So some of us still believe this announcement will be before Turkey day (two days away)?

I find it kind of funny how some people are saying Ken said there will be an announcement in November. These quotes are weeks old. That means Ken has been sitting on news for weeks and not telling us for what possible reason? What ever information Ken has had for the last two to three weeks, I think it is passed the time to tell us investors. You've had enough time to prepare for whatever response (good or bad) you think it will bring. If are not going to inform us now, can you give us an exact date for when you will be making your announcement concerning the mining aspect of the company.

Ken did recently share with me that we are slated to be on a new, centralized, exchange once transfers complete. This is an intermediary step, as a decentralized solution is the end goal. I'll shoot him a PM so he can officially address this. (I'd quote him but it was via IRC and I don't have a log.) He did not say what exchange he was working with, but the exchange was ready to create accounts/move shares, so it should all happen quick once it happens.

I can confirm this, I have been on the test exchange and it seems close to operational.  This was maybe a month ago - the prelaunch URL he had given me is no longer up so perhaps it has moved to a new server.

just adding this

Last week I asked Ken if there was anyway to purchase additional shares and he said not yet, but soon

Last week I asked Ken if divs are gonna be big enough for me to buy a unicorn. He said probably. /s

This is kind of what you guys sound like. Just want you guys to realize we would like Ken to actually come on the thread and say it to all his investors. Not through PMs.

As we are entering a week of Giving Thanks here in the USA, it sure would be nice if NovemberAnnouncement™ DID NOT turn into DecemberAnnouncement™.

+1

Is there any "announcements" due? When?

Before the end of November, so within a week

Is this definitive?

Some type of public ledger (not sure if i'm using the right word) would be a good idea. As much transparency as possible is always best.

Cross Posted Here from "Hire A Troll"

NEW BUSINESS MODEL:

Any bitcoins sent to 1EpdhQNyr2H288XXaiT7ho7vg1qHHLg8hq will count towards the Make pankkake stop posting Fund.

This entails all Bitcointalk posting, IRC on any channel having bitcoin in its name, same with subreddits (though I have no reddit account, thank god), etc. Since most of this activity is public, it is very easy to check.

Current price is 0.1337 BTC per day. For example, if 0.1337 BTC is sent, I will have to shut up for at least 24 hours - any slippage is considered void and I have to redo it.

I have a lot better solution which will put an end to your business.  Send 1 BTC a day to  1DJpsvnM7xTnQbWEhLYyCyfxQyxwupEzCa for all the problems you have caused or I will give away this solution to any one that wants to make you STFU.  I will be deploying this in our Active Mining thread soon and you will see what it does.

Oh shit, announcement soon. Hold on to your asses.

Holy shit.

Thank you for confirming something that only one person in this community didn't know.  We'd be lost without you.  Wink
Wait, what? Did you completely miss the point... again?
You publicly proved - unwittingly - that you overused the word FUD, and that you probably don't understand it. Do I need to explain again why you are making a fool of yourself?

You're putting people on this forum on the same intellectual level as you. You shouldn't even waste your time.
668  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 22, 2013, 10:20:21 PM
Ken really holds the path to Shangri-La for a lot of his investors here. I'll praise him as a Messiah if he gets all this to work. It's crazy how much BTC is blowing up and if he really gets us hashing away we can end up being some of the most profitable people in BTC for the coming months. /cheerleading

Anyways. Do you guys expect an announcement (good or bad) before or after Turkey day? For the non-Americans that is Thursday November 29th.
669  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 22, 2013, 03:40:25 AM
They just raised $23.5 to expand their operations in the US and Europe.

http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/09/09/ca-easic-idUSnBw095707a+100+BSW20130909

I am just trying to think about the possible things VE is talking about.

Lets assume none of the eASIC employee will leak information about particular contracts, so what could it be?

Perhaps knowledge that 28nm experimental development will be several months behind schedule?

I have no idea, VE should really voice his concerns, no one can trade stock at the moment so there can't even be panic sells, he should just come out with it.
Could be a delay, could just be complete BS.

Why would VE tell us this? This man is purely focused on getting a return on his 50k Shares (not that this is a bad thing at all). If I had insider information about eAsic, knew Ken was in a huge hurry to get us on an exchange, and want to make my money back. I would sit back relax and wait for that exchange. Then after I sold for a healthy profit, drop the information and if there was still profit to be made in having stock in the company then I would buy up cheap shares. There is no reason VE would share quality information with us imho.
670  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 22, 2013, 03:36:22 AM
A friend of mine talked to someone from eASIC today and I have some information I would like to share with key people in this thread.  Very disturbing actually.. more details tomorrow, not sure how much i want to share publically at this point until we make some necessary phone calls
A friend of yours talked to a friend of his that just so happens to work for eASIC and you have the inside scoop on the status of a contract under NDA...

It might not be contract related, if the news is that eASIC is about to go bankrupt then what can we do?

Yo you are the most subtle troll I've ever seen. No normal person would buy this shit.
671  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 22, 2013, 03:13:51 AM

Let's just let this dead horse lie, Ken will do as he wants regardless of what we speculate on this thread.

i agree, this has been the consistent theme.

Ken's got it under control. He's been working really hard.

Also, not that I can see his posts, but anyone else find it interesting how crumbs hasn't really been too active since bitfunder shut down? It's almost like he was trying to crash the stock when we didn't have too much going for us, just to get more shares. That or maybe he's just crazy.

It's still around more than enough. Luckily most of the posters on this forum (not even just this thread) have it ignored so there's been less actual confrontation and more it just talking to itself.

Cut off one head and another will spawn in it's place.

Naw I'm j/king can't wait for this announcement VE, I'll anticipate it in lieu of Ken's. hah..
672  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 22, 2013, 12:05:28 AM
Ken is the CEO and he calls the shots, but I think it would be beneficial to all if we had a dialogue about how these coins are going to be used.

We know the necessary secrecy around chip development, but here is a very important aspect of the business that can be openly discussed. With all the questions (almost all unfair) around the business choices made during the last few months, I think Ken could use this opportunity to show he is clued-up and has a realistic proposal for the coins which is based on a realistic attitude to the bitcoin market.

Hmm. Dialogue about how the coins should be used.. Buy more of our own equipment to mine with.. Hmm.. yeah think we covered all the basis for that.

I mean seriously what else do you guys want him to do with the coins?
673  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 20, 2013, 10:32:43 AM
IMPORTANT!

I don't know if it was already adressed here, but I think I should share this information:

for all people holding money still at bitfunder.com, WeExchange withdrawals don't work!!! Please read this link:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=316546.0

AT THE MOMENT IT LOOKS LIKE WEEXCHANGE.COM IS A SCAM!

Why would Ukyo Scam when he already had the SEC give him a call? That makes no fucking sense. I hope Ken deletes these two posts asap.
674  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 19, 2013, 09:38:03 PM
So if the 1.4k BTC (or a portion) are still with us then when is the best time for Ken to convert to FIAT?

We could have got 800USD last night for them, 500 this afternoon or 700 now. Tomorrow or in a few days they could be back in the 3-400 range.

Any thoughts on this.

Or next week they may be worth $2,000 each.

You cash them in when they are needed regardless of price as at that point, the new mining equipment that comes from that will make more BTC than was cashed out by far.

Speaking of which, it is the third week of November. Some groundbreaking news should be due soon.

+1 and.. another +1
675  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 19, 2013, 07:24:37 PM
Yeah of course. So your calculations are based on one of the worst case possible with working equipment which is even better than I thought then. I would love  $.013 divs/share per week though.
676  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 19, 2013, 07:07:19 PM
Why use USD on a BTC payment with a BTC return?

If we could have paid for these shares in USD (Like miners purchase their gear) then I can see the USD usage but in a strictly BTC environment nope

For those interested in fiat value, of course.

Also, I need to apologize to your Bargraphics, I said that 5% of the TNH was "crazy" and/or "insane" and after crunching some numbers now realize that those are not the proper words for describing ACTM's odds of holding 5%.

Can we not include the 1,000,000ish we got sitting around from preorders  ( I know this money covers ordering customer equipment but would expect some money to be left over for our own equipment) which includes the 3xx,xxx that was paid for with BTC which should be worth more now. Wonder how much money Ken has kept as BTC.

Let me know if I'm completely off as I'm not the most business adept.
677  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 19, 2013, 12:32:01 PM
...
I can't really see how Ken will relate wallet addresses with transfered shares, or how we can prove that after Bitfunder's shutdown, and how we will then prove those wallet addresses are ours.
...

It's very scientific and complicated, but Ken's on top of it.  Besides, it's under The NDA just like everything else, so if you talk about it, you mess up all the science and make FUD instead.  You just gotta believe Angry

...
Yes all you have on here are Trolls and the 'speculator wishful thinking types'. As you've just kind of insulted both groups who do you think is going to answer your question?

Kroy101 has no use for answers from trolls or investors in denial.  He seeks rational, concise, authoritative answers, which i am glad to provide.

Hmm.. "rational, concise, authoritative answers". Then why didn't you answer him with "By signing a message with your BTC address" instead of some "NDA mumble jumbo"you rambled on about?

I can somewhat understand where DTS is coming from.. From his point of view, at any one point of the day he is possibly around the corner from retirement.
It has to be a somewhat emotional feeling Smiley

That's all well and good but he is on here everyday whining. If you can see his point of view then why are you not on here whining everyday? It's because you have some self control. He needs to learn that no one here can do anything to speed up the process or help this company succeed other than Ken. And Ken is most likely not reading all these complaints. The best thing DTS can do a long with the rest of us is hope for the best and prepare for the worst. Not scream "This is never gonna succeed" while hoping for it to succeed. He just needs to relax, it's almost Thanksgiving, go spend some time with your family DTS and relax, you'll know soon enough whether or not this company is going to make you rich as all fuck soon enough. We all waited months, what's a couple more weeks at most?
679  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 19, 2013, 10:12:05 AM
Maybe Ken started taking half the Divs starting at that point for reinvestment.

What I meant was those 0.25 payments are the same amount as the 0.5 payments. If Ken took half, those 0.25 payments would be half as frequent.

I think Ken is taking half the eASIC miner amounts as reinvestment.

Oh I see what you mean. That is weird but it doesn't seem to be a bad thing.
680  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 19, 2013, 09:52:35 AM
One question which I may have missed, is there a reason why our address, https://blockchain.info/address/1DJpsvnM7xTnQbWEhLYyCyfxQyxwupEzCa, has switch from installments of 0.5 BTC to 0.25 BTC ever since the 3.XXX BTC deposits on the 11th?

I am not sure why the denominations are 0.25 instead of 0.5, although I calculated they are from the same hardware (The Avalons and Klondikes) The prototype payments were those large random transactions but we have not had one for ages, perhaps the prototype is unstable?

Maybe Ken started taking half the Divs starting at that point for reinvestment.
