421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XSS] Stability Shares - Hyperbolic reward curve on: March 10, 2014, 09:31:24 PM
Are there issues with the mining or wallet of this coin right now?

looks strange. could be that an old wallet found a block after the hard fork and messed the chain up? (just a thought! no facts!)
422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: The Cypherfunks[FUNK]! Internet band & coin. For the musicians. 9 songs out! on: March 10, 2014, 04:08:03 PM
I'm keen to develop a lightweight wallet (I've worked with Bitcoinj before, so I can probably do this easily).

So that will mean a multibit equivalent for The Cypherfunks.

Or would you guys rather want a Twitter/Reddit tipbot first?

light weight wallet - don't think it would make a difference now. Though it could be a bonus for popularity! Tipperbots? (Oh, they just aren't my thing at all) But hey, that really just seems to be me Smiley
423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XSS] Stability Shares-Hyperbolic reward curve- JUST LAUNCHED! ON EXCHANGE! on: March 10, 2014, 04:01:31 PM
What happened to cryptopirates? I had 400+ in there and now their offline.

Are they really pirates :-)

That's now the third time someone complained about missing funds... That's not going to happen with a p2pool Wink Keep that in mind!

@the miner with address Xox3FLhoNehKznfBidj9omTnN4rGP5uBQz
please check your hardware, something seems to have gotten sick or so. (pool is running fine as it seems)
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XSS] Stability Shares - Hyperbolic reward curve- HARDFORK READ INSIDE on: March 10, 2014, 07:55:52 AM
Good work, this coin still mines very well Smiley

it certainly does! Our P2Pool has 0.0% rejected most of the times for the miners (http://94.23.196.92:7777) which is awesome for a p2pool! :-) Glad it's running that good. Thanks for the active miners!

Blocks are found on a regular basis due to the rather undervalued difficulty! Should get in while it's that low!

@rest: How are larger/more established exchanges coming? Mintpal? Cryptsy? Have you been in contact with AtomicTrade?
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [HVC] Heavycoin - CPU-only, Ultra-secure, Decentralized Voting on: March 10, 2014, 07:52:15 AM
Can the Devs use a measely 4 out of their 170 BTC to vote HeavyCoin up to the top of MintPal Voting? https://www.mintpal.com/voting

It's the least you guys could do after a fairly unsatisfying launch.

Not a bad thing. Sure, 5BTC is a bunch of money, but considering it's only a small part out of the 170BTCs, it might be a smart choice for the coin's life as well. Mintpal has become one of the biggest and most beloved exchanges today.

What is a P2Pool? It's a decentralized mining pool network. Usually multiple nodes act as one big pool together. However, due to this fresh launch, this is the only node available at the moment. So what do you gain from this "P2Pool" then? You're basically finding mini-blocks for a sharechain and whenever a share of this sharechain is greater or equal to the difficulty of StabilityShares (XSS), a block is found and the payout is immediate! In the block creation code, your wallet address is implemented and the block pays directly to you. No middleman! No risk!

We are ready for hard fork at 3700 block!

Please, give it a try!

WOW! 10MHs+ and 6 blocks in the last hour! Come join us and support a fantastic way to mine! Hashrate spreading is important for the network! Keep that in mind when joining other big pools! It can hurt value of the coin in the long run!

Epic stuff!

5 new songs have been released this weekend! Kicking ass.

Beranie's EP has been re-released under "The Cypherfunks": https://soundcloud.com/beranie/yue-xia-du-zhuo-ep-mix

&

The first full collab within "The Cypherfunks": a remix of Florians' BeatWeavers. Vocal version coming soon: https://soundcloud.com/simon-segfault/weavers-instrumental

Total songs now up to 9. And the first seps pack has been posted as well. Exciting times ahead.

Love that instrumental remix. Awesome job, Simon! 250'000 FUNK for ya Wink

I dont undestand
How to mine this coin?
With cgminer 3.7.2 is possible?
And no pool available?

This pool http://hvc.1gh.com working good

I follow this step and create a .bat but it cannot work

minerd.exe -a heavy -v 1024 -o stratum+tcp://hvcpool.1gh.com:5333 -u WALLET -p x

the miner from http://hvc.1gh.com already includes a bat file. edit it with your own wallet address, leave the rest as is and double click.
be sure to select the proper folder. 32bit or 64bit depending on your installed windows edition!
429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [HVC] Heavycoin - CPU-only, Ultra-secure, Decentralized Voting on: March 09, 2014, 01:18:08 PM

Nope  - my wallets are:
HFqXCEKBGhc8mJHAWDX1gt9Ty7Zw4wsN9G
HBWuMwc8LhV29TNY9NGonmMk3H3a3y6Vor
and 232 is
HKsoAehjBxw6ZcryyDpq18vtrLCSQptjdk

One last try to be completely sure that block didn't get in for you:

do a the following for each value (block 231, 232 and 233 to be on the safe side, you know sometimes 0 = 1 and such or 1 = 0 Wink)

"dumpprivkey HKsoAehjBxw6ZcryyDpq18vtrLCSQptjdk" (DO NOT SHOW ANYONE THE RESULT!)
"dumpprivkey HViGsRt6mWxDgyTQYQ3cSQ4jBFjLEQ6nuS" (DO NOT SHOW ANYONE THE RESULT!)
"dumpprivkey HBLjnubyYqnJsBuTm4b9DjsXwTMatpg9k5" (DO NOT SHOW ANYONE THE RESULT!)

If none of these go through successfully, then you are not in possession of the 657HVC from each of these blocks.
That's what is called an orphaned block Wink

No change after deleting/executing as you suggested.

So the blocks do not show up anymore?

we could check a block explorer for one specific block with "address" "blockhash" and "transactionsid" if it all points to each other or not. if not, they are orphaned.

declaring shenanigans on my wallet..

was mining solid solo on encrypted wallet but unlocked..

was hitting 30k coins then synch started going up and down showing :Immature 1900-25k + coins then 30k+ then back down to 1500.

reloaded wallet several times then coins went to zero and noticed the status : Immature disappeared.

looked at my transactions and noticed i was self mining showing transaction from my own address back to my own wallet (my own fork) then after that was different transaction addresses showing.

coins are now 0 after showing 30k plus immature.

anyone else get that?

ua

When you solo mine and find blocks, they are created/generated into a new walletaddress for each block you find. Example: you can do a "dumpprivkey" on the walletaddress that is associated with the block found and import it into another wallet. Solo mining does NOT mine into your existing wallet address and will not show up there. (this only works by going trough a p2pool mining software)
so if you solo mine blocks, make sure to backup the whole wallet.dat afterwards (after finding blocks). a privatekey of the main wallet address will not recover solo mined blocks.

Did that help you?

Guys, return for some mining! P2Pool is now at its final location with a stronger, faster and more responsive connection as well with quicker hardware (3.4GHz IvyBridge!)
We are on the hard-fork client and you can now safely mine through the hard fork with us!

You don't want me to find these blocks all by myself, do you?

Heavycoin Mac OS X Wallet Fix

Here's the fixed Heavycoin Mac OS X Qt Wallet. I've sent details on the fixes to keccak512, who, among several things, is currently trying to service all the IPO procedure 2 investors. The/an updated wallet should be featured on the ANN and on the site asap.
