1123  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcointalk Registrations closed-off since Oct 10, 2013 on: October 13, 2013, 09:13:32 PM
Hello,

A friend of mine who is interested in posting on these forums, emailed me and mentioned that registrations seem to be closed-off.

On the offset it looks like an error, however I am wondering if the powers that be decided to stop at 150k members!

Was there a reason for the shutdown?

Recently the forum has been hacked; admins are still sorting things out.
1124  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Whats the Best Bitcoin Wallet ? on: October 13, 2013, 11:54:07 AM
secure
...
no annoying validation

these requirements are contrasting: the more validation is easy less secure it is.

Anyway best online wallet is inputs.io, best local wallet is multibit

Ma toglimi una curiosità, la bibbia da chi è autografata?
Ora che quelle firmate da Elvis sono finite puoi scegliere tra Cristina D'Avena e Gigi D'Alessio.

The algorithm that generates those numbers is quite obscure but looking at other's people feedback is useful even if you don't trust them

1134  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: PyraLottery: the first clever lottery in the world (based on Pyramining service) on: October 11, 2013, 07:45:18 AM
Thanks for the tip! I will update the math on my site.

But I think you are also wrong. So, please, correct me again, or confirm this example ;-)

Case A: you invest 100 BTC using a normal sponsor
Case B: you invest 100 BTC using my Extra Bonus promotion

Let's suppose, for simplicity, that every account gets 10% of deposit during an undefined period.

In case A you get 100 * 10% - 30% => 7
In case B you get (100 * 10% + 100 * 10% * 15%) - 30% => 8.05

Case A break even time: 100 / 7 = 14.2857 periods
Case B break even time: 100 / 8.05 = 12.4224 periods

Case B saves 13.04% break even time.

Mmmm... I don't think so but I'm not sure.

Perhaps it's better asking pyramining himself.

Ok people, don't make the same mistake again!

Invest money you don't need and you can afford to lose in bitcoins and hope in future quotations keep going up.
