Really if Java was that bad, it's hard to understand why it is so widely used in the enterprise world. It's FUD because security is not about a vulnerability in Java. A vulnerability STILL needs some malicious code to run before it can be exploited- this is a problem because the average user do run such code every now and then, or another vulnerability in e.g. a browser is used to execute said code. In short don't run untrusted code and you'll be fine, properly firewall the system, and you'll be fine.

I' ve got feeling (and some excel estimation) that diff is rising much slower than a few days ago, from my worksheet i would estimate whole BURST capacity at ~377 TB (which is only 50 TB more than 48 hours ago) and mining rate as 0.81 block / TB / day(+/- 50%) And wow i'm 8th at richlist are you sure.i thought i am 8 th ok, 9th but we have same number of blocks

Still, any news about pools? For a lot of miners it's getting harder to find blocks and are losing precious time.

Is there any mining profability calculator? I don't know if it's worth mining

Is there any mining profability calculator? I don't know if it's worth mining 0.032 BTC / TB / day if people are really buying 10k for 0.04 (+/- 50%)

Was hoping to be testing a pool by now, but the difficulty issue took priority, so hopefully I'll be testing something tonight.

Hello , you are using my logo, so it would be fair to receve some bounty for my work.
- hi, no problem, I've removed the image. If you think that my goal is to gain money with this gateway, you are wrong. i just exchange a few pm with dev burstcoin, and he helped me to understand how to start to mine and to generate address, and it was a success. However, it is your call, to be only coin that doesn't have a logo, with a present one, and i am not selling the logo, just want bounty for helping spreading and better advertising the coin.

Great Job! This is one of the things we need. Some kind of a block explorer/ rich list. added the balance to the blockfinder list ... analyze by yourself :-) http://pastebin.com/HBFuBRL9please make online service just give me some time ... code is just quick and dirty right now ... LIXE can you post how many users are mining burst
we need more power to be considered from exchange!
thanks!!!
...
Burst Blockfinder @ 2116 http://pastebin.com/YfZLt7SLWoot.in the top 10 block finders.didnt expect that sry, no online service yet, but you can use the following to generate blockfinder-list by youself: https://mega.co.nz/#!h5hBgQba!p8A7PR_JboGlakjyYP5DiCLbuHGH4pkgAYJ6X0GrGYM your wallet has to be up and running ... i'm just using its api! sources included, if you dont't trust me compile it yourself ... usage: save to text file: java > blockfinder-list.txt -jar burst-blockfinder-0.1.0.jar localhost:8125
print to command line: java -jar burst-blockfinder-0.1.0.jar localhost:8125
localhost:8125 ist default, not needed ... just to let you know how to change wallet url.

In short don't run untrusted code and you'll be fine, properly firewall the system, and you'll be fine. you currently mix up javascript and java but thats not the point here. the enterprise world loves java because its powerfull and can be secured by the application design. the most critical point in any design is to only allow defined and trusted network peers access to the java vm. in 99% of all enterprise apps this is done by secured networks. a core element of a wallet application design is to communicate with "anonymous" peers. firewalling a java wallet vm in a exchange environment may only be possible by analysing the traffic payload with snort or similar tools. then you let only pass "known good" packets. this is a really hard (if even possible) job to do which would not have to be done if the wallet code is ported to c. thats the point in my inital reply.

Look now at the blocks mined! I've seen lots of time that there is a big chance to hit two blocks in a row or between few blocks! Even if you have a small plot.. Yesterday I've hit two blocks in a row without low deadlines with 571GB on my notebook.. Just luck!?
Same now.. Two blocks in a row: 2155 - 2156! Like 2102 - 2103, or 2098 - 2099! Look at the blockchain! Dev, is it normal?!

May I remind you, mates, that it is possible to trade at Asset Exchange via BURST Gateway: Burst For those, who want to trade BURST, I've created the BURST Gateway on Nxt Asset Exchange (AE): Asset Name: 1000BURSTAsset ID: 251006016744564741Trading volumes: here or here. Each one asset represents 1000 BURST coins. In order to sell your BURTS coins with Asset Exchange, you should: 1] Obtain 1000BURST asset for your BURST coins; 2] Place sell order with your newly 1000BURST asset at Nxt Asset Exchange (see public Nxt nodes below); 3] When somebody buy you 1000BURST asset, you'll get some NXT coins (according to your price); 4] Sell that NXT coins at https://www.cryptsy.com/ or keep them if you want. So, 1] to get 1000BURST asset just send your BURST coins to the BURTS Gateway address BURST-MCHC-LBKK-ZLZY-C3XL5 _and_ send an Arbitrary Message containing your NXT address (not in numeric, but in alpha-numeric format, like NXT-VVTV-U25N-U2FY-2V35H) to the same address. (I'll send 5 NXT along with a 1000BURST assets to depositors who do not have any NXT, so that they will be able to place orders and pay 1 NXT network commission)........
