And how do i do that, saw some other guy having trouble with it in the mac too, but he didnt add what command he used either. I only know the way using minepeon. Maybe the file on your system is somewhere else: sudo su

They do work on a raspberry PI:  At least they work running cgminer 3.8.4 compiled with the correct drivers. What OS for the rasp did you use (Raspbian, Pidora, RaspBMC or other)?? Did you update the firmware on the bi*fury's? What USB hub do you use, and how much power does the ac adapter provide? Minepeon, current version afaik (version which was current in mid december). No, I did not change the firmware. It was as shipped in early december. The screenshot was taken while running all those devices on a 49 Port USB HUB with a "cheap" ATX PSU (25A). Unfortunately I have no more BI*Fury's anymore so I can not do further tests, sorry. |

UPS do suck in the EU, i have heard they do okay/good else where though? Just not the EU.
DHL are much better for EU but lack in the US so i read.
This might be correct as long as there it is a shipment within europe, so customs is not involved. In Germany DHL delivers everything to official customs clearing while other shipping companies seem to have their own customs offices. While almost every DHL order is being returned by customs I never had that problem with UPS/FedEx. |

Ich hatte gelesen, dass man mit Übertaktung bei etwas 360W liegen soll. Was wäre denn ratsam? 450W? Ansonsten brauche ich hierfür kein Kabelmanagement, extra leise Lüfter und 300W Puffer. Es soll effizient und günstig sein. Bin offen für Empfehlungen, danke  |

Das hier sollte passen. 1xPCIe hat es bereits, für den anderen kommt mein Molex->PCIe Adapter zum Tragen. Gesamtkosten: 20 Euro!

Nur um sicherzugehen: 2x PCI-E Extender würden im Prinzip reichen, oder? Ich kappe dort dann jeweils die Enden und hätte dann theoretisch 8x Gelb und 8xSchwarze Kabel (jew. 4 von jeder der Verlängerungen). Hiervon werden aber nur 6 (3x schwarz, 3x gelb) benötigt, korrekt? |

Ok, scheinbar brauche ich in jedem Fall noch einen "PCI-E Extender" und einen "PCI 4 Pin Extender", wenn ich nicht gerade mein Netzteil auseinandersägen möchte.

Hallo,
ich habe mir testweise auch mal einen Bitmain S1 bestellt, welcher noch nicht geliefert ist.
Um möglichst kurz nach Lieferung loslegen zu können wollte ich Besitzer eines solchen mal Fragen, wie das mit der Stromversorgung läuft.
Hat hier jemand eine Anleitung oder mag mir sagen was zu tun ist um das Gerät mit ausreichens Leistung zu versorgen?

Requirements for a Refund
Must have a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) before returning the item.
Every item will be sold as no refund, however, in a situation where Bitmain deemed appropriate, Bitmain will issue the RMA.
Bitmain will refund your method of payment or replace your item after Bitmain receives the original item.
If there’s an error on Bitmain's part related to your order, Bitmain will issue a refund or credit for your order and any applicable shipping charges.
No refund will be issued in a case where the merchandise was delayed, held, seized or confiscated by the customs.
It is the customer's responsibility to have the proper import license, Registered VAT# and pays duty tax where applicable and any other documentations required to complete the commercial import into your country, if you are importing merchandise for resell/redistribution.
Many countries now days offer per-clearance program to the Chinese Exporters before the merchandise leaves China, it is the customer's responsibility to meet necessary requirements to import the merchandise into customer's country. Items rejected by the respective country's customs due to the customer not having the proper VAT Registration or tax/duty deferment/exemption, legal business registration or exceeded the customer's personal exemptions are not eligible for refund.
If the items were held in China during the per-clearance process, Bitmain may issue the partial refund minus the shipping fee, customs brokerage fee and depreciated value since the time of the purchase but after the items were returned to Bitmain in original resell-able condition. Bitmain reserves the right to refuse refund in any customs related incidents.
If the bitcoin miner products were to be returned to China, Bitmain will offer an option to have your returned or rejected bitcoin miners hosted in the data center for a fee.
It is the customer's responsibility to pay any fees associated with the return shipping to Bitmain and Import Tax as well as the customs brokerage fees.
I had a lot of problems recently with imports to EU (no Bitmain products). I know that at least the U1 have a CE mark, which is good, but it is also necessary to provide a written manual in the language of the shipping country. This is one reason why customs can return the shipment and only the sender can avoid this. Just wanted to make sure that things are sent that way since I do not know ...and of course a correct invoice must be provided (also do not know if this is the case) |

Is there an invoice attached to the package so that there is VAT to be paid? (which is ok, just want to know)
Final (maybe stupid) question: Where is the benefit of buying from sushi than buying from bitmain directly? (both have webshops and I expect them to have the same prices soon)

Hat alles geklappt bei mir. CE-Zeichen war drauf und eine Konformitätserklärung war dabei. Als externe Recheneinheit deklariert, Einfuhrumsatzsteuer in Höhe von 19 % bezahlt und fertig wars. Rechnung hatte ich mitgebracht.
War bei Dir der Herstellername auf dem Netzteil? Hatte die Konformitätserklärung ein Datum? Das waren bei mir die letzten Rückweisungsgründe... |

Die letzte Sendung ging nun im Wesentlichen zurück, weil auf dem Netzteil nicht der Name des Herstellers aufgedruckt war bzw. die Konformitätserklärung kein Datum enthielt. CE Zeichen war drauf...
