Looks like https://asicminermarket.com/product/baikal-quadruple-600mhs-power/  is selling ONLY LARGE Quantities of Baikal Quadruple 600MH/S + PSUs.  $42,000.00 for 30 Units.  This would actually be a pretty good price at $1400.00 per Quadruple!  I would buy 2 if someone was up to buying the batch of 30.  Any Takers?

stay the fuck away from that scammer
1202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BAIKAL - WHAT IS GOING ON? on: March 20, 2017, 11:26:59 PM
seems plenty of people are suspicious of the behavior of baikal lately and we just want some answers.
What's to be suspicious about?  Even if they are mining (and in their position I would do the same in a NY minute) they are doing so with the gear they designed and built.  They don't owe us anything.  If they decide to sell machines in two weeks and DASH is still on a tear, don't expect to be paying 500 bucks a unit the second time around either.

This is a privately held company turning a profit--I'm not sure what people are yelling about.

yeah I would be mining if I were them hands down,

price...not the problem... people are willing to pay more

if baikal are mining... not the problem...we get it, they have money printers

that is not the issue

the issue is everyone here in the community is like hmmm wtf is happening right now... you should see my inbox

we just want a bit of transparency and honesty, if they are mining just tell us
1203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BAIKAL - WHAT IS GOING ON? on: March 20, 2017, 08:59:58 PM
Best thing about Baikal miners is they are ROCK SOLID. No issues since I got involved last fall. Great, fast, stable, cool, quiet. Everything you want from a miner.

they are amazing miners no doubt, thats why I sold them
1204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BAIKAL - WHAT IS GOING ON? on: March 20, 2017, 08:58:31 PM
-teamgreen: I get it... I get it.....we would just like some clarification.... know what the new price will be and give a timeframe to work with (several weeks doesn't really cut the mustard)

-MakeMyDay619: cheers mate, rest assured I will ALWAYS be actively selling mining gear and keeping up with all of the community antics Tongue
1205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BAIKAL - WHAT IS GOING ON? on: March 20, 2017, 07:50:37 PM
Patience, nobody wants to hear that, but you don't pop out miners like toasters unless you somehow anticipated this massive run up in the price of the coins that are mined.  I am sure Baikal is caught just as flat footed on this as everyone else.

I am sure they are scrambling trying to get more miners built and in a large enough volume to meet the demand.  And at the same time they have to worry that if they place a massive order to only have the price of the coins to collapse and then they are left holding the bag for miners they cannot sell.  This is a tough spot to be in if you think about it.

I agree. The conspiracy theories are getting ridiculous. They JUST had some in stock about 2 weeks ago, I ordered at the end of February and received in March., They ran out, they are producing more. Baikal has done nothing so far to lower confidence in them. They are obviously overwhelmed.

Have patience. The FOMO you guys have is ridiculous.

Guys listen, I am a reasonable guy, even though the gear sells itself I actively helped promote to sell over 1000 miners. they could at least let me know what they are doing?

I understand they are having trouble keeping up with the demand of these money printers, but just a little transparency would be amazing

BAIKAL - WHAT IS GOING ON? - THREAD HERE : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1835352.0
1207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / BAIKAL - WHAT IS GOING ON? on: March 20, 2017, 06:59:18 PM
 Hey all,

I am getting waves and waves of messages from people regarding baikal miners

let me be clear - baikals are sold out world wide.

I am creating this thread for the community to get together and speculate what is actually happening right now.

Baikal is not telling me any information except "several weeks"

I try to ask questions such as:

1. will there be more batches?

2. When will the next batch be available?

3. what stage of production is the current batch in?

4. Is there new products in development?

5. is baikal mining themselves (they say no)

the only 2 answers I am getting are:

"several weeks" and "we are not mining"

seems plenty of people are suspicious of the behavior of baikal lately and we just want some answers.

I really helped promoto and to support baikal but it seems like they want nothing to do with the community here

please speculate and let me know any intel that you have

we need more x11 mining manufacturers to start up......when you have a cash cow you just dont stop producing it with no explanation to the customers. even if they came to us and said listen the goods are still 1 month away but they ARE ON THE WAY. that would be better than NO INFORMATION and "SEVERAL WEEKS".....after several weeks then what?Huh? will they start producing or will the product be ready?
1208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone want to do a Baikal Groupbuy? on: March 20, 2017, 06:51:10 PM
I am in to buying a couple of the Baikals on the next buy!

atm "several weeks away" I do not know what Is going on with baikal they have kept me in the dark
1209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: March 20, 2017, 01:07:25 AM
how about hard drive burst mining, that is certainly a feature i would love
1210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone want to do a Baikal Groupbuy? on: March 20, 2017, 12:50:40 AM
from now it will be always 'several weeks' basically what does that mean - 'we are currently mining with every baikal we have, then we dump the price and sell you the HW'

I am not sure what they are doing but I am not in the loop. :S
1211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Cases that fit 4 GPUs without risers on: March 19, 2017, 08:17:00 PM
you're the man too

I don't wanna be the man; I just want fact rather than fallacy.

edit: okay I wanna be the man too Wink

now try and find me a 8 slot small form factor case

i wish you luck good sir

Good luck?  Are you being facetious now?  You are the one with the requirement.
Here you go.  micro-ATX case with 8 slots.

That's an entirely different request than your original but it's pretty simple to tick a few boxes on the Newegg site to add some filters.
So you're looking for a mini-ITX case that will fit 4 double-slot GPUs thereby violating both sensibility and the Pauli exclusion principle?

Here's the link with the boxes ticked sorted from lowest price to highest.  Have a look.

thank you for all of your hard work,

I apologise

I will continue with my projects now
1212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone want to do a Baikal Groupbuy? on: March 19, 2017, 06:57:47 PM
Do you guys reckon its worth buying a A900 for $3400 USD right now?

Or whats the most youd pay for one with current DASH prices?

I've no clue.....its all weird as all get out....dash pumping ...btc dumping....just sitting on hoard ..scratching head Sad

However ...we could probably close down this thread I can pretty much state there will be no more baikal group buys...by the time

we got something like that organized they would be out of units!!!!

I mean if panda's put 2 weeks out there to sell their gpu rigs and sell out in 4 or 5 hrs...how fast will these sell out ..6 min?

I"m just trying to make my self realize ..that most of these are not likely to trickle out of china and I fear those in 2nd and 3rd batch etc

are SHOL....sigh

but group buy...ha....they don't take lists or pre-orders ...and again on skype was told 'several weeks' Sad

give me time... i will get these out of china

There are a few, but they're not real common.

Best "low-cost" one I've worked with are the Termaltake H34/H35 series.

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811133271&cm_re=8_expansion_slots_case-_-11-133-271-_-Product

 for an example

*MOST* full-tower ATX cases only have 7 card slots some even have only 6.
You need *8* or more to fit 4 "mining" class GPUs into a case.

One nice thing about that case - all of the drive bays are removeable, and can be refitted into several different positions, so it's fairly easy to get a pair of Delta (or any other high-flow 120mm x 38mm) fans mounted into the front of the case for good through airflow without having to cut ANYTHING.

mate you are the man, thank you.

i wish they sold these locally.

if you could find any more that would be amazing

top stuff mate thanks again
1216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Are you the best PandaMiner reviewer we are looking for? on: March 19, 2017, 06:53:58 AM
if I dont win the review there is something seriously wrong haha Tongue
1217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Cases that fit 4 GPUs without risers on: March 19, 2017, 06:09:02 AM
I would think most if not all ATX full tower cases have room for 4 GPUs side-by-side.
Corsair 900D for one.

they dont, i havnt found one that does yet :S
