- дали "добро" на что? Если на откат - то нет. Они дали форжерам возможность своими мощностями (т.е. в соответствии с принципами PoS) сделать выбор - оставить как есть, или в рамках протокола (внутри 720-ти блокового окна) сделать реорганизацию последних блоков, при этом другие транзакции не страдают, в биткоине аналога этому нет. Im still using bter but only for small transactions like usual. Their nxt wallet was hacked so site is still secure. - not their wallet, but password to the wallet. The hacker claims, that they used the same password to many of their resources. |

this sounds like a plan but i think the main goal should be to develop a c version of the wallet and supply this to the exchanges.
the nxt hack at bter was only a matter of time cause all is based on java....

Но эта фича из тех, которые должны оставаться техническими, а не становиться идеологическими. .. - нет, это было тестирование другой фичи: "Economic Clustering" (составной части Transparent Forging): ..There is no penalty for a forger currently to forge on both forks (this will change once Economic Clustering is active, but this is not scheduled yet). .. Насчёт Economic Clustering в nxtforum на разведку приходил лично Виталик Бутерин: That's the idea behind Slasher. It's good against short-range attacks, but not long-range ones (see my article).
Good news. Against long-range attacks we r protected by the extra consensus rule that forces to stick to a branch with the highest rate of transactions belonging to the same economic cluster. So basically you use transactions-as-proof-of-stake. That sounds reasonable; it's as good as I can think of at this point, although it has the moderately-serious-but-not-fatal flaws that I described in my On Stake article. I eagerly await a full whitepaper description and open source code of your complete protocol so both myself and more formal academics can properly whack at the specifics. |
