For bitcoin, the only way to start is to purchase an ASIC miner. (Machines that can only mine bitcoins and nothing else) People here are keeping their eyes on blackarrow pre-orders. (they ship in feb to march-april)
There are a few places that sell, a heavy number of scams... so a lot of research must be done before purchasing.
For litecoins, this can be done with computers. You can go with all new parts or used parts. What matters the most is the ATI videocard and the power supplies. You need to do a bit of homework, finding the best bang for the buck as what videocard to get, the motherboard needs at least 2 pcie 16x slots (unless you get riser cables 1x to 16x)
I can't say its too late, but it certainly is late to see a quick Return of investment.
No matter what, know that it's high risk, great experience, it's fun, it can be fruitful but you shouldn't depend on it to be.
In other words, don't invest money you don't have... but if you do have 1000$ to kill, you can certainly make something decent that brings 50-100$ a month
An asic miner can mine a lot of other coins other than bitcoin. Bitcoin isnt even the most profitable...just goes to show you people give out BS advice in this forum all day

Hey everybody, I'm helping my dad sell his 2008 Mercedes-Benz SL-55 AMG. We're located in Central Florida, and would accept local pickup, or delivery payed by the buyer, although I'm hesitant to that due to possible damage that can occur in shipping - but we'll discuss that if we get to it. The car itself is in excellent condition, has 10KKK miles and has always been garage kept and washed after just about every drive! This Link will take you to the craigslist posting and that also has an imgur album linked at the bottom with more pictures. I'll answer any questions via PM, or post them in the thread Thanks! Nice, Im looking for a Mercedes in Orlando but I havent moved back yet. Your dad should look into that American Bitcoin BLACK Card so he can take that bitcoin payment. Signature below Im from Winter Park by the way, so howdy neighbor!

I like how dipshit's Josh's only retort had to do with the accuracy of my comment regarding being 3 months behind already. I suppose we can take the rest of my statement as an accurate, mutually agreed upon, assessment. How much did the monarchs cost? and what was a bitcoin worth when everyone ordered them? Did people spend like 40 bitcoins on these monarchs?

look you wont make any btc with the network difficulty sky high
You see that dipshit? A first batch pre-order Neptune just sold for 26k on ebay. I should be able to get at least 30k each for my 3 VIP orders. So thats a total of 90k on a 30k investment. That is what I call ROI! How do you know it's not a scam bid? Put your cock back in your pants there hotrod. Cause i talked to the seller, and it was a Buy Now. Usually scam bids are made during bidding.

I don't know, I don't think it's too late to offload 1st gen ASICs to idiots on eBay, they're still selling fairly well there. Might be the best time to do that and then you get to keep your Bitcoins and gain USD to reinvest.
True enough. We bash eBay but it keeps lots of miners afloat A first batch pre-order Neptune just sold for 26k on ebay. I should be able to get at least 30k each for my 3 VIP orders. So thats a total of 90k on a 30k investment. That is what I call ROI!

I know a chip coming out in April that is <0.2W per Gh ..... its hard to hear about every development in these field - not all companies need to shout their specs to the rafters in order to generate pre-orders to fund the development.

It is the most powerful, electrically efficient miner that will ever be produced.
Source? Especially on the ' ever' part Well, obviously the "will ever" bit is nonsense. There will be a more powerful, more efficient miner within the next 2 months for sure. its called progress Have you heard about more powerful electrically efficient chips being produced? I sure havent...cant pull anymore power from a consumer standpoint What's the wattage per GH on this "most powerful, electrically efficient miner that will ever be produced"? Well its the 20NM chip...its the best. Its a 30% reduction per GH from the 28NM chips used in saturns and jupiters. I think if something else bigger was coming out, you would of heard about it by now...you cant go any bigger than 4TH on a consumer power supply...Not the way I see it at least

For work on a new cryptocurrency, must be very experienced with C++ and familiar with the protocol. Paid in BTC. PM Skype nickname.
I'm a very experienced C++ programmer, used to write computer games in it, but not sure what "familiar with the protocol means". Can you make that clearer? thx have you ever been to www.mcxnow.com?Nope, why, what is it? Its an exchange built in C++. I was wondering if you knew how much something like the back end would cost. No exchange or anything. Just the ability for members to sign up and deposit different coins in their account.

Look at my ballz dude...im first day shipping on the VIP orders, and I only paid 10 btc per neptune. I could get a refund right now and make money on the transaction. Its not just bitcoin, and its not going to be just bitcoin...take your hateraid bullshit somewhere else, cause you sound like a full retard. No your the retard thinking you are going to get a roi, so much is going to be added to the network how do you expect 3TH to be enough ? Firstly like the jupiter was supposed to be like 275 GH/s and it clocked into the 600s in some cases. So I expect the neptunes to be closer to 4 TH/s. Secondly, like I said, bitcoin is not the only crypto you can mine. It is the most powerful, electrically efficient miner that will ever be produced.

Few days ago, few hours after there were about 200 Neptunes left, KNCMiner put "Unavailable" in its 2nd Batch Neptunes, as it always does when a batch is sold out. However today they have updated it to 170 units left (maybe some big cancelation happened). Anyway, in case someone was planning to purchase a Neptune, you still have about 3-5 days until those sell out... for real.
Cant wait for my neptunes

Interesting, you can provide more details?
Sure, the card is personal to you and in its purest form it is simply a more convenient way to accept bitcoins. You dont have to boot up your phone, enter in your long passphrase or submit your 2FAuth in order to accept bitcoin deposits. Basically, its a back up to your phone, or just a more convenient alternative. The bottom line is phones die, and now with the all of the functions batteries dont last very long. Well, that can be a problem if you want to do transactions in bitcoin. Even when I dont have my phone with me, someone can still hand me a dollar. This isnt the case when it comes to bitcoin. You have to have a way of accepting bitcoin even when you dont have your phone with you. This is where the ATM/Deposit card comes in. The card also acts as a membership. We lack the development knowledge to do a coinkite POS feature, but it is a possibility in the future. The member services are pretty basic at this point. Depending on your membership level, the fees that coincide with the services will vary. For instance, all BLACK card members are offered free Escrow Services with $500 USD in insurance to assure the seller their coins are safe at all times. A lot of people obviously offer this in this forum. However, American Bitcoin Inc is obviously an officially registered business within the United States. Therefore, your options of recourse should anything go wrong, are much greater as well. In simplest terms, American Bitcoin is not only accountable to you, we are accountable to the US Justice Dept. That should help all buyers and sellers sleep just a little better at night. Then we also offer a snapcard feature, but without all the bells and whistles. You would have to submit the link to the item you wish to buy, and we would make sure everything goes smoothly...better rates than snapcard as well depending on your membership level. Then there is a chat, forum, you set up your own profile, charts, and a very large directory of all business that take bitcoin, gambling sites, bitcoin faucets, and we will have bitcoin give-away contests for fun etc etc... Now this is the very beginning, so we only have about 35 paying members so far and most have splurged for the BLACK card. Which isnt bad at all considering we have only been taking pre-orders. The site is up, we have not disclosed the domain yet to members; but you can check it out http://theamericanbitcoincompany.com/Now, Im changing this proof slightly but you can get the idea of what the card will look like. It will be printed on a lithograph printer so it will have the same professional detail as a standard credit card, as well as the embossed lettering and numbering. Below is the Gold, Silver, and Bronze sample of what my card will look like. http://www.ebay.com/itm/281247661717?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 http://www.ebay.com/itm/281247663183?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 http://www.ebay.com/itm/281247663668?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649Thanks for checking us out!
