201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be aware, so many scam coins are around on: January 18, 2020, 04:24:20 AM
We live in perilous times and need to be extra careful because several projects are up to take advantage of the gullibility of cryptocurrency enthusiast. I feel very disappointed when I see people investing in projects out of greed. These projects always seem to have a strategy to lure her victims.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Forks were profitable today - what happened? on: January 16, 2020, 04:52:22 AM
I also noticed the sharp increase. The increment rose to over 90% as at the Last time I checked yesterday. I believe this is another indicator that the bull run is fast approaching and it may come like a thief in the night. So we need to be watchful, fill up our bags and strategies for the next bull run.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eidoo wallet on: January 16, 2020, 04:44:11 AM
I remember, I once downloaded the eidoo wallet and it was cool, but lately, I don't use it. My best wallet is the Imtoken wallet because its an app wallet and I have access to my tokens without necessarily going through any website to import my private data keys.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No knowledge is lost. on: January 16, 2020, 04:39:03 AM
It's a known fact that projects fly ICO's basically to raise funds, ICO's have lost its savor lately and projects waiting for ICO to be successful before commencing project development tends to be disappointed. On the other hand, projects without need for tokensales, tend to do better because they're commencing their projects development without the assistance of investors.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How you can launch your crypto exchange quickly on: January 14, 2020, 10:17:50 AM
It's rather unfortunate that cryptocurrency exchange could be established by using a clone. It shows that some of the exchange we have in the space are operated by clone and are easily converted into scam exchange. I'll enjoin everyone to be very careful when choosing an exchange to trade.
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 5 cryptocurrencies to invest in 2020 on: January 14, 2020, 10:10:54 AM
Even as much as its a good decision to consider the options for investment in cryptocurrency, its also ideal for all to know that investment in cryptocurrency is very risky as the market is volatile and there are no guarantees for returns on investment. Its wise to only invest what you're willing to loose.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sources of income? on: January 14, 2020, 10:05:22 AM
Besides trading, holding, and bounty hunting, what are your other sources of income in cryptocurrency?

Can you tell us about your profitable ways of earning cryptocurrencies nowadays?

There are several other tasks or jobs which one could carry out for projects which could be in terms of website design and development. Graphics creation and designing. One could also serve in the capacity of bounty managers, telegram managers or administrator etc. The field in this space is wide and everyone Could benefit from the abundance of the work.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Iran again want to make some dirty things on: January 14, 2020, 10:01:08 AM
Unfortunately, we are not in a real "war" but we are actually in a cold war situation right now. Iran will keep on threatening USA, and USA will keep on doing some bad stuff as well like killing people or assassinating them etc but in the end I just hope there is no actual war.

As long as we are not talking about bombings and actual weapon involving wars with thousands of people dead, hundreds of thousands innocents dead, that is still avoidable and as long as that doesn't happen I honestly don't care about which high ranked official is dead. You can kill ayatullah himself and as long as there is no war going on, I am fine.

Lol. I'm in support of your opinion, there's actually no war going on presently and the cold War is going to linger for a while and threats would be made, I personally don't see any major war breaking forth from this threats and that explains why I'm at peace with the whole issue.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the best coin to buy apart from bitcoin on: January 14, 2020, 09:56:23 AM
I have a couple of altcoin, I consider to be a good hold apart from my bitcoin portfolio. I have ethereum as my first choice when it comes to altcoin, my other choices includes bnb, litecoin, and some other un popular altcoin which were derived from bounties and airdrop and are yet to be converted into bitcoin or ethereum.

211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: War affects the Entire Cryptocurrency? on: January 12, 2020, 05:41:13 AM
The war between American and Iran may not be the sole reason for the slight upward movement of Bitcoin. Though, it's possible some persons could choose to convert their fiat to Bitcoin to ease the process of changing into other countries fiat. I still believe that there's more to the bitcoin upward value than the war between Iran and United States.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Year of changed altcoin discussion mentality on: January 08, 2020, 02:13:36 AM
You made a good point, we need to develop a better understanding of the purpose of this platform and walk in that light. Our discussion patterns should be evident of the purpose of the forum bearing in mind that several eyes on the platform and decisions could be made considering the discussions made on this platform.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Danger that awaits few coins on: January 08, 2020, 02:08:26 AM
In my opinion, you need to understand that every project cannot have a use case for the entire public. While some are useful for the entire public, just like bitcoin which is a major means of payment, others could be limited to an exchange, just like bnb. The major goal is to be useful. Let's channel it down. Every human being is useful, some persons may be at the helm of affair, piloting World issues, while others national and some more local. Every person cannot be as relevant as president of the United States.

215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quality or Price? - which one you look when buying altcoins? on: January 05, 2020, 03:08:24 PM
If I'm to choose between quality and price of a token to consider making an investment, I'll go with the quality of the project. This is because the price of most tokens are volatile and could drop substantially, but the quality of the project would determine the longevity of the project and in most cases when the project has a very good use case the price would increase with time.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin you love to see die soon and why? on: January 05, 2020, 03:04:48 PM
The token I would love to see die is btcone, I hold a large amount of tokens but was surprised when I got to know that the token has been swapped and all the tokens in my wallet is now useless. I feel very sad as I wasn't aware of the swap and the project could have made the swap period longer to give more persons the opportunity to participate in the swap arrangements.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: January 05, 2020, 03:00:38 PM
There's no doubt that greed is one of the most popular vices which has lead many to be victims of scam projects. There are several ways to which these scam activities are made attractive to people. One of such way is through hyips and ponzi schemes which promises investors huge returns with short period of time with the deception of using the invested funds for forex trading and other non existing activities. We ought to be very careful especially when the returns promised by a scheme seems to good to be true.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Bleeding on: January 04, 2020, 03:25:51 PM
Indeed, the altcoin market is bleeding. I suppose its as a result of the distrust of investors in the market and new projects most especially. I'm of the opinion that the bleeding would be over in no distant time as this year seems promising for the cryptocurrency space, based on the information I have. We still need to remain positive as the cryptocurrency industry has so much to offer.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just a quick warning on: January 04, 2020, 02:01:32 PM
No matter how promising a project might look, especially if they are new projects just look them as if they have nothing to offer and invest only what you can afford to lose. Do not keep your eggs in one basket, do you fall in love with a single coin, no matter how good they are always keep digging, many more good gems won't hurt than relying on a single gem 💍. Be smart
You gave a plausible warning. In fact, I've always heard that it's unwise to keep all your eggs on a basket. It's a sound investment principle to diversify and don't depend on only one single source of income. Its also a good idea to only invest what you're willing to loose., the cryptocurrency space is highly volatile and there's no promise or assurance on any project or coin.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this really a good plan? on: January 04, 2020, 01:57:04 PM
Few of my colleagues told me they quit bounty because many new projects are finding it very difficult to reach soft cap and those who manages to reach softcap ends up listing on ridiculous exchanges because of listing fee, a part of me feels like they are right because if a new project fails to aim for top exchange its game over,  the question now is why promoting new projects then?

It may not be far from the truth to say that bounty programmes are not very lucrative. This is because most of projects are actually not performing too well in terms of tokensales and returns on investment. I understand some projects are doing well, but it's barely 25% of the projects that we can say are performing above average.
