81  Economy / Gambling / Re: MintDice – Bitcoin Casino With Online Slots, Bitcoin Crash & Bitcoin Investment on: March 03, 2022, 04:59:15 AM

Cheers guys  Wink

Hi,

- Biggest Possible Win on dice is 2.67 BTC. But it's actually 0.01 BTC. Have you recently lowered it?

- Please move BETS column to a separate page. Because when other players plays auto-roll, I can't play dice smoothly on pc's without powerful graphics as very fast flow of lines on BETS column makes CPU usage 100%. MYBETS and BETS colums must be at different pages or BETS column must be removed as it has no use.

- Upgrading to full account is difficult as it doesn't accept any email provider. Please allow any domain. It shouldn't be an issue as long as the user is able to click on email verification link.

- Please make the current dark background white.

Thanks.

Pretty sure they are not an active project anymore.

You might as well look for alternatives instead of wasting energy on them.

In regards to the max bet, they probably pulled out funds from the site since it's an abandoned project so there isn't much to be said there.
82  Economy / Gambling / Re: btb88 is now Maverick Games! Join us while we build 🚀 Licensed & Regulated on: March 03, 2022, 04:50:44 AM
Any reasons why its not working in Austria?
Maybe some changes in the future?

What countries do you actually have licenses in right now?

Do you have to be a citizen in one of these licensed countries to access the site?

When are KYC checkpoints placed in case someone from outside of one of the allowed countries decided to create an account, and what are the consequences? Thanks!
83  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC over 50k? on: February 26, 2022, 10:31:30 PM
I personally don't think that this is much of a possibility.

There is too much geopolitical conflict occurring for prices to stabilize and climb substantially over the coming months. The bitcoin halving cycle is also coming to an end, which signals that perhaps we have already seen the top of this bull run.

I would probably stay put and keep DCAing for now, with no expectation of short term gains anywhere close to last year.
84  Economy / Economics / Re: Fuel prices hitting an eight year high on: February 26, 2022, 09:59:58 PM
The ridiculous thing about this oil crisis is that it's not even captured by the inflation figures that we have.
That's interesting, I didn't actually know that, I thought that inflation also included gas prices, but it seems like it doesn't.
No, and that's one of the reasons why the inflation reports are skewed, i.e., it can "feel" like inflation is much higher than what the government is telling you.  Even consider things like stocks and bitcoin--those are both rocketing up in value (price), but they're obviously not included in the inflation numbers even though their prices are being inflated over time.

By the way, gas prices are still pretty high in my area, but they haven't gone up much (if at all) since I last posted in this thread.  I don't really keep an eye on oil prices--or even gas prices--but I'd guess that if gas were to start going for over $4/gallon, I'd be hearing about it on the news.  But even still, gas was more expensive than that back in 2004 or so, when the dollar was worth slightly less.  So $3.50/gallon is high but not record-breaking high, and I know it's way more expensive in other parts of the world.

Yep - core inflation does not capture any of the oil price shocks.

Brent Crude hitting $100/gallon is only going to be the start of this oil crisis. War takes oil, and the sanctions doesn't help the cause.

Hopefully the Fed does something about the inflation domestically while concentrating on the abroad situation as well. Otherwise, they'd be shooting themselves in the foot as their domestic citizens will suffer a terrible fate as well. Although, I'm not confident that they'll actually do anything.
85  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia's Stock Market Amidst War Against Ukraine on: February 26, 2022, 09:40:14 PM
What's on Putin's mind is far more than monetary outcomes.

But yeah, it does seem like a huge hit on the regular citizens of Russia. Most of the sanctions are going to be hitting hard on the citizens as opposed to high ranking government officials or the oligarchs. The citizens will be the ones left holding the bag, unable to transact with the rest of the world, being censored etc.

Makes me wonder though if these Russian stocks would be worth a buy at some stage as a value bet?
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where should I invest money? on: February 26, 2022, 09:17:33 PM
Anchor yields are only propped up via their yield reserve.

I don't think that there is anything wrong with investing your funds with them per se, as you can always pull them out and it's always guaranteed by the smart contract.

But definitely don't count on the protocol's yields staying at 19.5% over the long run. Unless they keep funnelling Terra Foundation funds into the protocol's yield reserves, the current yields are not sustainable and will probably fall to closer to 5-10% APY. Which is still good, but not as attractive.
87  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🥇 Crashino.com 🚀 Provably Fair Crash Games, Casino and Sportsbook ✌ No KYC on: February 26, 2022, 11:21:32 AM
I love the no-KYC focus as well as the fact that you guys have so many different crash game modes.

Recently, there have just been so many new casinos popping up that are offering the exact same game modes, and that is just not fun for any of the players involved.

It's time for some innovation.

I also like the fact that you guys offer esports betting. Hopefully your limits are high enough to attract whales, as I think that esportsbooks are seriously lacking in the crypto space right now and there is simply a ton of demand for them.
88  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⭐BrawlBets⭐ Fight Predictions ✅ 64% Win rate ✅ 2.3+ odds ✅ New Autobet Feature on: February 26, 2022, 11:15:47 AM
Thank you for your explanation. It makes sense to have 64% win rate. But what if it couldn’t? Will you compensate if the gambler follow your signals? I'm not really sure whether your statement is true or not but 64% success rate with 2.3+ odds. Will have an eyes.

I will not pay back losses but I will pay back the subscription fee if you don't profit.

EDIT: Or offer an extension if you'd rather stay with us until you do profit.

I feel like that this is not what the OP suggests?

OP makes it seem like that you are going to be refunded any of your losses as well. Obviously it makes your claims a bit more legitimate if you are only planning on refunding the subscription fee, but people would still be losing their capital and risking potentially their savings.

Do you have any other proof that you are profitable over the long term? Do you have any ongoing picks that you have won recently?
89  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 26, 2022, 11:06:58 AM
I was expecting a fierce competition between Lakers and Clippers last night and I got the thing I wanted from this game. After a big competition, Clippers were the winner of the game by 105-102. Lebron played for Lakers gratefully and at least they fought back really hard against their opponent. However Lebron didn't score too many points also. If he was able to score more, they would have won this game in fact. Clippers still continue to do a good job in the absence of George and Leonard.

Lebron missed the game winner and just walked off.

I do love LeBron as a player, but he sometimes lets the frustration get to him and he doesn't engage with his team.

It is quite clear that he is not happy with the lineup, but there is nothing much that he can do. He is getting far too old to have a true championship window and the Lakers are way below .500 now to make a difference in the playoffs. Clippers were undermanned as well without PG or Kawhi.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the safest coin to stake? on: February 26, 2022, 10:56:57 AM
It certainly will be ETH whenever ETH 2.0 is available. However, even at the time being we are seeing some places like Binance start allowing people to stake in a pool together with the current system. Doesn't mean that it should be done in a different way or should be done badly, it is definitely not a great system currently but it is not zero neither, it is at least something.

Requires you to lock it for a long time and doesn't earn you much, so it is not preferred at the time being. Which leaves things like BNB at bay, that is a lot better and you could stake it in a million different places and you could earn a lot of money from them as well, certainly a good option.

What exactly do you and OP mean by the "safest" coin even?

Are you talking about network safety, or fluctuations with the price of the coin...?

If the former, then you can't get better than Ethereum. ETH2.0 staking has been available for quite a while now and has produced consistent returns. SOL is also a potential alternative, although its network is down sometimes so you will need to be comfortable with that.

If you care about the fiat value of your Stake, then I highly suggest looking at Anchor protocol - not really staking but 20% APY on stablecoins is pretty sweet.
91  Economy / Gambling / Re: SandboxCasino.io サンドボックス It's Simple: Fun and Fair. on: February 26, 2022, 10:43:39 AM
Interesting, thank you all for your input. Yeah a KYC requirement only for free bonuses would/could solve the issue of scammers abusing the bonuses. Since otherwise we do not use the KYC in any way.

I would strongly advise against implementing any KYC requirements.

I'd rather have some more restrictions on the free bonuses rather than having to verify.

Make it accessible to everyone, even if it means that people get less in perks. I think that upholding the very principles of anonymity will give you a lot of fans, especially when it comes to crypto and Web3.0 based casinos that are trying to decentralized the marketplace.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the safest coin to stake? on: February 24, 2022, 10:42:40 PM
First of all, I don't think that you should look at staking as an income source per se.

The token supply inflates whenever you receive staking rewards, which means that unless the market cap of the coin goes up and exceeds the growth in staking rewards in the ecosystem, you are actually not making much money at all.

You could, however, try staking SOL or ETH. Both give attractive rewards, but as I said, you should not treat this as income.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still not satisfied with crypto games on: February 24, 2022, 10:34:09 PM
Getting bored with crypto gaming projects, I'd like to make money out of something fun to play but with crypto games it's really about the money you will make out of the games, I've not seen real good game Devs utilizing the power of blockchain or maybe it's my taste of games that im used to, I just still prefer spending more time on my Xbox than crypto games because it's more fun than crypto games

Completely agree.

Most of the games out there that involve crypto is merely there for the reason of getting investor money or whatnot.

There are very little actual playable projects in the space, and none of them compete with the major titles that have already been released. That is one of the main detriments to the crypto gaming model imho.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coins are included in Web 3.0 on: February 24, 2022, 10:18:55 PM
The Web3.0 brand is an umbrella term.

Essentially whatever you invest in which has smart contract capabilities as well as NFT, DeFi integrations will be considered to be a part of Web3.0.

I'd say that the poster child is probably ETH and SOL if you want the greatest exposure without much risk. They will both encapsulate a lot of secondary projects that are hosted on their platform, which is awesome.
95  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦉 Owl.games 🦉 Web 3.0 Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - BTC-Metamask-Walletconnect on: February 24, 2022, 10:02:35 PM
The other day i deposit OWL tokens into my account in OWLgames , one thing i noted its when you put a bet you dont put the ammount in OWL, you put the ammount in USD and its instantly converted.

Anyways its great the fast it was thanks for the metamask tecnology to deposit. With other owl tokens i put to staking.

Makes a lot of sense since OWL is very volatile.

Does this conversion happen on chain or off chain though? If it's on chain then I'm still concerned about the slippage and liquidity issues in the exchange pool.

It's a promising project and is one of the only Web3.0 casinos that have enough features and rewards to make it worthwhile to play at imo.
96  Economy / Gambling / Re: How To Access Sportsbet.io or any kind of gambling without VPN on: February 24, 2022, 09:42:06 PM
You are probably better off just using a VPN then.

If somehow you mess up these settings, they could trace back to your activities and it'll show up your IP without being masked.

Also, you'd still be breaching their terms of service so be very aware of that fact. You do not have some sort of special power that bars you from being KYC'd or whatnot.
97  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CrazyTime and Monopoly, should we trust? on: February 24, 2022, 09:23:16 PM
Based from the poll, gamblers here are not trusting this kind of live games. And yet, many gamblers are playing this game. So if you don't trust this game, why are you playing?  Tongue So yes, for me, if you have doubt about the provable fairness of the game, better choose a trustworthy casino. At least, they are tested with a lot of players and if they are running shady operations, it will be expose by users.

I guess there is a difference between trust and willingness to play.

People are still quite willing to play these games despite knowing that it's not provably fair or whatnot, presumably because of the entertainment value.

And that is honestly fair enough. I sometimes play these games for fun too. But the problem lies with streamers promoting this game as the equivalent of provably fair and dropping thousands in a single bet which you should never do.
98  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Interesting odds, bonuses and promotions on: February 24, 2022, 09:03:13 PM
I didn't find a thread still open to discuss and to share interesting promotions.
So if you find an interesting promotion, bonus or odds on a crypto sportsbook or casino and if you want to share it with the community feel free to post it here, I'm sure you'll be generously thanked by the other gamblers (including me) Smiley

I start with this one, it won't interest high rollers but it can interest many small/common bettors IMO.

Duelbits offers odds @6.00 for a goal of Cristiano Ronaldo this night while it's currently @2.320 at Pinnacle
The maximum stake is $20.
https://duelbits.com/promotions/atletico-manchester-united-ronaldo-score-doubled-odds
Quote
Place a pre-match single bet on Ronaldo to score anytime on the Atlético Madrid vs Manchester United match
If you win, the additional winnings to reflect the 6.00 boost will be credited within 24 hours
The maximum stake for the boosted odds is $20. Any stake above this amount will be paid out at the normal odds.

These promos might look great on the surface, but if you dig a bit deeper you notice that the maximum bet is peanuts and you only get the benefits if you win the bet.

Is it worthwhile to play if you were already on the site? Absolutely. But honestly, it's probably not going to be worth your time to create an account just to claim this.

BTW does anyone know how Duelbits ensures there is no multiaccounting going on here?
99  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 24, 2022, 08:48:31 PM
Pretty disappointing to read Simmons won’t be in the lineup tonight. The guy has been off for how long now? Pretty unprofessional of him to not be ready to go. I guess that’s no surprise considering what he’s been up to so far this season. I hope we don’t have a Zion situation on our hands. If Ben hasn’t been staying in shape there’s a real concern he could get injured, which is I guess why they’re holding him out right now. I just hope once he does come back, there’s no more drama.

Sounds like Kyrie will be playing in home games pretty soon also. Nets finally getting some good news.

Simmons needs to understand that he is not that important.

Unfortunately, with the league is currently set up, it is extraordinarily skewed towards player empowerment.

While that obviously is good in some aspects, you also create situations where divas like Simmons is allowed to roam free and do whatever he wants. He needs to understand that he is getting paid to do a job, and just do it. Look at Kemba for example.
100  Other / Archival / Re: Gambling in Wartime ⚽ 🏈 🏀 🎾 🎰📈🚀💥 on: February 24, 2022, 08:27:17 PM
I thought I saw something about Russia being removed as the Champions League final host.

There are likely going to be disruptions if the league you are betting on is mostly located in Europe.

Especially with crypto sportsbooks, I wouldn't risk it and bet on an event that could be potentially disrupted/postponed. They could hold your funds for ages and deny wins, etc., which is certainly not ideal.
