I think that 0.006 Buy order is gonna be removed right before shares are transferred. I think its a bait to get people to bid above .002 thinking that it's what the price should be at so someone can sell out for a reasonably decent price. Pretty smart, I doubt it will work though.

Absolutely, when trading goes live we WILL (and you can mark my words) hit 0.0005 and probably stay there for at least a few days, maybe even a week or two. This pressure cooker has been steaming and shaking for weeks and a lot of people want to get out. And that's fine, for ideological (grr we're mad at Ken and going to sell our shares because that'll show him), practical (I kinda need some money so going to cash some out), or panic (oh god, chips don't exist, this is all a massive scam, the sky is literally falling!) reasons there will be heavy sell pressure. Over time, [assuming] more info gets released and progress is made on our chips the market will revalue our shares.

To those seeing the bids at 0.006 or the 0.012 from earlier, those are obviously joke prices [at this point in time] but that does not mean that we will never hit those levels, I fully believe we will, but it will take a few weeks. My out of the ass guess is 0.012 before the end of January 2014. No one can see the future, so I guess we'll see if the above comes to pass or if I'll be drinking alone in the dark thinking about what could have been. Here's hoping it's to the former!  Grin

Yeah I pretty much agree with you've said. If things go smoothly I can see people jumping the gun with rising BTC prices and bring the share way above actual valuation come January (People in this BTC investment game don't all have a concrete understanding at fair valuations of companies. Even I don't.)

At .012 I'll be hard pressed not to sell out and pay off some of these college fees. But I think we will hit a new low before we hit an ATH. I'm even ready to get in on the ground floor when we do get low ( VE didn't let me buy 10k Shares for .0001 D= ) since I've already bought the BTC for them.

Is anyone planning to deduct the labcoin loss from their taxes? With bitcoin so high that could amount to a significant deduction.

How will you do this? How will you explain the tax agency that your investment in an unregulated security isnt a private pleasure? What proofs will you give? I think thats not really possible. And thats the problem there is with bitcoins.

Claim you bought into BTC at the price $1100 and had to sell out at $650?

Since tomorrow is Wednesday, should we expect and announcement from Ken. Or does this trend of Wednesday announcements start next week?

Crumbs has a point here... at the moment we have nothing and there is still a long way between us having nothing and having anything at all. Not saying it isn't going to happen, it just that we don't have much to guarantee that we will have anything. Having said that, I believe Ken is trying to make this happen and obviously hope he is successful.

Yes he does have a point. The same point he has had for he last month or so. The same point everyone else has. This discussion seems unnecessary seeing as how we've had it about 100 other times already.

Seeing some good news on the forum these passed few days. Digging it.
567  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: December 09, 2013, 10:32:33 PM
When we called Labcoin a scam. Did the investors believe us? No, not until Sam went and disappeared. So why do you think this will be any different. If you think AcTM is a scam and call it a scam over and over expecting people in this thread to believe you. You are by the definition of the word itself, insane. You are repeatedly doing something that you know won't meet results, but you keep doing it anyway. I don't think it is a scam. Until I am convinced by my own free will that it is a scam, nothing anyone can say from their speculation can change my mind. Will this probably backfire on me? It might. But I don't have my emotions tied up into this. I see evidence that this company is not a scam and I act accordingly. If you see evidence that this company is a scam, feel free to act accordingly. BUT repeating the same thing (this stupid fucking discussion) over and over every day without getting the results you want is by the definition itself insane.

I ask that we stop this discussion.

@FMAG Please read. The first picture in this quote shows where the Public Bitcoin Address is. You had to set this yourself.

Can anyone inform me if Ken has officially announced what to do with our shares on bitfunder?

I know he has an exchange in the works but with the looming Nov 1 deadline I need to get my bitfunder shares out ASAP!

Posts from Ken: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1707;sa=showPosts

Thanks, tendered to AMC-TENDER - feels very worrisome but I trust ken.

Are there any other precautions I should take.  I have set up my bitfunder with a bitcoin address that I control and can sign from.

EDIT:  And just to be absolutely sure, is this the address that is important?

yes that's the one. that address shows on this public list: https://bitfunder.com/assetlist, prior to tendering your shares

EDIT:
I also PM'd Ken the transfer timestamp, my public bitcoin address and number of shares…

Yes, everyone should have a public bitcoin address that they can sign.

Also keep a full screenshot showing your bitfunder username, and the transfer transaction of the transfer to AMC-TENDER.

This is your proof of the number of shares transferred.

We may need you to send a message from that public bitcoin address with the details of your transfer at a future time.

Please don't PM your transfer information.

I cannot even believe the amount of utter crap taking place in here.

Why do I bother.

Some of it is pretty funny and you wanna be update to date on any new information that might come out (probably not gonna happen anytime soon).
570  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: December 08, 2013, 09:26:27 PM
Hey guy's. I honestly just stop reading whenever it gets to crazy in here, but I just wanted to clarify my list of trolls was up to date. I have ignored crumbs, VE, and pankake (reference to cum, however you spell his name). Did I make a mistake with any of these 3, anyone else I should know about to preserve my sanity.

note to 3: I don't know what you're saying cause your ignored and I'm not gonna take the time to check.

I'd advise you don't ignore any of the three. Crumbs VE and Pankkake bring up good points every blue moon and they usually call out the bullshit that no one else does with the information we get. Also Ken has a habit of replying to VE more than anyone else so VE has more insight about the company than others here IMHO. Pankkake might troll but he seems rather intelligent when he brings up actual concerns. I will say that I've learned quite a bit from all three of them when I take the time to filter through the bullshit. Ignoring anyone on this thread is a bad idea IMHO. Just because you don't agree with what they say doesn't mean you should censor yourself from other people's thought processes and explanations for something you might not have a good grasp on.

Hi Ken,

Any idea when we can expect to go live on crypto-trade?

Ken informed some of us on IRC last night that he expects to have the share verification site up by the end of the week.

Thank you!
572  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: December 08, 2013, 05:58:00 AM
BF shows that my assets have been transfered to issuers.I have some assets of Active Mining and I wanna know what should I do to claim the shares.

Shares are awaiting transfer over to CryptoTrade. Make sure you know the email address you are signed to Bitfunder with and the Public Wallet Address (that you are able to sign with) on bitfunder and you should be good. You are advised to take a screen shot showing you own shares btw or if you transferred your shares to AMC-TENDER. Then take a screenshot showing the confirmation of the transfer in the transaction logs.
573  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: December 08, 2013, 05:28:50 AM
Ken, if you think we can stay on target by "Giving you December and January" then we won't be against it (I assume, though I don't exactly know what this means). That is not the problem. We gain a lot of our information about this company from other investors who go into reporter/spectator mode every other week and post new information they dug up or were able to work out from your very vague post. As it has been pointed out before, if you can inform us about information before we have people here emailing/calling your family, employees and associates then the people in this thread will stop doing it.

Just like you want December and January to line everything up and have the company rolling, investors want to see the timeline; want to see that you are on track; want to help out where we can, want to know if we are falling behind schedule and if so, why? All you have to do is keep us informed with the good news AND the bad news. That's it. We have stated before that you should hire a PR person if possible, also hire hands to help you build the machines if necessary. Just keep us informed. It's the silence about it all that cause the thread to go crazy.
574  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: December 07, 2013, 11:19:34 PM
Sebastian I agree but people call any doubt posted on the forums "FUD" and "Trolling" and when we ask Ken a question they respond "He already answered that (by dodging the question)". And these people only seem to be happy when Ken post something. They claim to "ignore" anyone who is bringing up concerns but then complain that that person is still posting in the thread: "Omg I have VE on ignore but you are quoting him so I'm going to complain and whine because I can't just scroll passed it.". Easiest way to satisfy them is to have them just check Ken's posts. Apparently that's all they care about. If they want to complain about looking through a forum (voluntarily) because they are invested in a company (voluntarily) then they need to get used to the fact that not all the discussion on this discussion thread is going to be between two mature people or just leave the thread and dump their shares at the earliest possible moment.
575  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: December 07, 2013, 09:09:36 PM

I don't even think they are close to being done with Intellihash. My assumption is right now they are in the debugging phase, if that. Coding is a small portion of developing software.

This can't be true because in the debugging phase of anything software, you have to run it a lot. Either it is done or it is not for real or Ken does not transfer the generated coins to the address anymore.

Yeah but it's not a beta test. Maybe they aren't making it hash, just turning it on and testing the software. I don't think it means they have to mine with it. Maybe they don't have the chips and have outsourced the development? These are just some educated guesses. We believed the extra hashrate were sample chips, we gained news that Ken was working on software AND due to this software, extra software modification has to be done to the sample chips. Maybe whoever gave us the chips is doing modification to the software the chips were previously using. There are two different pieces of software that need to work with each other I am assuming. The one used to run the chips and the Intelihash software which provides this 20% increase as difficulty goes up.
576  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: December 07, 2013, 08:58:17 PM

Testing sample chips by mining I am assuming. Noticed they needed to modify software for said sample chips. Stopped mining with said sample chips so they can modify the software for said sample chips. No more massive transactions while sample chips are not mining.

OK, but the time-frame between the last regular div payout and the last big inbound transactions is about a month. So no more tests since then? And 4 weeks of test runs was enough to develop IntelliHash? No thermal tests since then?

This goes contrary to all I know about software development (and which I believe to be true for FPGA development too).

I don't even think they are close to being done with Intellihash. My assumption is right now they are in the debugging phase, if that. Coding is a small portion of developing software.

Guys,  Question.

How do I get into Bitfunder.  I lost my phone that I use the 2 step google authy on during this whole bitfunder mess.  I cant log into bitfunder since the password was set up for my old phone.  How do i bypass google authy, or use my new phone to get into my bitfunder account to get the transfer info.

Thanks

Jason

Probably going to have to get into contact with Ukyo directly.
578  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: December 07, 2013, 08:22:03 PM
WTF ist going on (or not going on) @ https://blockchain.info/charts/balance?address=1DJpsvnM7xTnQbWEhLYyCyfxQyxwupEzCa

There were three huge incoming transactions and since then nothing. Where did those come from? Rumor had it those were from prototype miners, but AFAIK that has never been denied or confirmed. Now nothing. If the fabulous IntelliHash thingie is working, should we not get coins from test runs from time to time? Because if it is indeed finalized and sent off to eASIC or still being worked on then Ken must have run tests on real silicon - you cannot do this in a simulator alone.

Testing sample chips by mining I am assuming. Noticed they needed to modify software for said sample chips. Stopped mining with said sample chips so they can modify the software for said sample chips. No more massive transactions while sample chips are not mining.

Gahhhh.. if you guys would of just been quiet. Ken would have had to come on here and actually give us concrete news. But since people want to answer shit with vague as ideas now he can slip passed this one too.
580  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: December 07, 2013, 04:29:17 PM
Is this in reference to the 15Million shares of his or his own smaller personal amount (I'm pretty sure someone said he had a smaller personal amount of shares.) DAE see that price dip? Crazy man. =) (I jest).

The smaller amount Ken purchased with his own Bitcoin.

Thank you!
