221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to protect your crypto against a natural disaster? on: January 03, 2020, 08:37:12 PM
It's actually funny, reading the post on protective measure for cryptocurrency against natural disaster. I personally won't go through the tedious step of protecting my cryptocurrency wallet when there's a natural disaster. I believe the persons that would be eager to protect their cryptocurrency would be those with substantial value of tokens
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of browsers add-ons on: January 03, 2020, 01:21:07 PM
I've personally had a bad experience with browsers add-ons, I remember vividly, the attack on my ethereum on Google chrome browser which made me loose a substantial amount of ethereum as a result of the compromise on my browser ethereum wallet. It feels really painful each time I remember the experience.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: January 03, 2020, 01:16:53 PM
The rate at which people get scammed in the cryptocurrency space is alarming. I'm in support of the opinion that it's basically as a result of greed. The Cryptocurrency space is one of the industry which people join to make quick money and I guess that's why they're willing to invest in anything that promises a Fortune.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any change this year? on: January 03, 2020, 12:53:23 PM
I entered the new year with a positive outlook for cryptocurrency and an intensive desire to take advantage of the price swings which I believe we would come to see any moment from now. The Cryptocurrency industry is getting better and the users or Enthusiasts are supposed to be better off.

226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BCNEX - "SCAM" Withdrawals are no longer available. on: December 31, 2019, 05:49:45 AM
I still have funds in bcnex and on logging yesterday, I noticed that withdrawals are not available for all the cryptocurrency on the exchange, I'm certain that the exchange has an issue and need to suspend withdraw to fix the challenge. I'm certain that this would be corrected ones the issue has been resolved.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still fall victim to obvious scam? on: December 30, 2019, 07:14:41 AM
Why do people still fall victims to obvious scams? Especially on twitter people are still sending bitcoin to traders, no one is a perfect trader, do not send bitcoin or other coins to people to trade for you, its stupid and foolish idea

Today a bitcoin trader on twitter exit scam and delete all traces off social media, i heard its about 53bitcoin, here is the link to the news

https://coinnewstelegraph.com/bitmex-bitcoin-fund-manager-exit-scams-before-christmas/

Pls stop, there is no such thing as easy money, its either you learn or you quit or else you will keep losing money

When I see people making stupid mistakes, I wonder whether the Scammer utilizes hypnosis to subdue their victims. The rate at which people are easily deceived is alarming. I'm still surprised on how people still agree to twitter obvious scam when they're aware that posts could be deleted and traces cleaned.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra coin alive or dead? on: December 30, 2019, 07:10:28 AM
There was a rapid growth in bitcoin price in last 2-3 months when it was announced Facebook is going to launch its own coin, called libra coin,
Now its already in cold store, due to US and EU agencies interference.

I saw in coin market cap, its only general information about libra coin, but no technical data is available yet.

I remember the hype that came with the news on libracoin, I even learnt that there's still plans to launch the project by next year being 2020, though am sceptical about the project due to the issue with United States government and other regulatory authorities. I do hope that the project is set rolling as soon as possible.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vitalik Buterin makes a new statement. What do you think about this? on: December 29, 2019, 04:28:21 AM
Vitalik Buterin proposed an accelerated transfer of the Ethereum blockchain based on the Proof of Work consensus to the “beacon chain” that underlies blockchain architecture using sharding. The update proposed by Vitalik will require only light clients without state preservation (stateless clients), but he will not need miners. This will require significantly fewer changes at the architecture level.

I'm of the opinion that this development is a good one and would make the ethereum blockchain more attractive for users. The fact that miners won't be needed could serve as a pragmatic solution towards the end of high transaction costs and help to make the speed of transactions faster.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to avoid fraudulent projects? on: December 29, 2019, 04:14:27 AM
It's a known fact that bounty hunters are only interested in promoting projects for a reward. Any project that is willing to give a good reward would be promoted, so investors should not be considering the fact that the project has a very good review as a condition for validity.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Read whitepaper, could you write a whitepaper in the future? on: December 28, 2019, 05:08:55 AM
I have a theory, if I can read cryptocurrency white papers, maybe in the long run I will be able to write a white paper, because by reading how they are initially written, their structure, technical explanations up to a point of view, and all the elements that a white paper has, I should be able to have notions to write one, what do you think?

There's no professional or technical expertise needed to write a whitepaper. In fact there's no standard for a well written whitepaper
it's simply a note to communicate the teams intension with the public. Though, it's a great idea that you've started studying how whitepaper are being written. I believe it would be very helpful to you when you want to write a whitepaper for any project.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this really a good plan? on: December 28, 2019, 05:01:41 AM
Few of my colleagues told me they quit bounty because many new projects are finding it very difficult to reach soft cap and those who manages to reach softcap ends up listing on ridiculous exchanges because of listing fee, a part of me feels like they are right because if a new project fails to aim for top exchange its game over,  the question now is why promoting new projects then?

It's indeed a truth that bounty hunting is not always lucrative and there is possibility of working in vain. But you need to think of the possibility of earning more in some great projects. I agree that a huge percentage of projects may fail and others may list in ridiculous exchange, but a few would bring smiles to your face.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Please Help! on: December 27, 2019, 04:37:30 AM
Hello everyone, I really need help of experts here.

Please answer it only if you are 100% sure.

I today sent Bitcoin Cash to a Bitcoin Address by mistake. I have sent it through Coinbase and the person receiving too has Coinbase account. It shows transaction is completed and amount is sent. So now please help me as what can I do? Is there any way to restore or Claim it?

You actually made a huge mistake and need to be careful about your transfer subsequently. If it was an exchange, the amount could have be forfeited, because I know some exchange are very strict on retrieving funds sent in error. You only need to open a support ticket and hopefully. You'll get the issue rectified. Best of luck.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Day Trading or Long-term Hodl? on: December 27, 2019, 04:33:20 AM
Day trading is a more lucrative way for earning in the market, but it comes with an extent of risk. One needs to be skilled in trading to be able to make more income from the exercise. On the other hand long term hodl happens to be a more lazy approach, when one gets a token and hopes that the value increases before selling. Its not a certainty that the value would increase in the long term.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Useless projects! on: December 26, 2019, 05:19:28 AM
Hello, I would like to know which projects have really achieved their goals after an ICO/IEO/ITO. Is there a page or statistics about it?

It would be very difficult to get a full grasp of the successful projects after tokensales, but I'm certain there should be some projects who are still Striving to retain their presence in the cryptocurrency space. Several projects must have lost in the race as a result of the sets back experienced. The market hasn't been at it best and the cost of remaining relevant is quite high.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Much Worth of Projects IEO's listing in Exchanges? on: December 25, 2019, 03:28:04 AM
I know that the cost of listing in many exchange is expensive. It's only few exchange that allows free listing or lesser amount. The situation is critical for global exchanges whose listing fees are much more expensive than others.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook Loses Data for 267 Million Users, Calls Libra Security Into Question on: December 24, 2019, 04:51:48 AM
The issue of Facebook data breach is getting more recurrent in the news. We heard about the issue not too long ago and I remember it was one of the reasons that informed the European Union regulations. I do hope that Facebook can put their house in order and stop the data breach issues for repeating itself.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some big things to watch for in 2020 on: December 24, 2019, 04:42:22 AM
I'm much more interested in the issue of ethereum 2.0 which would bring greater scalability to the ethereum protocol. I heard this new development could bring a remarkable impact to the value of ethereum which has depreciated substantially.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hot Altcoins on: December 23, 2019, 05:34:51 AM
As it stands today, altcoin are loosing their relevance in the cryptocurrency space daily. This could be clearly depicted in the coin market cap where we have bitcoin dominance of over 70%. The new altcoin are the worst hit as several ICO's and IEO's list on exchanges far lesser than their ICO price making the investors regret their decision. From my point of view, there's no hot altcoin presently, it's best to hold bitcoin and few popular altcoin like ethereum.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to hidden or Delete all coin in myether wallet? on: December 23, 2019, 05:30:10 AM

I used to do Air drop and bounty. Get all coins in time when the market is down. The value of all these coins lost 90% even now looking at it I do not believe it is no longer valid.
I cannot sell them because no one buys them, and its value can only be enough to transfer to exchange.
So do you have a way to hide it or delete all the coins from your wallet?

Wow, it's so unfortunate. Most airdroppers and bounty hunters are in same predicament. The issue is that you can't actually delete your tokens from the wallet. At best you can hide it on Imtoken wallet by removing the tokens highlighted on the wallet. You may need the ticker or contract address to be able to successfully carry out this on the tokens.
