Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Hycon (HYC) a good token to HODL or a lost cause today?

You meant even people will pump it when HYC didn't have good news to be announced, right? if that's your theory why don't you go to some coins that are not yet pumped on binance? that would be a better choice rather than HYC and I do believe the coins on binance has so many support from the various exchange site too. You must see the trend and when at that time you have sold all of HYC and then convert it into the NFT token like dego or flow and you have got 1000% return. [/quote]
Yeah. They used to be solid. Maybe theyīll get up and running again. I donīt know. I feel like I wanna invest a little into them again. Maybe wait for a sign of life from them first. It has moved a little up lately though.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best stable coin when selling crypto?

Thanks for all the great answers. But if one mainly uses Binance, and BUSD can be sent straight to your bank account from Binance, whereas USDT canīt.. Wouldnīt it be best to just sell off all your crypto in BUSD on Binance then? Iīm talking about if the market is gonna crash and you wanna sell of all your crypto at Binance.

USDT or BUSD? I never really sold and withdrew any crypto before. Just wondering what most people do on here when selling and tranfering to their bank accounts.
Usdt is more popular and available on erc20 and trc20 both platforms. It is also the only stable coin traded on almost all big and even small exchanges. BUSD is available only on Binance chain and is less popular. Thanks for your answer. Yeah, I mostly use USDT these days. I like it. But I also hear that USDT isnīt as safe as BUSD? Canīt remember where I read it.

I sold all my HYC, but I am playing with the idea of getting into it again (with just a few bucks) simply because itīs so low "for the hell of it". What if the market explodes and we get a super cycle / massive altcoin season? I donīt think itīs very likely that itīll go up, but IF it does.. The gains could be massive! In theory. If people even newer to this than me FOMO into it. Even if HYCON doesnīt have any plans. I mean, there are some 1000x tokens that do see this increase in price.
I see that only Okex has HYC!?

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Sending token from MyEtherWallet (Ledger) to an exchange
|
on: March 06, 2021, 05:53:47 PM

Hi, I am about to send a token from MEW/Ledger to an exchange but when I try to do the send, MEW tells me I need to activate contracts on my Ethereum app (I donīt know what this means) on the Ledger before sending the token from MEW. However.. It is right that the token will be sent from MEW/Ledger VIA a contract address to the exchange? I never saw this before. Or is it a hacker trying to steal my tokens? Iīm still kind of a newbie so.. Any feedback on this appreciated! Edit: I just tried to sent it and it worked. I now know the meaning of a contract.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Is Hycon (HYC) a good token to HODL or a lost cause today?

I bought some HYC a while ago, but they havenīt gone anywhere since. I try to read about HYC and their future developments but Iīm not sure what to think of what I find. Some say HYC is dead and wonīt ever go up again (Last time was in October to December 2018 with an ATH in the latter month). Should I get rid of my HYC for what little there is left of the investment (with a loss) or buy more?

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Keep ERC20 token on Metamask or Ledger?

Do whatever you want with it tbh.
If it's worth transacting (high value of token and not too much in fees) then I'd move it to the ledger and use mew - they're not too different anyway.
Ok. Do you have any thoughts on why all ERC20 tokens arenīt added to Ledger (Live) by Ledger? I find it messy to store different ERC20 tokens in different wallets.

Some say altcoins pump once, then itīs over forever. But thatīs not always true. If the coin has real technology and usage behind it we could see it go to the moon in the future. Which altcoins have the best potential to stick around and create gains in the future?
Hard to say, but let me give you some, [1] Ethereum (ETH), obviously as the prime mover of altcoin market, this should be the top choice. Just look at the massive pump in January, it already surpasses its all time high because of the hype around ETH2.0. And although it has a lot of competition, still it remain at the top of the food chain [2] Polkadot (DOT) - at one time, flips XRP, sets a new all time high. It's market structure is very strong, and it could challenge ETH regarding scalability, specially their "parachains" design. Ok, cool. I had 14 ETH (average cost 250-300 bucks I think) over the past few years but I sold them over time to buy other altcoins. Kind of regret it now. And "what if" ETH reaches BTC highs later - Ouch! Ok. I already decided I will try to build my ETH up again. I have also seen some videos about Polkadot on YT lately. Iīll be ure to check out some more. Thanks for the input! Appreciated!
