hosted somewhere in the US.
How much you expect to be charged in shipping fees ? Also, where in iceland are you having your unit hosted ?

I'm going to host them at a local Co-Location here in Texas

Could you send me the link please

Well, now that it seems that the shipment is really close and HF is not going to offer any kind of hosting, which is the best hosting option out there ?

PM and email sent

Answer to me if this is still alive  Wink
998  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 05, 2013, 09:38:18 PM
Sorry Icebreaker, but long time ago HF claimed that they have already ordered and paid the 2nd batch and MPP chips, so now 2 months after that I think they got plenty of time to get the chips.
Apart from that, why they refuse from day 1 to change (by paying the difference at that time) a BJ order into a Sierra one ?
Why the hell you offer a BJ range product if you are thinking on offering a product with x3 hashing power one month later at the same price ? Now with the delay that gap will be nothing

And about the chip or pcb, until I see the chip mining on a video I do not care what they write down. Sorry but if I were at the front of a company with so much money invested by the customers, I will take the mobile or any electronic gadget around and make lot of videos and pictures even it was a tiny update, specially if you are already 1 month late and making them lose money each day
999  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 05, 2013, 09:16:32 PM
Sorry, I can't enjoy my champagne. first I have to know if the will also deliver the 4 extra modules along with the initial shipment to make their customers (investors) happy and in a good mood to come back and by more from HF.

+10 man !

They wont do that. Is sugested that and the answer was a big no long time ago. The ugrade chips are coming after the 2nd batch and the MPP chips after 31st of January. They could have done the things well time ago by switching the BJs into the sierras to compensate, but as their schedule was to deliver by late December they are doing the things really well covering their back with legal tos.

By the way, did I miss the part of how much hashing power is the chip mining or they just wanted to post some technical update that says "we are still testing the chip" and we have no pcbs  Embarrassed
1000  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 05, 2013, 05:53:58 PM
They told me that they will try to post on twitter a photo of the actual chip testing to proof that they are really doing so.

Then about the hosting, they have nothing. So if you were waiting for a hosting solution from HF you better find another one Sad
