1162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is new Baikal cube miner a scam? on: April 11, 2017, 04:17:19 AM
I am working closely with baikal as you know, i know they have slow response, I have also placed an order and am waiting for a response

1163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BAIKAL GROUPBUY 4 - RESERVATION on: April 11, 2017, 02:51:19 AM
Are you sure Baikal aren't running a scam with these new cube miners?

Their website is so terrible they should be ashamed of it.

I arranged payment for one of them in dash yesterday via email from someone called Charles Zhou. I paid 13.86 dash and sent them two different screenshots showing the transaction with many confirmations and I haven't heard from them since. Like no emails about my order for nearly 24 hours now.

Is it credible that they could build a miner that looks like it's the same size as a mini but it has double the hashrate?

I think we might be getting ripped off because the demand was so obvious and everyone was greedy for anything doing X11.

I would encourage anyone who is considering buying from Baikal to be very cautious. I won't be happy until they at least tell me the status of my order.

If I get the cube I paid for, or at least a refund if I didn't pay in time - I am definitely interested in joining a group buy for 2-3 more units, but I'm finding it difficult to trust Baikal right now.

I hear you, they are becoming harder and harder to get hold of, but I am making progress.

we will know within the following days because miner is promised to be shipped within 3 days remember.

I am eager to receive my cube as well, they have such a great product so it would be such a shame to do that to the community.
1164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer L3 - 250mh - 400watt Scrypt miner coming soon on: April 11, 2017, 02:06:54 AM
FYI Bitmain will officially announce L3 on worldwide site this week. Make sense why east shore pulled their latest batch. They are taking advantage of this price hike and selling the overpriced miners themselves.

assholes

^^^^ i have to admit i like the sound of this guys review over the thought of some random chick who prob has no idea what shes doing but has been asked to participate Cheesy

Sorry Bittawm, this guy or phil's got my vote (not that it matters Tongue)

Still curious who won one, maybe they oversold and don't have any extra for the giveaway now heehee

hahah fair call, but she is very crypto literate and it would be a video for the ages that would go down in history. a babe reviewing a babe of a product
1168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: eastshore.xyz experience? on: April 10, 2017, 10:25:32 PM
i have dealt with them historically with no problems

just a premium on gear
1169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BAIKAL GROUPBUY 4 - RESERVATION on: April 10, 2017, 10:19:59 PM
Are there any improvements with this new design beyond the obvious speed increase?

I've seen past posts that indicate people have issues with the software/controllers.

Do they work with Nicehash?

I am yet to receive my cube but will confirm when I get it.

right now the speed increase is the main attraction

GROUPBUY 4 - RESERVATION
1171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / BAIKAL GROUPBUY 5 - RESERVATION on: April 10, 2017, 10:07:54 PM
UPDATE: BAIKAL HAVE SAID NEXT BATCH WILL NOT HAVE LIMITATION ON QUANTITY

Hey all,

as you know Baikal has imposed a limit of 1 cube per person for this first batch.

I should imagine they will be bringing out newer models soon of their giants (and you can always stack cubes to make quad cubes)

as you know we have had extreme success with the last 3 group buys. Well done to all of you who participated, I hope you ROI ASAP.

the main aim of these groupbuys is to get cheaper gear for the community, it was such a shame when products were unavailable.

this first batch of cubes there will not be a group buy, however I am in negotiation with baikal and we have a good chance of a group buy discount when the next batch is released.

right now this thread is to show baikal how serious we are, please post if you are interested

What are you talking about? I'm referring to bittawm

sigh.

bittawm aint shit...and I doubt he's going to be able to negotiate even a penny off your cost.

No need to be a dick about it, man.

Um...he was a dick when he charged my associate 5k ea for 3 giants. Literally at the same time as hosting a group buy for discount giants...

I understand a slight markup, but that's just taking advantage of people. Screw him.

Informing the public is being a dick eh?

you are an asshole sir,

if you must know

I sold 3 giants and one mini (2850mhs) for 15k NZD (which is 10500usd) on www.trademe.co.nz (our local marketplace)

the buyer was begging me to buy these products and I reluctantly sold, these machines were making 40-50usd per day (per giant) on the day I sold them (on MUE)

considering the earnings and the lack of supply I would say I gave him an extremely good deal (possibly the best deal at the time)

I arranged these group buys for people to get cheap gear......... dont hate.......

In bittawm favor with reference to my personal conversation with him, He was very fair in his dealings. And for 5000 USD price, research these forums carefully lots of Giant/Quads were being sold by different persons on same price at the height of uncertainty of further availability. Its called Demand VS Supply.AGAIN BITTAWN IS TRUST-ABLE PERSON.

You speak as if you are bittawn's alt.

He hosted a group buy and at the same time sold units to at least one individual at an increased price at over twice the price in the group buy...

That's not trust-able unless you're a fool.

Forgive me for giving a shit about people like you(fools) but it's my nature to protect the pathetic and weak if I can.

I can confirm that I have no alts,

I can also confirm that I have acted in the best interests of the community.

I helped crash the price of these miners so all of you could ROI

I made 1/5th of fuck all.

I did not sell for double the price, I sold a mere 3 giants once the price went to 100usd per dash and the machines were making a fortune...and I sold them locally in my own country after I had received payment.

please do not question my trust as I am not here to shaft anyone and am happy for people to pay direct and I am also happy to use escrow
1174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone want to do a Baikal Groupbuy? on: April 09, 2017, 06:39:44 AM
So is anyone organizing a group buy?  If so I'm down for 2 cubes.
Also can someone that has bought from this company before explain the process.  Such as how long does the shipping take?  Do we have to pay a customs fee on top of the miner cost?
Any info would be appreciated.
Thank you

I will be organizing another one, I am in communication with baikal
