Hey!
I'm interested in this project and I will follow and support this thread . I can see this project will bring back more profits for investors. Yes, That's a good idea for all of us in the future.
Seems that is a good sign that crypto could be a thing that everyone should know in the future

It build so many pools for many coins .I mine in the other coin's pool and never happen like this . There are my 20000XSS in that pool. Damm!!!
you should seriously considering to eliminate the risk factor in mining. A pool that collects all your income at first always has the risk of either robbing themselves or getting robbed by a third party. there are always security risks in any platform. A p2pool does not collect the income in any way. it creates the payout table at the moment the block is created and distributes the payout list (block generation code) among the whole network - which is essentially why we are doing this whole crypto currency stuff, aint it? security? no manipulation possible? you only need to use your wallet softwares rather than paying out directly to exchanges. Using the currency wallets associated with the currency itself is part of the fun!

sorry for asking such a stupid question, but the 1.1 windows wallet is weird? when I download and extract it, it's not an exe file. renaming it to exe results in a non-functioning file. Anyhow, I don't have much data volume left to keep trying and searching, so if any one feels helpful enough to send a PN with a properly working (latest windows) build of heavycoin, I'd appreciate your help!
cheers florian

Thanks rav3n. Though I did have that figured out. (Forgot to update post, sorry) Where I was really stuck at is the share header checking. Submitted shares and even blocks fail to get approved.

Interesting.. both Novahash and Hashfever pools are down stating database problems on their Funk Pools. P2P seems to be fine. Anybody have an idea what our global rate is? looks like it's up a bit even with those pools down as our diff has raised a bit.
the big advantage of having a p2pool network with multiple nodes

sweet :-) as for the algos. i think keccak is forgiving too. i8 - i14 is about the same result too and nothing special set, all that counts is the gpu clock. same with hefty. running that at i10 with maximum gpuclocks^^ seriously, i'd think hefty might be the way to go for it being the newest, yet it has proven to be reliable.

I still think being on scrypt isn't a bad thing. ASICs aren't supposed to be scary at all.
I don't own one and I don't mind them coming out.
Here's one thought though!
Mainstream noncrypto users HATE to fiddle around with thread concurrency, etc. Guess what - some algorithms don't care about specific settings.
Keccak or even Hefty (X11 too?) they do no require perfect settings to run at maximum speed.
if somehow we do consider to switch, do at least switch to something to make it more mainstreamfriendly. (and btw hefty, X11 and keccak are very power friendly)

Maybe it's just me, but the only working pool I can find is hashfever. Anyone know what happened to all the P2P pools?
is the main one not running properly? let me know!
No it's working. It was my pc, not the pools. I've thrown a bit at it occasionally, but no blocks. I didn't try for very long though. well for me it's down for 12 hrs or so now, what's the trouble? Are you sure that this is down for you? http://94.23.196.92:36363(stratum+tcp://94.23.196.92:36363)
