I see one specific problem (throughout the whole Cryptocoin Community)
Many people are just hoarding their Coins and are spending nothing to improve or contribute and just waiting for the Devs or "knights" to do the work.
How can we improve that?
Maybe some time later we need to implement a system in the Cryptocoin Space that encourages people to contribute ideas and their fair share (maybe though higher X% PoS Rewards.....
I know here are a lot of people just hoarding (and staking) a LOT amount of coins and do nothing to improve "their" Coin.
... Another idea from the Th82's message - higher stake percent for contributors (maybe unlocked by coupon-like codes entered into the wallet GUI), seems to be more interesting. Interesting idea! I like it to reward those who contribute most through a higher stake percent. Also I vote for reducing the Block reward from currently 5000 CV2 to 2500 CV2 per block. CV2 Contributors should be rewarded higher - we should implement such a System and bounty programs. Some time ago, we had Improvement / Marketing and Development Teams on Colossuscoin.org - We could reActivate the Teams Interesting ideas! last time i checked a couple of day ago i had something like 104.1 fly but yesturday computer crash and after restart wallet was crashing i try -reindex but failed so i remove wallet folder and keep wallet.dat but it was still crashing  so i used my saved wallet from last month but i lost some minted fly last transaction is 28-11 i only have 102 now but wallet stuck on updating blockchain so i came here and downloaded last version now it s updated but i still have 102 fly am i not supposed to have same amount after older wallet restore ? On windows navigate to C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Flycoin (default location) Delete everything in that folder EXCEPT WALLET.DAT Wallet.dat is your entire wallet contents, without it you will not have access to your coins, make sure you don't delete it. Reopen the FLYcoin wallet. This will start the blockchain sync. It make take some time. After the wallet is resynced it is possible you will have some incorrect entries in your transactions tab and possibly an incorrect balance, follow the instructions below to clear out and repair the remaining transactions. If that does not solve the problem and your coins and transactions do not appear we can try a repair on your wallet.dat. Open your debug window by clicking "Help" and opening "Debug Window" Click the "console" tab. In the command line type and enter: checkwalletafter returning the result, in the command line type and enter: repairwalletThis will go through your wallet and do some checks, repair any broken transactions and verify you're on the right blockchain. If you are still showing bad stakes simply right click the transactions list and choose "clear orphans" You probably will need to close FLY wallet and do a -rescan (add -rescan to shortcut of FLYcoin in windows) Hope this helps! best wishes sudo23 |

Please also encrypt your wallet while staking:
1. Backup wallet.dat just in case something goes wrong. - to a thumb drive
2. Encrypt wallet under the menu and type a strong password in both fields.
3. The wallet will close after it encrypts the file, reopen it.
4. Go to unlock wallet, type in passphrase, and ensure the "for staking only" checkbox is selected.
Done.
You will have to unlock the wallet for staking every time you close and re open it from this point forward.
If you don't, you won't stake any coins, but your coin age will still be saved up - so don't worry losing any interest if you forget.

By default ColossusCoin2 will put its data here: ~/Library/Application Support/ColossusCoin2/ In order to see hidden folders, such as ~/Library from Finder, simply hit shift + ⌘ (command) + G which will GO to a folder, then paste in this location: ~/Library/Application Support/ColossusCoin2 Then create a colossuscoin2.conf file configuration file in that wallet directory with your necessary settings.
