101  Economy / Gambling / Re: Hashwars.games | Blockhash based Rolls/Verification | No KYC | up to 0.01% edge on: February 24, 2022, 04:04:39 AM
I personally think that your house edge for playing against house money is way too high.

You're probably going to find much more interest in your product if you just reduce that slightly.

The idea is interesting, but this has been done many times before (transaction hash based gaming). I don't think that it has gone mainstream for a very good reason, and that is that it is just less engaging and less spontaneous than the regular dice or whatnot.
102  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betssen.com - Safe and Licensed - International Payment methods on: February 24, 2022, 03:57:24 AM
There is a lot of payment methods for sure.

However, there are significant overlaps from what I can tell?

Also, have you considered the implications for accepting so many fiat payment processors? You may find yourself needing to comply with KYC/AML procedures from the officials or whatnot, which is obviously not going to be ideal for a crypto audience.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: MaticRoll.org - Roll Game. Powered by Chainlink and Polygon. Bitcoin Accept. on: February 23, 2022, 09:40:54 AM
I personally think that you should increase the range of odds that people are able to bet at.

Right now it is limited to 5%-95% with not too much variation allowed in between as only integer percentages are allowed. A lot of dice players love to customize their gameplay to their own risk tolerance so that's definitely something to look into.

Also, you should develop new game modes for the site. Just having dice is not too attractive right now.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About USDT on: February 21, 2022, 10:43:55 PM
Please correct me if I got it all wrong, audited projects are projects that have passed some security checkup right? As a newbie I kinda like investing in projects that are audited atleast so back to my question, USDT is the biggest stable coin right? When I tracked it on coinmarketcap I found out that's it passed audits through Certik and Fairyproof, why haven't this clear the rumour that USDT might fail someday? Because it's Centralised? If that's it then why DAI ( decentralized stable coin) haven't grow over USDT all this while?

I do feel like DAI is the better alternative.

However, liquidity is sort of a self-fulfilling prophecy. USDT has always had the upper hand when it came to trading volume, so this is what people default to when they trade on major exchanges or even when exchanges make their listing decisions.

In the future definitely expect UST, DAI to make some noise. Decentralized stablecoins are the future, and USDC and USDT are on the way out.
105  Economy / Economics / Re: The Problem with Mainstream Banks and a New Alternative | Fluid on: February 21, 2022, 10:08:22 PM
Coexistence between crypto and fiat is the probable outcome and is what happens now.

I do agree that there is a problem with mainstream banks, but I don't necessarily think that it's going anywhere any time soon.

There is significant amounts of traditional power that are within these banks which one simply cannot get from crypto projects. Fractional reserve banking will be extremely costly to unwind, and will likely cause future bank runs ahead of us. Politicians will not have this situation happen and may even move to restrict cryptos before that occurs.
106  Other / Archival / Re: Why you shouldn't invest in NFT tokens on: February 21, 2022, 09:44:50 PM
The fact that centralized entities are able to delist and therefore materially affect the prices of NFTs is also absurd.

E.g. I believe some BAYC owner was able to pressure Opensea into labelling some stolen NFTs as fraudulent.

While that in itself has nothing wrong with it, it inherently challenges the principles of decentralization. You are essentially catering for the ultra-rich elite and appeasing them whenever they fail to instate the necessary security themselves.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you consider the safety factor/risk of your invested tokens? on: February 21, 2022, 09:37:18 PM
If there was a tool that gave you a definite answer, then you will essentially be able to make infinite profit. There is no perfect analysis for this.

But I think that the best indicator of how much risk you are taking on is a project's market cap.

Anything large cap you should expect to see significantly less fluctuations in its value compared to small cap coins that are just started up. Small caps also tend to underperform in bear markets as everyone is trying to scrape by with a skeleton portfolio, and the small caps are usually the first ones out as they become overvalued during the bull run.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is better: Ethereum or the Binance Smart Chain? on: February 21, 2022, 09:26:47 PM
Depends on what you're comparing them for.

ETH is clearly the more powerful chain in my opinion, with a lot more dApps and just people in its ecosystem compared to BNB.

But if you were yield farming as a retail investor I would definitely go for Binance just because of the cheaper fees. It is almost impossible to put transactions through without having to pay hundreds of dollars in fees when you're transacting on the ETH chain.
109  Economy / Economics / Re: Just my own thoughts on: February 21, 2022, 09:21:37 PM
Bitcoin is fully decentralized which is why I think it doesn't have to compete with Fiat at all, those who needs the decentralized idea should just keep using BTC as it is, we all know that CBDC will run on the blockchain too but in centralised form so where thus this leave Bitcoin?

It's simply not the same market that BTC and CBDCs are in.

CBDCs are a digital extension of fiat that was bound to happen as a matter of time. BTC is decentralized and secure, and cannot be tampered with by any central governments.

Essentially they are precisely the two ends of the spectrum when it comes to decentralization. One gives the government more power and traceability, the other doesn't. People who desire decentralization will obviously still opt for BTC.
110  Economy / Economics / Re: US national debt exceeds $30 trillion on: February 21, 2022, 09:15:01 PM
It's an insidious tax on the public.

Everyone who is rejoicing about the new stimulus check or whatnot have to understand that it's coming out of their pockets. The taxpayers, as a collective, will have to pay for this debt as a matter of time.

Such amounts of debt also furthers the inflation problem, which is certainly not ideal given the lack of action by the central bank to try to tighten monetary policy.
111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake Wagered $1.3 million in super bowl bet using bitcoin on: February 21, 2022, 09:09:39 PM
Huge for Stake and the crypto gambling industry as a whole.

This is probably one of the first times where a big, mainstream celebrity has openly showed that they use a crypto based casino.

I suspect that there will be an influx of new mainstream users as a result of this trend, and it is not unreasonable to think this given just how convenient crypto gaming is compared to other methods that take days/weeks to process just a simple withdrawal.
112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 21, 2022, 08:49:57 PM
It was relatively fun thanks to Steph Curry but not as much as it should have been. It was almost all threes and Embid slowly dunking(I love his game normally). That is not much fun. There wasn't a big highlight, not a great dunk, not a big entertaining move. Things are not going so good for All-star weekend these years. I think NBA management should try to spice thing up.

After the all star break, I expect the games will be fierce and fun. In the east Heat and Bulls seems to be getting ahead but we must look out for the Harden and Sixers. Eastern Conference is quite excited this year but I expect the playoff standings will be like this.

At the end of the day you have to respect the players.

The players clearly don't want to get injured and hurt their teams' chances. It is clear that a lot of these players are All-Stars for a reason and their departure could spell doom for their respective teams.

I think that instead of this, perhaps a shorter format for the All-Star game could be adopted instead to keep things fresh and interesting.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best casinos that gives dividends to token holders? on: February 21, 2022, 08:44:40 PM
BitDice, Owl Games, and BetFury comes into mind.

Note that each one has their separate structures for these dividend tokens. Some of them are going to be straight up equity ownership in the casino, whereas others are more just representative of reward tokens rather than actual equity.

Fees also vary. So don't go for the brand, go for what sort of value you actually get and whether people actually get good rewards from them.

So far nothing comes close to BFG token when it comes to daily dividend and market presence, so of the three BFG token is still good but since you are looking for another one, I can recommend OWLDAO but never Lut token, you'll have a long wait because they are going to list their token in 2023 and what you're earning is just a fraction on what you're going to earn on Betfury.

Yeah I do agree with the Betfury pick.

Just to add, I only recommended these three because they were the biggest. As I stated they are not necessarily going to give you the greatest returns.

E.g. The CSNO token from BitDice has been performing very poorly ever since its ICO, and I would personally not invest in it due to a significant lack of activity from the owners as well as a lack of exchange liquidity.
114  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦉 Owl.games 🦉 Web 3.0 Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - BTC-Metamask-Walletconnect on: February 21, 2022, 08:34:10 PM
I am trying to sell owl token which I bought 2 weeks ago and I am using 15% slippage. With this high slippage number, my request processed

I don't really follow OWL news but developers must have a plan for listing on CEX, because the potential for OWL tokens is huge, it will definitely beat $BFG or $FUN tokens

I wouldn't make premature conclusions, yet OWL has just begun its story, and FUN and BFG have a history! Where did you buy OWL tokens and do you get some staking rewards already!? I am thinking to start playing, but I can't find some time for that... I am already active on some of them, and if I wish to play on OWL I would have to quit playing on some other place!

I bought OWL on pancakeswap also with pair busd -> to OWL. the slippage I need is only 1%, very different from the pair OWL -> to busd (15%)

I have to admit that my conclusion is premature but at least if $OWL can be listed on CEX then I believe OWL can match the popularity of $BFG or $FUN

I don't think that it's necessary.

You'll have way too much regulatory red tape at any stage you list a casino token on major exchanges. And the developers of this project can probably put the listing fees back to reward their players, or even to provide liquidity on the swap pair on Pancakeswap.

Such a slippage is definitely concerning though and will alarm new investors.
115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why I can't access a casino while my country isn't got blacklisted? on: February 21, 2022, 08:24:46 PM
If VPN is the only solution then why are you keeping yourself from doing it? I don't understand. It's legal for a cheap price.
I have the same problem before and that's the solution so I used it to continue playing in a selected gambling site that I love the most. They are getting strict about this rules to avoid other problems from restricted countries might as well do your own fixing to be able to play again.

Well, because even if it's legal you would be breaching ToS of the casino?

The casino can now use any evidence of use of a VPN against you and hold your funds from being withdrawn from the site.

Besides, gambling isn't always legal especially for countries that forbid players who are playing on unlicensed casinos. This could be the case here, we don't know. Using a VPN certainly does not clear you of that possibility.
116  Economy / Gambling / Re: Fun Stats about Bitcoin Casinos | Infographic on: February 21, 2022, 08:20:55 PM
Well done on this extremely detailed infographic.

It is clear that as time has moved on, there has been a rapid influx of new casinos.

I personally still stick to the old classics because they are simply much more trustworthy and have stood the test of time. A lot of people just throw their money at new casinos, but I think that it is incredibly risky to do so especially without the proper research going into it beforehand.
117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for fun alone? how true? on: February 21, 2022, 08:15:34 PM
Have you heard that some people gamble for fun and not necessarily to make money?

I find it hard to believe completely because who doesn't like to make some more money even if it is not needed.

If you knew the exact sum you were going to loose gambling, and you are the type that they say " gambles for fun", will you find it fun loosing that money still? will you return another day in awareness of how much you will loose and still want to loose for fun?

Yes, and I would argue that this is the only healthy way of gambling.

Sure, you can win money from these games. That's what makes the game fun. But your objective isn't necessarily to chase your wins or losses.

Perhaps you're just having a punt with friends at the bar, for instance. For me, there is no expectation of monetary reward when I do that. It just makes the game more exciting.
118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Blackjack Discussion * Different Types of Live Blackjack(Evolution Gaming) on: February 21, 2022, 08:04:50 PM
Lightning Blackjack is the worst for a casual player that has a limited bank roll. The lightning fee is  100 of bet which is insanely high and you will need to win a game just to get the lightning multiplier. Afterwards they will charge again 100% lightning fee so technically you are just betting as 1:1 bet if your multiplier is just x2 while losing 200% of your bet if you lose a game which is not worth it especially if the dealers is on winning streak. This game ain't for normal players that want to have fun.  Cry

I guess people don't really care about RTP, especially if they are casual.

The best thing that you can do for yourself when it comes to maximising your odds is to follow the relevant basic strategies for Blackjack. On regular blackjack you should be able to get something like 99.5%.

But even if you play the best variant, without proper basic strategy, your RTP can slip drastically. When I want to play, I just play speed blackjack with Basic Strategy.

120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CrazyTime and Monopoly, should we trust? on: February 20, 2022, 10:24:07 PM
I definitely agree with your point.

The problem with live games is that they are prone to manipulation at some point and they are not probably fair. The developers have complete freedom to at least manipulate the odds in their favor, even if this is not likely the case. At this kind of gambling, what you are risking is the trust that you have over the online gambling website. But for the safest bet and odds, it is better to avoid or bet a minimum amount in case something happens.

Especially when you look at the various proofs that they are cheating - it becomes quite convincing in my opinion.

It might not happen much but the third party providers are definitely shady at best. There are so many clips of unnatural spins on crazy time that it drives me insane.

The physical manipulation aside, it is easy to manipulate the outcome of centralized games as well, so I would not put any trust in that either.
