182  Other / Meta / Re: BFL bringing down the trust rating? on: April 08, 2014, 07:47:23 PM
Whitelisting now reduces the time limits on posting/pm's (ie you must wait 360 seconds...), and prevents the user from being nuked (only newbies can be nuked).

This is good but I believe Josh is right about the Trust system... any thoughts on how we can better IT?
183  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitcointalk CEO, Please Flag/Tag Josh/Inaba/BFL as Scammers XXXXXXX on: April 08, 2014, 07:44:18 PM
Maybe you can just Make a new tag for people that abuse the trust system Huh Smiley

People who abuse the Trust system may receive negative feedback, no need for any tags to be given by the forum (for the same reasons why scammer tags are no longer given out).

there should be a better way tho ?? Trust ratting are like gold in IRC/ebay ... we need to do something??? even tho I don't like what BFL/josh stand for ... I do agree with him on this ... Trust system is NOT the greatest here ...

The only time when soniq is quick to reply is when he is collecting BTC Sad  ha... Quicker than speedy Gonzalez Smiley
187  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [GB]Terraminer IV #5, Coinsortium on: April 06, 2014, 03:34:08 AM
Soniq now has negative trust showing on his profile.  Now nobody will bid on those items, or even worse, we will get a very bad price for them

Soniq
Trust: -4: -1 / +0(0)
Warning: Trade with extreme caution!

Soniq, is just playing with every one :/ I just hope I get my BTC back Sad this group buy has been a disappointment to all of us:/
Thanks soniq
188  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [GB]Terraminer IV #5, Coinsortium on: April 05, 2014, 08:09:23 PM
Vote was a majority to sell miners , 16 - 5

I have listed them here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=558577.0

Cheers

Hi

You might not agree with some of my management practices, but proof has shown that I received over 1500 BTC in payments for miners and have ordered all above said equipment.

I have also paid out over 1400 BTC in payments to my other GB.

You feedback in my trust rating is not only going to hurt the return you receive in auction  for your miner, but it is also defamatory.

Please govern yourself accordingly.

Cheers
Larry

Sorry Larry or soniq or who ever you are but my trust feedback STANDs ... I dont believe people voted 16 to 5 for selling the miners .... let do a do over but it will be an OPEN VOTE !!! Here and ONLY share holders .... Sad
189  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [GB]Terraminer IV #5, Coinsortium on: April 05, 2014, 04:04:46 AM
I think we should try and continue to mine
Selling them will be less than $5000 for each
I think it may be possible to host them at cointerra
http://cointerra.com/cointerra-announces-hosting-partnership-terramine-hosting/
This may mean that is they break down cointerra will fix the sooner because of location
and may get better support
PS: I have paid 13.09 BTC on miner #3 ---- about 1/3 of that miner hashing power
I believe I you sell the miners you get about 10 BTC each i.e. I would get about 3 BTC for my 13.09 btc investment --- I estimate if we continue mining it possible to miner about 20 bitcoin per miner. IE I will earn about 7 BTC which is much better than selling them today .

So my votes is NO also I hope the voting is based on number of share held in this GB

My 2 cents

really doesn't matter how we all vote in an email to him privately...he can just change it how he wants it...we all should vote here in public Cheesy and my vote is NO based on hardpick math...and we're already screwed...so no need in screwing us more...and the votes better be counted with share count otherwise that would be unfair...not like this whole GB has been fair lol
Don't sell

True +1 but we need to start seeing some payouts sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooon
190  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [GB]Terraminer IV #5, Coinsortium on: April 04, 2014, 05:13:34 PM
Update

-Terraminer #3 is at Cointerra repair center, no estimated ETA
- no luck renegotiating a truth with colo owner, he wants the miners out. The sad part is the amount of money involved is not worth the legal costs to pursue any further and he knows that
He has promised a refund, but not sure yet how much will be refunded? 100% or prorated

So I propose that we auction the Terraminers off?

Or try and find another colo? I have talked to one other colo and they have room, but would be $2000 + a month for 5 Terraminers.

Thoughts?

Some of the miners have generated enough income to pay costs so will be sending a payment soon as I get this situation resolved.

Cheers

P.S. I have sent out an email to all members asking for a yes or no to selling the Terraminers in auction

I just received an email from Larry but but the email he gave me is not working Huh any how, Soniq, you know how out spoken ive been about your GBs and 90% of the people don't even know what your up to with the miners Sad I am part of GB #5 and the miner looks like its working fine. I just want to get back the money Ive put in with no more waiting on you to do something. NO ONE knows what ur up to with our miners and if your truly lagit Huh

191  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [CLOSED] CoiningSolutions.com Cointerra Shares ฿2 = 25GH/s [CLOSED] on: April 04, 2014, 04:44:43 PM
Bad news! Sad

It looks like TerraMiner #3 is dead.

I haven't checked the stats in about a day or so and when I did I noticed Miner #3 not mining.

Tried to log in via ssh nada, tried to log in via http nada.

Ok- manually rebooted.

No lights but PSU fires.

Swapped power cables and tried again.

Same thing- fans turn on but no LEDS or access via browser.

Swapped cables with a working miner (and swapped outlets that I was plugging into just to verify) - still nothing.

Emailing Cointerra for a support now hopefully they can give us some tips to get it working so we do not have to RMA this =\.

I will keep you guys posted once I receive a reply from CT.

Thanks for the update WH, hopefully they pay for the RMA but if not we will have to divided the cost.
THanks again Smiley

I wish they didn't have a sticker closing the case/lid - I want to take a look inside but that would void the warranty.

I'm hoping/assuming they will send us a prepaid shipping label from UPS, I will be demanding one anyway. This is a TON of downtime if we have to RMA it and i'm more than certain there would be no way WE would have to pay for it.

I shot the email(s) to Cointerra, just awaiting a reply for now. Will keep you guys updated.

any updates on miner #3 Smiley

Latest LIE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shipping Schedule
This is a Pre-Order product which is not yet shipping.  If you're uncomfortable waiting until the development is complete and the product is shipped, do NOT pre-order this product. Perhaps undesirable, but this is a pre-order market.  Customers flatly demand to get in line for the new technology before it's finished development.  This has created a lot of drama for the manufacturers but it's something we simply have to deal with.  All manufacturers in this space have experienced some degree of delay with their first generation ASIC.  Every last one of them, so we're reluctant to give a specific delivery date.  However, this is our second generation, so we have much greater clarity on the process and plan to begin shipments in March 2014.  Orders are shipped in order date priority so any order placed now should be expected to be delivered in June.

WOW talk about Lying to your FACE, NO Shame!

In other news, just got off the phone with a nice District Attorney who is preparing a case against Butterfly Labs, who wanted to discuss and get more details on the complaints I submitted last year.

What do you know... The justice system works, even if the wheels do turn slower than we'd like sometimes.

*whistles innocently*

Nice you should make a thread and keep us post it on how its going Smiley Huh

What are "Default trust users" I'm not aware of this?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=211858.0

I think by that he meant not necessarily people who have DefaultTrust on their Trust list, but people who are part of DefaultTrust (currently it's sirius, theymos, HostFat, Maged, OgNasty, CanaryInTheMine, John (John K.), Tomatocage, SaltySpitoon, BadBear, escrow.ms).

Maybe you can just Make a new tag for people that abuse the trust system Huh Smiley

I'd prefer if you have done biz with me before that you leave me feedback. Thanks. I'd prefer not to skew the trust rating I have positive or negative because of BFL's negligent behavior.

Got it Smiley
